The Early Evolution of The Shocker. Always a Loser?
#1 - I am always here for Hauss singing. #2 - There was a "Rocket & Groot" back-up in the 4 issue "Annihilators" mini that followed "Thanos Initiative". I THINK(?) that it both explained Rocket's space clowns and introduced the "Has it always been the same Groot?" controversy. #3 - Were Warlock's space clowns connected to the Church of Universal Truth? #4 - Starlin's cosmic stuff was always so casually weird. The art and the writing are SO FUN.
Yeah they did him dirty in the mcu
In that they underpowered him and underutilized him yeah.......he was a really fun character when he appeared though
@@HaussmannComics-xd3gn yeah if he would have had the same personality but actually like had the significance he had in the comics that would have been nice.
9:40 taskmaster is if anything a professional i guess.
One of the things I enjoy most about Hauss is how positive he is about comics I love. Even when he “has” to be negative to be honest, he’s obviously uncomfortable with it. It makes his videos fun to watch, and they will last longer than other UA-camrs who focus exclusively on things that they hate.
Thank you
Finally! THANK YOU! Hopefully for more "Who Were The Next" series!!!
Absolutely.....and there won't be months between them
The best? The only. There weren’t any other X-men side scrolling beat ‘em ups
Hahahahahaha yes that is correct
video on the shroud?
Absolutely planned, coming.....sometime
Video about first 10 new mutants?
Was planning X-force. .. .but I really should do a new mutants before that, good call
Love these videos.
Glad you like them! I love making these ones but the views don't perform well. But I'm still going to continue with the series
@ yeah sadly I noticed that. Maybe you should rename the titles? Use certain keywords to get the algorithm to recommend your video.
It's worth a shot
Omg you have the exact same opinion about long shot and mojo that I do. Don’t like mojo and probably don’t care about Longshot much because they are always associated with one another.
right on!
Can we get a video about the history of power pack?
At some point, yes
another comic from around 88 that you already knew was comedic from dc due to artwork... "Mazing Man
What about gateway ?
He never officially joined but I certainly should have at least mentioned him.......that was dumb of me
Video about Rom?
That's not a bad idea at all.
@@HaussmannComics-xd3gn he was such a integral part of the gr80s ( great 80s) and cameod with so many heroes
Oh yeah. I'm constantly surprised at how often he shows up
Fulfilling her father’s fantasy! LOL!!!
I'm extremely jealous of that blue costumed Angel bust behind you. If I could get one for me, I would pay someone to paint the blue part red and the white gloves yellow to have the Champions era Angel costume. All of those busts behind you are pretty awesome, but the opposing Cyclops and Wolverine with battle-torn costumes are my favorites after that Angel one. I don't have a dark Beast figure, but I do have that Marvel Legends variant gray Beast figure from some years ago. Gray furred Beast is my favorite version of the character, even though he only appeared that way for 4 issues of Amazing Adventures. I'm a Longshot fan. Dazzler as well. Claremont/ Marvel never really seemed to know what to do with either of them past the 80s. One of my old comic friends hated Longshot and Dazzler, but loved Gambit and Jubilee. She said they were repackaged and better marketed versions of Longshot and Dazzler. I missed out on the comic era Joseph was from, but I liked seeing someone from the X-Men wearing the yellow and blue training uniform. Had an idea. You mentioned in another video about things people say in the comments giving you ideas for videos and you wanting to credit them for the inspiration. You could start a bit called "Hausstage Exchanges" or something like that where you briefly show someone's comment and mention that it led to the idea for the video it's featured in. Makes me imagine you like when you were done up like a wrestler for your D-Man video, asorbing the youtube comment energy from all your little Haussamaniacs to further fuel your Haussamania and let it run wild.
I actually have the red version somewhere as well, though he has white gloves The Cyclops and Wolverine are a part of a diamond select Dark Phoenix set including Nightcrawler, storm, Colossus and Phoenix. The Wolverine can be placed in Comossus' hands ...it's great, I have them all but rearranged them to fit in the video ...Colossus is there too I got all of the AoA figures they did. They're awesome. I can see The comparison of Gambit and Jubilee to Longshot and Dazzler...... Claremonts entire run was so good....the more I'm reading of it now....he was constantly changing everything and keeping it fresh while doing such great character work ..it's great. I do that sometimes but I usually forget to properly credit who the commenter was...I need to be better about that...haha I could call it Stockholm syndrome or something lol
@HaussmannComics-xd3gn I googled the blue one you have and found it decently cheap. Then I saw the red variant, but the cheapest I saw it for was over $100 bucks, and I couldn't justify laying down that much coin for it. That Dark Phoenix set sounds awesome. The only characters it's missing are Avengers era Beast and Champions era costume Angel. Glad you're enjoying reading/ rereading Claremont's run. I love the Outback era because that's when my older brothers were reading their comics to me. They were simultaneously reading the Classic X-Men reprints, which is why I thought Angel and Archangel were two different characters as a kid. I was looking for a Mr. Sinister bit for years and didn't know until several years ago that it was story added to a Classic X-Men reprint. I love a lot of those added stories. One of them shows the Phoenix Force talking with Jean Grey and offering to help her, creating a copy of Jean's body as Jean withers away from radiation. Give those added stories a peak if they sound interesting to you, they're worth the effort to find and read them.
