I was literally in tears, waking up from terrible leg pain in my upper thigh. I woke up screaming one night. I started researching, I wasn’t going to let this go or live like this. Hi, My kid kicked a hole in his room door. He claimed that his upper thigh had a cramp as he was walking towards door and that he started stomping his leg to stop the cramp. Ive never heard him having cramps and does his story sound normal? When ive experienced cramps in my feet I couldnt move and had to relax to make it go away. He claims his cramp was bad bad and he stomped on floor repeatedly and since his back was facing door his heel hit the door and made a hole. Does that seem like an accurate story?

When I was a young kid and I experienced restless leg syndrome at bedtime, I always told my parents that I must have played really hard that day cuz my legs just wanna keep going! Amazing 👏 I'm having this pain right now in my left leg from my waist down, disturbs my sleep most times. Thankssssss Doctor Berg, you re awesome 👌 God bless you sir 🙏 appreciate 🙏 cheers
Last Monday, I had pain leg. I felt pain from the buttock to the legs. Sometimes...I can't sit down, or/and lay down. Sometimes, it just okay to do that. The pain was come and go. In the middle of night, I tend woke up, just to ease the pain. I thought the pain was the result of heavy lifting of things that I do, but the pain was consistently occured. On Wednesday's night, I bought a Rock Melon. Never I know, after I ate the rock melon on Thursday, the pain was disappeared! I end up to google-ing the benefits of Rock Melon and I got to know the Rock Melon is a good source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Potassium. So, Dr. Berg is correct about the lack of sodium. This week I started fasting too (IF and dry fast). Probably, I went through fasting and work out without enough preparation for my body. Sorry for my terrible English. Just had a feeling to share this. Huhu!

Dr. Berg, could you please make a video on Cluster Headaches for those of us who suffer significantly from them? I know they’re rare, but medical textbooks have likened them to “bone crushing pain” and the cycles lead many people to doing horrible things to themselves because of the immense and severely debilitating pain. I myself have a diagnosis of cluster headaches. They run in my family, my mom had them and while they’re not common in women, more so in middle aged men who smoke, they are genetic. In fact my mom would get them so badly she would pound her head up against the wall to try and relieve the pressure, pain, and cramping. I’ve had cluster cycles ever since I was in high school. The only medication that’s helped is Maxalt that dissolves on my tongue and last year my cycle was absolutely horrific so I have an oxygen tank for them now and my doctor started me on the blood pressure medication Verapamil. I ask because as you would probably guess, I’m in another cluster cycle as I type… Thank you!!

I've had these. Unbearable to say the least. Few things have helped, i tried magnesium best quality, potassium, and little difference. The best results ive had is from getting my atlas adjustmented, i also am studying this to get to the bottom of it. My research is leading me to the liver as well. Neck massages and walking on the spot at the same time, deep breathing combined helps it go quicker. Have you found anything that helps?

