Wolverine comes to Canada to tame a green beast destroying local towns. However, when he finds the angry Hulk, he discovers that it is not a monster that is causing destruction. The Wepon X organization is responsible for everything and wants to use him as a weapon. Wolverine sets out to save the Hulk and destroy the organization.

This movie was my introduction to Deadpool. It also showed me what Wolverine was all about. I mean I’ve known of Wolverine since I was like five, but I never knew how bloody his stories could be until I saw this.
Me too, and already this was a better introduction than X Men Origins Wolverine.

This is legitimately the first thing I ever saw Deadpool in.
Rightfully so, it put Deadpool on the map. Deadpool wasn't in movies or TV like that before this movie so Nolan North really Kickstarted everything. This whole movie is why there was such a massive push for the Deadpool game to even exist cause people couldn't get enough of Nolan North as Deadpool
Ryan should have allowed Nolan North in the movies as a big cameo, just a whole scene of him talking to videogame/cartoon Deadpool with Bolan voicing him.....I'm spruprised he hasn't done that already, even 3 movies in.

Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Nolan North as Deadpool's voice are the two most perfect castings ever.
In Saints Row IV, there was a voice option with Nolan North. I picked his voice and made my character look like DeadPool and loved every second of playing that game.

And the best part is that in SR4 you can max out every stat so you could quite literally be immortal like Deapdool

An anti-hero and villain are TWO different things. Deadpool is never really a hero and almost ALWAYS an anti-hero in every single version of him. Same goes for Wolverine.

Deadpool live action was able to gain steam due to HulkVs and the Deadpool videogame. The fact a character like Deadpool could even have his own videogame is due to the immense popularity he had due to the HulkVs movie and Nolan North's portrayal of him.
It's not anybody else's fault that you were most likely a little kind living under a rock and wasn't even allowed to watch HulkVs when it came out but the entire world fell in love with North's Deadpool and it was the first real piece of media for Deadpool on the silver screen. You attempted to rewrite history by saying the Deadpool movie is what brought the Deadpool craze when it's clear you probably didn't know Jack about Deadpool until the 2016, which is weird because Xmen Origins was out in 2009 with Reynolds being Deadpool as well.
I wish Nolan North's Deadpool had made a cameo in Deadpool and Wolverine when the Deadpool Corps are introduced. He's easily the best and most iconic Deadpool VA.

For awhile this and that ultimate Spider-Man episode were the best versions of Deadpool we had outside of comics
We had games like Lego Deadpool and Marvel vs Capcom game Deadpool where he will attack you using the UI in the games
Not to mention his appearance in Marvel Ultimate Alliance, which introduced him to a new generation of fans, myself included.

John Kassir did great, in my opinion. Until I played the Deadpool game, his voice was the one I heard when I read the comics. Nowadays, it’s more likely to be Nolan North or Ryan Reynolds.

Ah yes, this is where I met Deadpool as a character for the first time. Then I saw him in MVC3, then he got his own game, then he got his own movie.
Crazy how much better Deadpool works without the 4th wall breaking his attitude and humor is enough. Especially now that its tired since Rick and Morty made meta humor mainstream.
She Hulk and Deadpool and plenty of other characters in media were doing it before Rick and Morty. Rick and Morty were way late to the party on that
@lancekemal8989 it's different with forever franchise characters since the second a writer changes and run concludes it's pretty much a soft reboot. So current she Hulk and Deadpool are handled with post Rick and Morty energy.
Meta humour has been around since the 80's in media. Which is way longer than I've even been alive. You may have just discovered it through Rick and Morty but it's been mainstream for a long time

You're probably right, but I guess people like it. This Deadpool is closer to the original Deadpool by his creator Rob Liefeld before a lot of his humour became focused around meta humour at the end of the 90's

Now that I've followed his story, it makes perfect sense. This along with the OG Xmen movies was my introduction to the character.