I didn't realize that the reprint era added anything new, that is interesting. Yeah, I bought a lot of busts and statues back in the day when I was a bit more.....frivolous with my spending
Yo, this hit all the right notes. 🔥Keep up the cool content. Would def like to see more on the Siege Perilous. Have you read Death Note Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases?
....... theres more Death note you say? I haven't read it....or heard of it, but I will be looking into it, thank you
I agree with your sentiment about Mojo. He is disgusting. Written well of course as intended.
That's how you know he's well written.......because you feel gross reading him haha
What if normal names as code names, like Joseph and Jean Grey, actually were superhero code names?? Like, "We have captured an X-man who goes by the mame Joseph. Our intelligence tells us his civilian name is Clyde Randolph", or something. Anyways, thanks for another Haussome episode! PS good singing
Haha that would be awesome
i already have all the achievements
Always a great boon when you’ve got a new upload
Glad you enjoy it!
Sandman's return to villainy is one of the great travesties of Marvel Comics. (and LOL at "Symkaria is a fictional country...I hope..)
Symkarians watching the video 😐
it feels SO GOOD to hear that i'm not the only one who's consistently grossed out by Mojo. I don't like his stories. I can see how cathartic he'd be for writers, but his stories are always so self-contained and depressing and quite literally alienated from ther other stories.. egh. his design and voice are annoying. also VAMPIRE JUBILEE VAMPIRE JUBILEE! After that whole rant about mojo, it's neat to find out that one of my favorite characters is.. based? on one of mojo's creations (I actually really like the original jubilee's costume), but I STILL wish to know more about vampire jubilee. did she hang out with blade?? that would be cool.
Phalanx get a lot more fun in Annihilation: Conquest.
Yay it’s been a while but glad I got the notification.
You did Boshop dirty lol.
I really did. I should have mentioned the X-traitor, his time as a Cop in M Town, chasing cable and baby hope through time.......his role in the Age of Apocalypse...... I did do Bishop Dirty
@HaussmannComics-xd3gn to be fair he really just was another time traveling big weaponed hero
this is the first time i've heard anyone mention Joseph since early 2000s when a friend of mine was telling me about the X-Men comics she was reading, and the young, supposedly sexy clone of Magneto named "Joseph" which she would say his name with heavy satirization of how pretensions it was.
Lol
I, for one, would support a "Hausstage Cut" series once you become large enough where we get all the wonderful tangents unadulterated. One of the best parts of listening to comics fans is what they choose to brush over ("took the name Revanche, cut out her robot eye, and died to the Legacy Virus") and what they choose to expound upon.
I should plan a huge video with a cardboard behind me and pictures and yarn so I can keep track of my side tangents and where I'm supposed to be talking haha
@@HaussmannComics-xd3gn Dude, that'd be so awesome! Maybe as like a 10k sub special or something? For whatever occasion, even if it's none, I'd definitely watch.
Love your videos man. I love the more niche info videos and the conciseness of them too. Waiting for a Daredevil video though!!!!!
I feel like with Daredevil Born Again on the horizon the time will be soon
Oh yeah, Here we go!!!!
"Always remember that a character you hate is probably someone else's favorite." Gail Simone has said that is one of her guiding principles in writing.
Even Joseph.
.......probably not Joseph
Every character is someone's favorite is something I try to keep in mind when making these......
I have pretty similar feelings on Longshot. I think he’s fine as a character but he always seems to come with the weirdest and most uncomfortable stories lol. It’s hard to like whenever he’s around.
right!?!?
Actually Forge's first apearance was in the ROM series.
what? Really? What issue?
Yes ROM issue 62 he actually is on the cover, that is why he fights against the Dire Wraiths, which were ROM villain when he first appaers in the X-men.
@@cavotiscomics3423 Awesome! Thanks for the info
I think those actually came a few months after his initial X-Men Arc
@@HaussmannComics-xd3gn crap you are right, by two months, you have won the nerd nit pick war for now
4:39 A video about Dazzler would be great
I seem to have forgotten about Mimic being the first Non Mutant member, but I guess he is a Mutant now, and I am informed that Longshot may also, in fact be, a Mutant.
I assume that people are reading about Ultimate Longshot--who is a normal mutant. 616 Longshot is clearly stated to be a genetically engineered alien. He isn't even in the Krakoa Protocols as a result.
New video 👍👍
As both a Cajun and a professional comic artist literally drawing an issue of Uncanny X-Men, right now, thank you for not doing a cartoony Gambit accent. Thanks for the videos, too. You do great work.
thank you. The Gambit cover for Uncanny #12 is awesome. and honestly, if it had occurred to me I probably would have done one haha