well thats thats that no gmother info, possible wear and tear or injury... on to surgery where they put my stem cells in to encourage cartilage growth/repair: 'hallux posterior debridment w/ microfracture excision, Cheilectomy' with a 50 - 80 % success rate :( I wonder of fasting or diet will help.
just to add in, apparently their is a tiny neuroma somewhere in there as well, y niether of my drs tell me this, idk, but my paper mri i requested showed it. upon further reading, an effusion on the itp joint as well which looks exactly like where they told me cartilage wear on the 1st mtp joint, looks like a little white tab, i also have some pronation that never cause an issue. no answers on that as of yet tho.✌️
I have two herniated discs and sciatica which is very debilitating. My left leg has a lot of numbness and the right some numbness. The doctor says I need fusion surgery which I am reluctant to do. Dr. Berg's videos are very helpful. I bought one of those curved cushions to lay on to put the curve back into my spine. I discovered that when I was sleeping on my side, left and right, I was making my pain worse. One night I tried sleeping on my back and I was noticeably better in the morning. I think sleeping on my side was irritating my nerve. Just my 2 cents. It works for me.
my daughter is 5 years old and often complains about pain in her legs, especially in the knee area. she is pretty tall for her age, we think it's classic "growing pains". We try to relieve it by adding calcium to her afternoon drink. If you have any ideas or suggestions, we'd be thankful! Greetings from Austria.
Less sweets and out into the sun. My children also whined when they had a growth spurt. Me too, as a child, by the way. This is called growing pain. Just don't experiment with kids....
I do exercise without warm up and I got better performance because I listen and learn from Dr, same thing that I do HIT every week and wait until my breath catch up to do next set.
I've had a lack of vitamin D + Lyme and trying to solve leg and back muscle pain. I'm fatigued and in pain and then being sedentary is bad for my back and adds on to the leg pain. Also going to watch my B1 intake. Thank you Dr. Berg!
Hi Dr. Berg ; Hi from Connecticut ; Your video sound quality is very poor!! It's very hard to hear even on high volume. I love all your videos ❤️❤️ Thanks!!
Had heart surgery in March 2020. Due to Covid, standard follow-up and rehab wasn't available. I didn't fully recover. After the surgery, I lost the feeling in my ring and pinky fingers. Sometimes the numbness expands to feel like gloves of numbness. Also developed numbness in my toes. Since the surgery, experience ice pick stabbing pains in my arms and legs. Not fun.
Massage!!! I wish this we're talked about enough. Massage improves the flow to the area. Massage for ad long as you can handle as deep into the tissue as possible. Continue repeatedly till the numbness is mitigated. I've been dealing with exactly this since January and it's been 8 months of hell but I'm substantially better. Anti-oxidents like quercetin have bee massively helpful as well. I think you'll be surprised by what you find in doing deep tissue massage. I've noticed lots of very interesting things that would be noticed if we put more time into massage. In my opinion that's a huge aspect of health that goes almost completely unmentioned and unrecognized. It's the only thing I've found to help, no amount of vitamins or minerals have helped. They make a S shaped tool for massaging your own back, I'd highly recommend one. Overall just using own hands, a racquet ball, and the back massaging tool I've managed to regain all loss of sensation improve muscle recovery after exercise or use and no more pins and needles which had progressed to a full blown burning sensation that was excruciatingly painful.
I do the "around the world" exercise with a kettlebell to strengthen my feet. Standing with feet together, I pass the kettlebell from hand to hand in front and in back and keep it going in a circle for 20 passes, then the other direction for 20 passes. There are a lot of exercises that can be done with steel clubs and kettlebells to improve core strength. I wouldn't have known, but they're even helping my neck, with cervical degenerative disc disease.
I had the exact same experience with shoes, supports and flat feet. I was an overweight but very athletic child. I wore these monster(!) shoes with huge soles and arch supports for years! My feet were flat. I had an unrelated back injury at 22. During the long recovery from that, I found that my back felt better when I was barefoot 🤔 I wasn’t intentional at all about it… it just sort of naturally happened- but I developed arches! I kept wearing low profile shoes - back then I would get Earth shoes and wear Chaco sandals all the time. Now I can do the funny Vibram shoes if I have time to mess with those… but mostly buy Chacos shoes and sandals. My feet are strong and my back is happy. I’m going to try the shoes you suggested!! Hadn’t heard of those. Thanks as always!

Hi Dr. Berg. I want to thank you for all your videos on fasting. There is another UA-cam guy Thomas D who is not an MD and he is very wishy washy on a solid plan. He spits out vocabulary/advice acting like a nutritional guru, but I love the way you are consistently scientific. I had fatty liver and now I am in remission because of your video on fasting for 72 hours. I can fit my 32 pants and I mountain bike again. This is a 53 year old guy who was addicted to carbs and sugar in a SAD way. After all the research on electrolytes, I found your electrolyte supplement. Honestly, it is the best I have found. Rich in potassium, for those of us doing rolling 48's and 72's. It is also cost efficient, for those of us on a tight budget. I just bought your electrolyte product and I can't wait until it arrives. Thanks again for helping those of us that were off track and now we are back in our better health journey.
I'm surprised you didn’t mention a lack of potassium and magnesium as being a cause for leg pain. I’ve had a couple of bouts of calf cramps in the middle of the night and boy do they ever hurt. Would you recommend a potassium/magnesium asparate over taking potassium and magnesium separately?

