    hey there bratan, may I ask what BIOS settings are absolute must with this mobo+CPU combo? I have the exact same build, everything seems to be awesome, the only things I've changed so far are a -25 all core curve+ turned on memory context and turned msi software update(or whatever it's called) off.
    Is there something else that I'd need to set for the most optimal performance?

      I haven’t had any issues with the CPU with these BIOS revisions only Nvidia GPUs and RAM. Once I found one that didn’t kick my boot from CSM to UEFI OR allowed the Nvidia GPUs to boot then AND was able to set my 7600C36 timings, I was all set

    Thanks for this! I just got my B650 a week ago. It only shows Bios Version: 1.70 => How can I know which exact number this is?
    Also why did you say MSI centre is bad? What do I need to do in regards to driver downloads if I don't use MSI center? Is it just the chipsets and Bios as you showed?
    Sorry if my questions are silly but I'm kind of a noob when it comes to this :D

      Of course you need your GPU drivers and chipset driver straight from AMD, I just updated to the newer beta Bios last week but the final released one gave me issues with my RAM and when I looked it up seems to even be gone

      That's a solid plan. Latest BIOS updates were a lot more stable when using Nvidia cards. Shoot might even drop a 9800X3D in it

    • @FIVESTRZ
      @FIVESTRZ  4 місяці тому

      If you’re using an Nvidia card you can try to see about a BIOS that allows you to use CSM. That pretty much fixes the boot not working, my decision was between that or having an issue with RAM frequency not being stable past 7200. I dropped my Radeon card in and left it at that. Try some of the newer ones but the BIOS I was on was a beta from December I believe

    • @FIVESTRZ
      @FIVESTRZ  4 місяці тому

      @@OnitsTV try the latest beta before it. I haven’t changed since I tuned my RAM and dropped in the Radeon GPU. Something is wrong with the handshake between the Nvidia GPU and the monitor/PC connection. You can actually enter your windows code and if you know the key combo (Windows+X, U, R) you can restart the PC and sometimes that catches the handshake without pressing reset button

    Hi! I’m on the v17 bios from august/23. My issue is that my ram oc might get unstable after cold boot or restart. Have you experienced this? And it might train the memory like 5-10 times correctly but eventually it gets unstable until I restart. I am thinking about switching the bios but concerned about the stability on the newer ones/that rtx problem you mentioned. Do you have any suggestions how to fix it or any experiences about the bioses? Thanks for the help! 😊💪

      I was having memory issues with most of the bios in conjunction with the RTX issue. Threw in my 7900 XTX and that never gave issue. Just updated to the new one and I’m getting errors in Karhu after about 3-5 minutes. Was stable for 45 minutes prior so 🤷🏿‍♂️ this board is not one I’d recommend after this experience. Since this is a 3rd gaming only PC it’s not that big of a deal for me. If it wasn’t I’d sell and buy a second X670-E

      @@bilbobegkills8487 I’m with ya there. Might still choose something different lol. This thing is NOT it and the first bad product I’ve purchased from MSI since getting into PCs in 2018. There have been some defective units of decent to good products but I just don’t think this was a good product given its importance to the overall build.

    Hi I just built my system yesterday but with a Ryzen 7700 and I had all the interesting stuff. Long boot times and bad WiFi connection with package loss and slow download speed. What could that be? I have fixed the boot times that’s better now but my old 6700k intel machine boots in like 5sec and this takes ages still. The WiFi is weird I have updated the bios and all the chipset things from AMD but the wifi issue stays no matter what i do. any idea what could be done there?

    How come msi center is cancer for pc? It made me do it for mystic light since my cpu fan lights need it on my b650 edge wifi board.
    I did not download all the programs and Uninstalled the ones that did slip through. Is that why or does it mess with the operations?
    Been noticing mine will do weird things once and a while and it's a fully new build back in aug/sep. Was about to update the bios too since I did a beta by mistake

    • @FIVESTRZ
      @FIVESTRZ  3 місяці тому

      It’s convenient BUT conflicts with other softwares. For example you’ll have some issues with iCue or Razer software you’re GPU or other components lights will just cut off or introduce stutter. So many little things here and there. Not to mention turning on something like a game boost can cause the CPU to overheat

    • @n8dawg727
      @n8dawg727 3 місяці тому

      @@FIVESTRZ oh wow didn't know about the cpu. I got the 7800x3d with 7900xtx. Cpu never really hit over 50ish °c si maybe iv been getting lucky than maybe?
      I definitely noticed the light the light thing though and have to restart pc n usually fixes it but I know I used the ram light and was a bit annoying getting msi to stop overtaking icue since corsair sticks.
      Now when you say stutter you mean the lights or it can cause the game/graphics to stutter? Noticing stutter when play pcvr wirlessly to headset. Pc ethernet of course but I think it's because I don't have have a high-end router. Just the 6e spectrum gave and a 5g google mesh. Not sure if you have any tips for that or if it's even related to the msi software.
      How hot would it cause the cpu to run? I don't think I use game boosters really though since both are powerful enough on their own and temps tend to stay decent since I run on air cooling. Have seen gpu hit over 70c where as like I said before cpu stays around 50 maybe 55c at heaviest but I did just recently change the gpu fan curve on afterburner software. Is that one bad too? I think it's msi afterburner can't remember at the moment
