It's pretty cool that Silver Sable recruited the team by giving them business cards.
If this was done today, they'd probably form a Discord or something.
Now, let's see Paul Allen's Super Group.

I used to collect Spiderman, and Puma was my man. I loved that villain. He had a cool tie-in with Secret Wars 2.

I loved the premiere of this team. If SONY had ONE single comics fan, THIS is the team they would have been slowly committing to film. Make it comic accurate, slowly involve the villains AND villains the MCU would never use, then they would all be primed and ready to introduce or crossover into the MCU if the opportunity arises. They are SOOOOOO inept.

I know. They make their decisions based on who is already known enough to make them money rather than putting in the work to make lesser known characters popular enough to make the money. It can be done, it just takes work. There are so many opportunities

Man, I loved the days of Amazing Spiderman and Spectacular Spiderman. I didn't care for Sal's art at first, but I quickly bought in. Looking back, those years feel like a Spidey golden age.

I like the new channel symbol, another t-shirt worthy design 😎👍
Mad respect for the Maximum Carnage and Arcade's revenge background music in this vid! Did you pick both of those games because they're both Spidey team-up games?
This is EXACTLY the kind of "junk" team-up book I would've picked up and loved when I was a kid.
Junk was an adjective my older brothers used to describe team-ups of random characters. It wasn't a negative descriptor to them, it was used like junk food, something that tastes good and you enjoy but is of little to no nutritional value/ substance.
I forgot how much Silver Sable was a thing in the late 80s/ early 90s.
I would love to see the Outlaws again with a new line-up. Throw in Cardiac, Black Cat, and Norman Osborn if he's still currently a good guy in the comics.
A Scarlet Spider led version of the Outlaws back in the 90s would've been spectacular or even while Ben was the main Spidey in that late 90s costume.
Keep the Haussamania rolling and don't forget to train, say your prayers, eat your vitamins, be true to yourself, true to your country, and be a real Hauss-anadian!

Lol. I picked them because they were Spider-Man games, the team up aspect was completely lost upon me but worked out great haha. Good catch.
Thanks about the Logo....I was looking for a way to incorporate DC into it.....I like it on a whole but not sure if I'll keep using it as my profile pic.
I like the term junk for this kind of stuff......I usually call that stuff Popcorn....like it's all spectacle, just turn your brain off grab some popcorn and enjoy the ride.
I also forget how prominent Silver Sable was.....she hard her own series that ran for 30 some issues.
I agree that The Scarlet Spider leading a team like this could be awesome. I thinking Kaine less than Ben....he's got more of an Outlaw feel

It's times like this when I miss Annuals, Quarterlies, and Anthology series, because that was usually the best place to find stories devoted to lower tier characters. Back in the mid-2000s there was an over-sized bi-monthly series called Spider-Man Family that was absolutely amazing. In addition to reprints of old stories, it would have back-ups featuring Spidey supporting characters like Black Cat and Sandman, Legends of the Dark Knight style untold tales from the past, and they'd even throw in some Manga Spider-Man every once in a while. It also had that great Mike Wieringo tribute story where they adapted a Spider-Man mini-series pitch that Mike never got to do. For $5, it was more than worth the price of admission, and back-up stories featuring the Outlaws would've fit right in.

Why does Sandman have 2 real names? I googled it and I can find plenty of in cannon explanations but why did it happen behind the scenes?

    • @HaussmannComics-xd3gn

I don't know, I assume it was a writer that forgot or didn't know and just used a different name.....possibly even Stan Lee himself.
I hope to discover more details when I start looking more into Sandman, but for now I couldn't find anything

If I remember correctly, when Sandman became a good guy they said that William Baker was his real name and Flint Marko was an alias. When he went back to being a bad guy, they flipped it and said William Baker was the alias.
