Mixed feelings on the first case. She isn't a stable mother. Leaving your kids with a neighbor that isn't staying right there is scary. She is also very angry and hurt. He shouldn't be dealing with someone so young. Someone needs to explain birth control to him because there is no way he is supporting 13 kids adequately, nor can he give them the attention that they need.
She trusted the neigbor tho, she couldn't have know that the neighbor could have left. He is a narcissist. I know ehat it looks like and i promise you, he's worse behind closed doors

Not gonna lie felt slightly staged to me. Never felt that way with this show but this episode just felt off. It was almost like the mom was guiding the not dad with his answers at points. Her emotions changed real quick when any of his answers veered away from hers her crying stopped real quick to pinch in and fix his answer. He would just shake his head and agree lol. Maybe to save themselves some embarrassment from being on live T.V or for their daughter's sake or both lol.
I'm thinking now the 1st mom isn't emotionally stable and threatened violence and denying him because he broke up with her. She's a woman scorned.

1st case- While the mother does seem immature she also seems to have some trauma. There is something about the dads behavior and their interactions that make me think she is telling the truth about his emotional abuse. 13 kids and you hyperfocused on these 2?? It seems a little bit like it was about hurting her.

Look at it like this you asked a neighbor to watch you kids in ur house for 10 mins while you went to a corner store while the kids are asleep… you get a phone call saying you ex kidnapped your kids while you were gone …the neighbor went downstairs because they forgot she left something on the stove he snuck in her house to take those kids …. That’s definitely an abusive relationship… he is a narcissistic sociopath
The crazy thing is in the first case, no one sees that there's something wrong with the man with the 13 kids. He has a narcissistic controlling personality and uses his kids to control the women. You can see it in his body language and the way that he talks. She even stated that he acts superior. He is toxic. You have to pay close attention to people like that.

Growing up living with a narcissistic dad, i understand how she feels. Her only escape was for those kids to not be his, but it seems hes got his hooks in her for a very long time and the way he beamed at the end and looked at her was just sickening. 13 kids and nothing wrong with that? how many women did he sleep with for that to happem.... sickening..

The man in the second case keeps blaming his lifestyle for not being there for his kids. Unless he was military, that is not an excuse.
He also said he was selfish and put himself first and was not fully formed as an adult he didn’t make any excuses he told the truth and the child wasn’t even his in the first place.

Your comment was the only one I've seen so far with that point of view. The first boyfriend I had when I was 21 yrs old was like that. He was also abusive. After I got the courage to break up with him, he harassed me until I was 28 yrs old.

1st case is crazy. She can't keep kids away from the dad out of fear he'll get custody because she was unfit abandoning them. He should have kept them at that moment and gone to court. He would have won custody and she would have gotten visitation probably supervised. Why wait this long? He's the legal father regardless. He's a good man but she's defaming him because he wants custody. She has no right to keep those kids from having any father because she doesn't want a man. She has just proved in this court she's not emotionally stable

The first woman no matter her tears I don't feel sorry for at all. She knows he is a good man that doesn't want her but wants his kids. She basically lied and said he was not the Dad but since he has money and she knew he would take care of their children AND was taking care of her she allowed him to stay and yet slept with other men. With as much as she hates him she could have been trying to throw a tonne of accusations about his parenting out there (which given the results and his resolve to gain full custody, I wouldn’t put past her as her next move). And yet she flat out admitted she put his name on the BC because she knew he’d be a great father. I am not doubting that he made some big mistakes in their relationship. However, as my original point stated, some people (more women than men do this) choose to be vile to their exes out of spite, hurting their children THE MOST in the process, rather than putting their own wants and feelings aside. They (she) DELIBERATELY CHOOSE to harm their children in extremely damaging ways rather than do what’s right and best for their children. It’s selfish, sick, and WRONG. How can he be “taking care” of these twin girls when he is paying child support for 11 others?.. (IF HE IS) …And he wants to be there for his kids and see them do “everything”? 13 dance lessons, ball games, recitals, school programs, dental and doctor appointments, school shopping, jumpy houses, roller skating, and ANY other activity normal kids do. He lives a fantasy. He would have to make a million dollars a year to support that many kids…and that’s a minimum. More government kids…geez….

That statement was getting on my nerves as well, but you can’t judge a man until you’ve walked in his shoes. He at least took accountability and seems to want to do and be better. I used to be a harsh critic like yourself but as I’ve got older I’ve realised being a human can be difficult and our simple actions can have deep deep implications.
