The rear feels just about perfect. I'm going to add 8mm of pre-load on the springs and set the damping to the highest setting and work backwards (stiff-to-soft). I'm thinking that'll get me there faster 🤔

After several combinations, I've found that I get the best balance between handling and drivability by adding a little preload and going about 1/3 of the say damping settings. These Coilovers are doing a great job so far! @FactionFab

I’m having problems and I watched this video and factions fab video so much math so to measure the height is from the top of the plate to that bolt in your video correct with my wheels on it says to measure from the middle of the hub on the rim to the edge of the fender and I have max height I don’t understand why the back looks so low while the front looks so high I had them professionally installed and if I lower it I’m gonna have to get a another alignment?

Go with the manufacturer's instructions to be safe. I used my own reference point just to translate thread measurements to inches of ride height.
If you adjust the rear it shouldn't be too bad but you will end up with negative camber...not too bad. The front is definitely more challenging. The camber adjustment bolts will only do so much so with my height I'm stuck with negative camber in the front which is not ideal. Its most noticable at low speeds.
      Hope that helps.

@@MrCliffWorks I took screen shots of yours but there were no instructions in the f spec box so I went to the website and went max height rear and max height front no matter what the back is gonna sag a tiny bit

Installed mine yesterday I set it to max height until the settle 95mm front and 55mm rear. And to me it looks higher than stock.

That's how mine looked at first. Drive around a bit then use the formula for threads-to-inches of adjustment on my adjustment video. They settle in fast.

So drove it a week and then I adjusted it to your measurements. Looks perfect to me, as long as it doesn't scrape on driveway it should be perfect 👌. Thanks.

Yea same here because on the faction fab sheet those numbers it sould be lower I just had them do mine and I went with max height on front and rear the rear looks so low but the front looks high I don’t get it it was lower with the stock struts?

I thought the measurement was from the center hub to under the fender. Its on their website and youtube video.

Just checked the web site. I don't remember getting that much detail in my paper instructions. My method is very close and should only be off with angle differences but go with the manufacturer's web site for starters. I wanted one dimension that I could reference to give me specific changes to make adjusting faster. It worked well enough for me. However, I plan on adjusting the spring loads a bit in the next week or two, so I'll do a follow-up video with more experimenting akd updated reference dimensions. I am always looking to make this a better car. Thanks for mentioning that and for checking out my video!

How do they ride full soft, I heard they are better than stock!

    • @MrCliffWorks

Tried full soft damping with recommended 4mm of sprung preload...felt too soft for sporty handling and floats a bit. I added 8 notches of dampening adjustment and it feels very comfortable and handles well.

I hate, HATE adjusting the rear. Hard to maneuver the wrenches, especially without a lift.

The rear is definitely a pain to do preload adjustment. You have to drop the control arm to do the height too. Fronts are easier all around.
