I am impressed with Wyatt. He is a very humble, patient young man. Usually youth identify a successful hunt with a harvest. I know 40 year old men who do the same... kudos to you, young man.
Wyatt is a great student and will absorb things like a sponge. He's blessed to have a great hunter as a dad. A dad that is a great hunter but still keeps things light and fun. I’m 57 and have been dreaming of going elk hunting. A buddy of mine moved to Idaho and drew a tag. Took the fight up from Nashville Tn and off we went. Both of us were avid whitetail hunters. Elk is a little different. Lol. Walked 40 miles in 4 1/2 days. Never seen or heard a thing. Last day got a little info from a local biologist found a heard of around 30 cows and one big monster bull. Had to load a boat up to reach them on a small section of BLM land. Made the move up the mountain. To our luck a dang mountain lion chased them off. Was an awesome site but no elk. Had to fly home for a week then back out for four more days. Went back to the same area we seen them before but no luck. Then again last day last afternoon we spotted a herd 2 miles away but on private. We hustled around to the other side of the mountain just as they topped the ridge onto BLM. Made the sneak to 350 yards and BINGO. wasn’t the monster we seen but it was an elk to be proud of. One thing I will say I will never complain of dragging a whitetail again. Lol. You guys make it seem so easy IT IS NOT. LOL. LOVE THE CHANNEL.
I really appreciate hearing Trent say "it's been an hour... he may be completely gone... or he could still be right there." because those thoughts are always going through my mind and it's difficult to decide what to do.
Man watching Wyatt grow up is honestly awesome. So many years of you guys is great. It's like watching my daughters with my bucks and bulls to now out walking the hills with me. Awesome memories to hold on too

The banter, joshing, daily rehash of the hunt, recipes and cooking what you are eating. I know from my hunting that part of the day is some of the most enjoyable and where a lot of the memories come from. It's the camaraderie around the fire at the end of the day where bonds are made, and is also good to show possible non hunters why we enjoy it so much and that its not only about shooting animals. Thanks for the sharing your hunt.

If You guys could just call out a name for the hunting community I would ask you to shout out Johnny and Ella. They are the ones who passed away in a car accident a few weeks back. I worked with him but I know his oldest son and widow would love to hear his name be praised by you guys. His daughter was 3 years old and such a loving human just like her dad. It was a tragic loss but throughout the company your videos keep us going and learning. He was from canby and all of our company is from the same general area. On a positive note we all love what you guys do and will never stop in his name. IN JOHNNY WE TRUST!!!
I have watched you guys from the beginning. You’ve taught me so much and inspired me to go west and hunt elk. This year was my 2nd elk hunt and I was able to call in and kill a 5x5 OTC public land diy bull with my bow. You’ve changed my life. Thank you guys for all you do!!!
