I really miss the Ox, such an incredible innovator. I was lucky enough to see him with the JEB in the 90’s. Fastest fingers I’ve ever seen, oh yeah! The quality of this video was less than perfect but it was great just the same! Thanks for posting!
I really liked his collections especially them guitars 👍 Everybody gotta go sometime & at least he didn't end up in an old people's home being miserable in his last days
John is gone 16 yrs today....wow remember it like yesterday..John always in our hearts.. Kenney has a new book out got to read it.. I actually was lucky enough to be at John's home in the early 90's... What an unnecessary tragedy his death was....love you John E....you are irreplaceable but Pink gets the job done and is a lovely man...
When I was a kid, I used to dream of being able to go out in my yard and hop into my Bell 47 whenever I wanted to go anywhere. Apparently, all I needed to do was to be Kenney Jones.

it's funny how you can like somebody's music until you get to know them , I guess that's why we're just suppose to use our ears when it comes to music .
@Andrew Wilson Yeah, one of the big auction houses sold them off. He owed the British tax authorities a lot of money. Townshend stated in an interview something to the effect that the first "reunion" tour they did after they broke up in the Eighties was done for Entwistles financial benefit, because he was flat broke apparently.
Fuck trumpshit and everything he says. He didn't come up with the word sad, and the only thing that makes him sad is lack of praise. Did I mention fuck him? Oh, sorry, fuck him.
I believe the story goes he died of cardiac arrest as a result of cocaine and a prostitute. Apparently he was on heart medication at the time, and his ticker couldn't take it. Not the same as a drug overdose.
I saw the first Who concert after his death at the Hollywood Bowl. They came out onstage, Daltrey and Townshend hugged, then Pete said something to the effect: "Sorry we had to postpone the concert, but bass players-- typical. "
Love the bands they’ve been in but this is horrible absolutely woefully boring monotone interaction and showing and despite there helicopters studios and millions of guitars they seem miserable

Ooh, tell us about his home in the 1990s, sounds interesting.
PINO not Pink!
For someone who apparently did a lot of cocaine, John was a remarkably mellow, subdued fellow.
Kenney Jones was awesome with The Small Faces. Great band with unfortunately a relatively small discography.
daddysensei Silver Quite a few great tunes though between 65-68...and a concept album too.
@@drummer78 Yes, the one Pete Townshend called the greatest concept album of all time!
11:45 thats the fastest ive seen john move look at him go

Interesting I wonder what his son is worth I figured I had no idea Jon ended up broke basically
You big dummy! You forgot to capitalize "of!" And "to!"" And "in!" And "is!"
Ox lived a interesting life and died exactly the way he wanted to die
Who is that on drums playing for the who? Oh it's Kenny Jones. How long was he with the who?

It would have been a much better documentary if the picture quality was decent. Terrible picture.
I have a helicopter pad too. Or a lawn as it's more commonly called.

Never said he did
Drugs have killed most of my really favorite musicians over the years. Sad...and pathetic. That is what ADDICTION does to people....DEATH.
thats what heroin does
Actually, coke.
Good job you're a perfect little example of a human being then. Lets hope you never get into anything naughty and ruin your perfect behavior record

Testify, oh righteous one...!
No .. _"John Entwistle Documentary [ Is There Life After The Who] [ 1 ] "_ ...?
Where is Part 1 ? not seeing it ...
This always made me wonder if moonie was still alive if the who would've called it quits in 82
Wow, Peter Cook made that Lightning Bass. He had a shop in Hanwell. #VaughanWheeler. #BillWilliams.
Cook built "the Axe" also.
I said never again.......but I had to Eat and Live Indoors!!!!!
Makes you wonder how much each musician makes per concert/concert tour.
Give 🎸 2 GEDDY!😂
There certainly is no money after the who..
Lifestyle's of the rich & famous !!!
He blew his fortune on collecting too much stuff.
No its true, like I said I do have a lawn
John was the supposed quiet man of the who on stage yes but off it I let you make your own minds up long live the ox
Bet these guitars where sold for a song once the family got there hands on them ?
What do you mean sold for a song? To owe it what?
Sadly..auction off to pay estate taxes...he died in debt.

His playing was so simplistic. This era of the band with KJ was as Trump would say, SAD.
Fuck trumpshit and everything he says. He didn't come up with the word sad, and the only thing that makes him sad is lack of praise. Did I mention fuck him? Oh, sorry, fuck him.

John actually playing electric guitar????
Owned a castle, but died in a hotel room from a drug overdose.

Actually, on second thought, Pete said, "Sorry to postpone the concert, but we had a problem with our bass player-- typical."
No not Pink Pino Palladino excellent musician ...
Ken helluva nice guy and a good drummer, just the wrong guy for the Who.