Then, as an adult, it was because of my collapsed disc at L5-S1 rubbing against my nerves that was the cause.
Thank you so much for this video. I'm not sure if my pain is from my leg or back.. .I just know that there is pain. Yes I have arthritis in my knee so it could be that. I'm definitely going to watch some of the other videos you suggested. Thank you for sharing
Yes. Also some of his videos on arthritis can help reduce pain.
Huhu!
I have been following you for quite a while & I've been able to tell my Doctor what is wrong with me, as I've said am in the process of leaving my Doctor all the way from Northern Ireland God bless you 🙏👍
Thank you Dr.Eric Berg for the accurate information. May God continue to bless you.
Good morning and thankyou Doctor Berg you are so good always perfect timming! All my issues started after I ran a 10 K marathon, somebody said to me it is build up of lactic acid did not know what to do for that! I have knee pain in my left foot tight ankle and calves in both feet. I had a sciatic nerve flared up worst pain ever! People said to see a Chiro doc for it but I am afraid do not know if it will help! Thankyou for all your wonderful and helpful videos! May God bless and protect you 24/7 daily!❤🙏🏻
Dr Berg made earlier videos on each of the subjects you mentioned here.
thanks a lot for all videos you been doing, and allowing translations for your videos to so many languages especially Arabic for the great benefits for all those countries who are listening
Fountain of knowledge ........Blessings and appreciation from Sydney Australia .
I ask because as you would probably guess, I’m in another cluster cycle as I type…
Thank you!!
I'm so sorry you have to go through that. Sounds so awful. I hope you get the help you need.
Hi Danielle. I keep trying to send you this long comment on my..... migraines. And it keeps being deleted. If you respond I will try again, in some kind of c..o..d.. e have a great weekend
I cannot get anywhere near my phone when I have a migraine. The audio, glare, and news are too painful, lol
@@holistichealthcoachgreenhe9363 when I try to say what helped me it deleted my comment. Wth. Maybe because I said where I get it from.
Thanks Doc.Can you do a video on PILES.medication and home remedies please.

