...at the Vegas Hard Rock Hotel to boot. Roger said John would have been pissed the HR hotel didn't put him on display in a glass casket in the lobby. Colossal missed opportunity. RIP JAE & KJM, thanks for all the chaos and joy guys!❤❤🎸🥁
Cigarettes killed so many great people. What a travesty, frightening they're not at all concerned with how damaged their voices and throats are already.
He didn't know until after it happened and he never stopped beating himself up over it. That and losing his wife is what killed him in the end. He couldn't take it any more. Very sad story.
Rick then came CHRIS SQUIRE .... Here's the thing could John play Close To The Edge ... I miss both these guys I seen them and yourself Rick let's see Onion Tour Twice which my seats at MSG was the most exciting show ever then in my humble opinion the last Yes tour in 2004 because Steve and Chris I guess couldn't wait as Jon might of been dying but is in fact better shape now then Steve and the Jon and Rick show which was marvelous and then oh wait ABWH saw that tour yes I got to see BRUFORD with no SQUIRE sad as all hell... And the last was this show with Anderson and Rabin but Rabin's playing really went it wasn't like the 90125 days ... And the rhythm section of that band I thought was ehhhhhhhhhh....
Well, for that matter the same could be said of him when on stage with The Who just for being the anchored straight man in the eye of that rock n roll F8 produced by the other three. That requires a level of cool few reach. I just see a superbly cool, sardonic, legendary r&r bass guitarist who IMHO probably is too COOL (rather than better) for most other company (mine for sure, and I'm a pretty cool bitch!), but gives of his time regardless. And on a different note...dude just got better looking with age. Rock on JAE🎸❤

Best ever keyboard and bass players having a chat
I could listen to John entwistle all day
Thunder fingers was right up there on the top shelf.👍🥇🇬🇧🔊🏆🇬🇧🎸
This is fabulous. It's like being a fly on the wall with British rock royalty.
Joe Walsh gave him a spider as a birthday present?! That's hilarious! 😂🕷🕸
Is it?
The Greatest! RIP John...😔
Thanks Rick.
Thanks a lot.
I never thought I'd see any of this series again.
I sometimes think I dreamt it.
Such a great interview! Thank you so much for uploading it
Rick your awesomely entertaining and talented
Ox interwieved by the great Rick Wakeman? WOW!!!!!!
The Jimi Hendrix of the bass, nobody comes close.
Well, someone does come pretty close and arguably exceeds him, and Rick Wakeman is a clue...
Maybe the John Bonham of the drums, James Galway of the flute or even Jimi Hendrix of the guitar do ... 😂
John Paul Jones is better
@@babylemonade2868jones wrote amazing lines but nobody could play the solos Entwistle played
Billy Sheehan is pretty good too.
Thanks for uploading, good interview.
This is absolutely awesome!!!
sublime
Enjoyed that, I did.
Great interview
that famous red suit'
"Twist and Shout" - John used a fake name (as most rockstars do) when checking into a hotel. His name was "Tristan Shout"!
Moonie's was Rupert Wild. How apt.😂
Brilliant!! The late Kiss" Eric Carr was 'Rusty Blades"
Best bass player 👍
Entwhistle boozing up
0:28 🤣😂
John Entwistle death.
Big dose of Coke up the nose and a lady entertaining the nether regions.
Much better than a terminal cancer prognosis.
old school rock-n-roll!!!

Unfortunately in his last years he was not in the best of shape unlike how sharp he looks here.
You BETCHA l've subbed Wakey! Lord bless you!
Great burp from John at 0:28!
Ox gas explosion...
That's why it's called Gas Tank. 💨
OMG hiding in speaker cabinets.. and getting out of them by the 3rd song with bleeding ears?!?! these crazy fans must be DEAF .....
Brother Rick, was John Entwistle a "Traveling Man" also? I've heard rumors but dont actually know.
is this the full interview or has it been editied?
What year is this made?
Who's the geezer on the left?
Tony Ashton
@@TeamLuka He's shitfaced
Who’s the geezer in the middle?
Today oct 2023 I was shocked with Rick's hairdo 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
The Ox 💚
Cigarettes killed so many great people. What a travesty, frightening they're not at all concerned with how damaged their voices and throats are already.
The Ox may have been a smoker but he died in Las Vegas with a large amount of cocaine and a hooker. Very rock and roll
My wife is his best Imho
The Ox!
Moon drove over a person, killing them. What a laugh.
He didn't know until after it happened and he never stopped beating himself up over it. That and losing his wife is what killed him in the end. He couldn't take it any more. Very sad story.
Nobody's perfect
He didn't mean it.

Entwistle acts like he's too good to be in the room with these guys, and Rick seems starstruck.
It may seem like that
but I think you may be misreading him and judging him too quickly.
I think he was basically a straight forward, easy going guy.
Yeah, I’m not seeing that at all.
The guy on the left is hammered!
