I’m from Montana and bow hunting elk was also my passion and still is, but I haven’t been able to go back and do it for a few years so every fall I go thru hunting withdrawals.
Your channel is a breath of fresh air and I appreciate how you guys relate to people.
The closest I’ve come to calling in elk here was when I went to the zoo here in Shenzhen, China and I saw a sign that said “Wapiti’. Well I knew what those were! They looked smaller than our Rocky Mountain ones but I’m sure that’s because they don’t eat right. Antlers had been cut off the bulls, I suppose so they don’t tear the place up and because here they think antlers have many medicinal qualities haha.
So I thought I should call and see what happens. I just whistled a three note bugle as best I could and every head of the herd of about 25, swiveled at the same time and all of them ran over to the fence in front of us! A Chinese lady said, “You can talk to the animals”? Everyone was staring at me. It was hilarious. Haha

Have never commented before. But I have watched all your videos and this series is something never done before from my noladge. You boys broke the mold with this. I watch every morning after I get my boys off to school. I don't watch them at night when you post. I need something to look forward to with my morning coffee. Amazing I love this stuff. I'm from Rigby idaho and have hunted deer and elk all my life. I live for this. Love everything about it.

Love the series, I really appreciate that you guys are putting yourselves through the wringer to get these video out each day. I'm probably going to need to go into rehab when it is over and I can't watch a new one every day. How do the floorless shelters work when it's raining, snowing and blowing and what kind of sleep system do you use and how do you keep it dry when the ground is wet?

Finally got my fix... Guys can't say enough how much I look forward to each days video! Last day at work in the fire house before I leave for my hunt in AZ. Love the whole series. Me and my 2 young boys watch it every night. My 2 year old tries to bugle every time he hears one on the video. I have never been elk hunting but have plans on doing it next season and ordered some reeds and a bugle tube from you guys so I have some time to practice. I had my first Bow kill lastnight, whitetail Buck! I normally hunt with my rifle but decided I was ready for bow season. I was really wishing I had a Benchmade knife when I was skinning my deer went through 3 knives, ridiculous. Keep the videos coming keeps me excited to get out there!

Great vids as always guys. I live, Hunt and Fish in Northern Ontario. My day consists of bow Deer Hunting in the morning , work till 6pm then watch your daily videos with an adult beverage. I really enjoy your videos,because it is way different of how i hunt here in Sweden, we are not aloud to hunt with bows. We hunt mostly with help of dogs here and with shotguns. Great series guys.

I feel yer pain. We're in a rainy cycle, here in Colorado. We have more cloudy days than sunny days, it seems. It was a miserable archery season. Our boots turned into sponges. I'll be looking for better waterproof boots and camo for next year.

What a great inspiration to us armchair hunters whose season is over, watched every episode so far and now my wife is watching with me and gaining some perspective about the hunting experience! Question for you about your area selection process, I know you just throw a dart at the map, but the areas your hunting in Colorado look different than what I’m normally in. I’m generally in aspens and Oak brush and I’m not seeing that in your videos. I’m assuming that elevation is the difference, so does elevation play a role in your site selection in Colorado or all states?