Would love for you to cover this in terms of prolonged fasting, Dr. Berg! Thank you so much! Been dealing with lower hip and leg pain and just wanted to understand why but can’t get a clear answer on why this is happening. Thanks again!!! 😊
Thank you Doctor Berg for great video, God bless you.
Thank you / wow I'm going thru all this leg pain ( left left I'm not overweight..I have to take back and body ache aspirin to com it down Thanks again doc * you saved the day 🌻
Thanks Dr for helpful information for us to help relieve leg Pain!
I'm glad it helped you!
well thats thats that no gmother info, possible wear and tear or injury... on to surgery where they put my stem cells in to encourage cartilage growth/repair: 'hallux posterior debridment w/ microfracture excision, Cheilectomy'
with a 50 - 80 % success rate :(
I wonder of fasting or diet will help.
just to add in, apparently their is a tiny neuroma somewhere in there as well, y niether of my drs tell me this, idk, but my paper mri i requested showed it. upon further reading, an effusion on the itp joint as well which looks exactly like where they told me cartilage wear on the 1st mtp joint, looks like a little white tab, i also have some pronation that never cause an issue. no answers on that as of yet tho.✌️
Life changing information about legs for all. Thank you.
Glad it could help!
Dr.Berg is the Best. I thank you so very much for sharing your help with humanity. God bless you!🙏🏼
Thank you so very much for all of your videos. They are absolutely so very helpful and explained with perfect understanding. 💖
Great 👍 Also he made videos on herniated discs, on sciatica, numbness, ect that should help.
my daughter is 5 years old and often complains about pain in her legs, especially in the knee area. she is pretty tall for her age, we think it's classic "growing pains". We try to relieve it by adding calcium to her afternoon drink. If you have any ideas or suggestions, we'd be thankful! Greetings from Austria.
Calcio no, es un error, magnesio y vit d más k2
Calcium is not a good solution. Calcium would probably just end up binding with other nutrients that could be better used.
Berg says in the video that it's vitamin D deficiency.
Less sweets and out into the sun. My children also whined when they had a growth spurt. Me too, as a child, by the way. This is called growing pain. Just don't experiment with kids....
Had Osgood-Schlatter disease as a child. Any pressure on the knees was/is excruciating. At 70, still can't kneel without knee pads...
I do exercise without warm up and I got better performance because I listen and learn from Dr, same thing that I do HIT every week and wait until my breath catch up to do next set.
Thank you! For your time Dr. Berg.
Happy to be of help!
Thanks doc. For no.3 - what do you recommend as treatment or how does one fix this! Thanks
I've had a lack of vitamin D + Lyme and trying to solve leg and back muscle pain. I'm fatigued and in pain and then being sedentary is bad for my back and adds on to the leg pain. Also going to watch my B1 intake. Thank you Dr. Berg!
Hi am having some case like your now getting stress what wl I going to mine is both legs with deep vein
Hi Dr. Berg ;
Hi from Connecticut ;
Your video sound quality is very poor!! It's very hard to hear even on high volume. I love all your videos ❤️❤️
Thanks!!
So so informative as always, will pass it on to my friends, thank you 🙏 so much Dr Berg Your videos are top class 👍
Thank You Dr Berg for great video with important pertinent information
Thanks for this video dr berg , great video, Im suffering from knee pain almost for a month now, I never had this kind of pain before, Im 30 and I a little worried about it, at night sleeping, its a worse, my L knee and goes down to my ankle, its a weird pain, uncomfortable that doesn’t allow me to sleep well and I need to change position, I really appreciate an advice! Thanks
Better check with an ortho n physio. Mostly knee pain in this age z due to muscle weakness n gets better with physiotherapy.
Thank you for this...i have developed pain down my left thigh for a few weeks now
You're very welcome.

Oh wow! Thanks for your wonderful comment.
Doc you just came in time! I have been checking if you have done a video on knee pain. Thanks for coming through!
He’s made quite a few videos on knee pain.
Been following, thank you Dr from zambia Africa 🇿🇲🇿🇲🇿🇲
My case of knee pain ( sometimes), is either over training and/or long hours standing to do hard work. I think, rest enough, no alcohol, stretching… can help.
Yes. Some of his videos on knee pain may also help.
I used to think it was a good thing that I have shiny and hair free legs, but now I realise it's connected to my poor blood circulation. I have immense leg pain that keeps me awake at night
Hello Dr. Berg !! Thank you this video is soo hopeful because my leg pain can get bad. But I watched your video on DVT (by the way I went ER because I was worried, and I was told i just had vericose veins that's it :). This video definetly helped !!! 😃 😊 I just need to be consistent with applying, I'm starting not to like carbs.
Thank you Doc, more information to share please.
Hi Dr.
Thank Dr you had RLS I have it all life and no other doctor was able to help me.
Ive had knee and leg pain since childhood. This was interesting to watch.
Always such quality while maintaining quantity! Keep up the great service Dr Berg and his team 🙏💚🙂
I feel Dr Berg is legit a psychic. I couldn't sleep last night due to leg pain and here is Dr Berg posting a video on it. 🙂
Love you Dr Berg!!❤️❤️❤️
my cat loves u too🐱♥️♥️♥️
Thankyou very helpful information
Greatly appreciated!
Hey doc, your video volume is so low, can you fix this in future videos? Thanks for all of your hard work.
