I just upgraded the seats/steering wheel in mine. Also a sound system but that's not for performance. Currently I'm saving up for the sway bars but man it's such a fun car to drive. I should definitely add larger/wider wheels as well because currently it still has the stock 13" and man if you floor it on a wet day you can spin them and stay in the same place hahaha. Such a fun car to drive
Hey, I'm a new owner of starlet p8 since 2 days ago. I don't much about them but I was wondering if there was a way to upgrade the steering rack? I feel like it's too sloppy and doesn't turn enough. Would you happen to know if there's a steering rack with a smaller turn ratio from another toyota model that could fit? Thanks for your answer, from Belgium ✌️
Hey mate, I don't think there is any upgrade available unfortunately. The rack ratio on these is indeed horribly slow and not fit for any sporty use lol. The Glanza has unfortunately the same rack as long as I am aware, so there's no swap available either 😭
@@starletnights1 aah that's unfortunate. I guess we will have to fabricate something and weld new mounts and stuff for another steering rack. Find a rack that has close enough dimensions as the one for the starlet, maybe the ae86 or mr2? Look for their ratio, then adapt etc... lot of hard work but it would be nice, a world first that will help the community wordlwide

Yep these things are fun, cheap, but also indestructible! I'd definitely recommend changing wheels, it improves they way it looks too!
Your car is very nice, I have a starlet ep80, they are very fun cars to drive.
Thank you, they sure are great fun!
Wow, thanks for sharing. This is great.
Cheers mate, appreciate it 👍
Beautiful car mate !
You planning on turboing the 4efe ?
I have one as well, a 4 door EP91, but mine's Glanza swapped (4efte). It goes alright :)
Cheers bro, 4FTE is the way to go in my opinion. I do actually have some news about the car, will upload them soon :)
hi could you put links to where you got the parts :)
Thanks mate, links added in the video description!
@@starletnights1 Thankyou man love your vids! i have a little red starlet aswell
@@joshwase84 oh nice, thanks mate, happy modding then!
Where did you get the spoiler? I can’t find any
@@quack51 they are pretty hard to find, they came as an option on some cars so the easiest way is wreckers or Starlet groups/forums.
Let's see I was thinking that and search and you video pop up but in my case it's a tercel but they are very similar
Yep same chassis pretty much so these should still apply

@@leoabyssal4629 everything is possible with the right amount of determination and swearing I guess 😆
Do you still have that grey sway bar on the rack? Do you sell it?
@@SG-wp6sg sorry sold!
do you have to weld anything for the rear adjustable arb?
Nope, just drill the rails. Obviously some spot welding on top would be good to avoid cracks in the future.
what are the specs of your rims?
