    Really good review, you nailed the good and the bad with this mouse.
    And you mentioned a couple things I really wished they tried to improve in the C version: the clicks and the mouse running into the meaty side of your palm. It's why I prefer the Viper now, even that shape is flatter and not quite as comfortable as the FK2.

    as you noted no contact in the middle of the hand only on the sides, that is why it is my favorite mouse for my claw grip, its shape and low profile, range of flicking and readjustments are so easy.
    i wish there was a top wireless alternative with exact same shape characteristics and less stiff shell!!

    I'm really sad they didn't make the clicks lighter. It's the main reason I stopped using my fk2 after 6 years of use.

    I freakin' love you reviews! You are comming to the points i miss so hart with other reviewers. Maybe because they are not that competetive inspired regarding their choice of mice. You are always going into detail why you think you play better with that exact mouse and this is gold to me. I watch nearly every good Mouse Reviewer out there and fell in love with you channel.
    If I understand you correctly you currently many the s2-c. Would you tell me exactly why you prefer it over the zygen in game? What makes you more comfortable with it? I currently play the Logitech Wireless Superlight and am happy, but not satisfied completely. Maybe due to the shape. But i looove the wireless feeling. Would you think it is worth it to go back to a better shape but wired for the performance?

      My mouse control is better with the np-01s because of the thinner grip, lower button height, and side curves locking my fingers in. The only downside is that it can get a little uncomfortable because of how aggressively I tend to grip it. The s2-c on the other hand is super comfortable because of how neutral and balanced the shape is. It feels like it blends into my hand more when I use it in game while the np-01s always feels like I'm using a tool. This more effortless feeling is really nice and allows me to focus more on what I'm doing rather than using the mouse, which is why I tend to prefer it. Both are great options, though, and I'm confident with both. They just have a different feel and I find the s2 shape to be more conducive to consistent in game performance.
      I feel similarly about the gpx. It's so close to being perfect it's frustrating. The potato is too safe to feel like I ever have good mouse control with it but the performance of lightweight wireless is insane and I still play well with it. I think shape is king for consistent aim but it's hard to say if it would be worth it to give up lightweight wireless because of how nice it is. No cable eliminates variables and the low weight is hard to give up. I still consistently use the gpx, but I do prefer mice with better shapes because I tend to choke less and get more consistent results when I'm using something less clunky feeling than the potato. If you want to dip your toes back into wired mice, I would recommend the s2-c. The shape is reminiscent of the gpx, just with a more pronounced hump and thinner grip width. I find these small differences lead to more consistent feeling mouse control.

      @@KraftyCraftKraf Thank you very much for the detailed explanation! I will think about getting a s2-c. So sad they dont make wireless mice. But first i will try to get the starlight phantom. I am a bit hesitant because of the holes on the sides, but griptape will fix that. But anyways a bit uncool for such a expensive mouse. I am also a bit sceptical about the height. But Tenz likes the stalrlight medium, and he also likes the s2, so maybe i feel what he is feeling with it. But it will be hard to get one i guess :D

    • @KraftyCraftKraf
      @KraftyCraftKraf  2 роки тому +1

      I'd love to try a medium starlight phantom. I don't enjoy holes either. I'd rather they add a few grams to make solid sides, but it might be able to combine that gpx magic with an actual mouse shape, so I'm still optimistic. I just don't know if it'll even be worth it to try to get one again with their drop system.

    Your reviews are great you go into so much detail about contact points and grip, keep the up the great work. Do the buttons feel and have the same travel as the EC3-C

    • @KraftyCraftKraf
      @KraftyCraftKraf  2 роки тому +1

      No the ec3-c buttons are much lighter with a little more travel. They are much more satisfying than the fk2-c and feel more responsive.

      @@KraftyCraftKraf thanks for the reply any idea of the viper ultimate wireless or duck feather feel like the ec3-c?

    • @KraftyCraftKraf
      @KraftyCraftKraf  2 роки тому +1

      Those mice won't feel anything like the ec3. Both of them are fk style shapes that would feel most like the fk2-c. The ec3 is a pretty unique shape and even the ec2 doesn't feel that much like it. I haven't tried them yet, but the skoll mini from gwolves and steel series prime mini seem like the closest options.

      @@KraftyCraftKraf sorry when I meant feel I meant the feel of the buttons, I recently brought the ec3-c and I loved the travel and the clickly feel of the buttons. But I found the hump a bit high coming from a g pro wireless so I'm looking fk shape with the ec3-c button feel. Maybe I should of given the ec3-c more time....

    • @KraftyCraftKraf
      @KraftyCraftKraf  2 роки тому +1

      Ah okay. I would recommend the np-01s then. It’s like an fk with a lithely larger jump but still very low profile. It’s buttons are incredible and second only to the outset ax for me. If you like the ec3-c buttons, the no-01s should feel really good, albeit slightly stiffer.

    Great reviews man, love that you take the time to explain the shape so well.
    Hey, my hand size is 18/10 cm & I have a relaxed palm grip. Should I go for NP-01, S2-C, or S1-C?
    I would love anything that supports the lower-mid part/thumb of my palm but I really don't like ergo mice shape. Thanks.

    • @bluesky7768
      @bluesky7768 2 роки тому +2

      s2-c tbh

    • @KraftyCraftKraf
      @KraftyCraftKraf  2 роки тому +2

      s2-c would be the safest option. It's a pretty neutral shape and I think it'd be the right size for your hand. The np-01 could be a good option for what your want as well. It has an aggressive flare on the thumb side that could offer more support for the meaty part of your thumb as well as a curvy hump that fills out more of your palm. It does have a little bit of an ergo feel so that might throw you off, but the flat top prevents it from having that fully ergo, ec2-esque feel.

    • @KraftyCraftKraf
      @KraftyCraftKraf  2 роки тому +1

      It's absolutely not worth $350, it's impossible for a mouse to ever be, but it's still easily my favorite mouse to use. The only reason it's not my main is that it takes a long time to adjust when using different mice because of how unique it is. If you want a unique experience and price is no option, I would say go for it. The m2k offers you an experience that nothing else can and it feels so rewarding to get good with. However, be aware that you are just burning money and you are not getting $350 of mouse.
