The details i liked about this teaser: 1. The contrast between the sheer show of force the brotherhood are displaying with the heavily armored troops and power armor units, againts the lightly armored and stealthy NCR recon units. 2. The cape on that first Brotherhood Paladin was absolutely badass. 3. The way you gave the power armor this weighty animation that signify just how powerful they are. I can't wait for the WIP videos! (If you plan to make them that is!)

Pretty sure Veronica's parents died long before Helios One. She tells you they both died defending some place no one remembers now and that it must have seemed important only at the time.
This video I think focused only Helios One War. This way is better than giving non-canon information about fallout lore even seeing this war in animated way that's what I want.
We need more animators like Sodaz that has the passion, skill and the will to study the universe of every game requested into a animation unlike the live action adaption that disappointed many fans in the past.
Power armor should feel this big in every adaptation of fallout, and Bethesda needs to stop being cowards and add cloth adornments to power armor. The concept artists of every game make awesome concepts for it, but they never get those designs into the final products

Looking forward to seeing how basic infantry deals with power armor and lasers. Is this going to be a grinding siege where the Republic sends in waves upon waves of conscripts, or a lightning-fast raid using their best troops? Or a room-to-room brawl? All three? This can go so many ways. Also, I like that the infantry on both sides have rucksacks and the contrast with how much the Brotherhood carries compared to the NCR infantry.
Well via the in game lore they just threw more bodies than the BoS had munitions. Top that of the NCR is very similar to a normal military who definitely have means of tank busting. In lore though the BoS was outmatched roughly 100 troopers to every 1 Knight/paladin.

The battle for Helios One was said to be a big loss for the brotherhood of steel in the Mojave where the BOS was outnumbered from 1 to 10 favoring the NCR so I'm excited how Sodaz represents the NCR infantry and Rangers. NCR are not to be underestimated.

My god this is exactly how a power armor should sound like. It's got Mass, but not so much that it sounds like it's been bass boosted. And the animation! The sand, wind and moving of the clothing look Amazing!

Honestly loving the contrast of F4 power armour with F3/NV combat armour. WHile I enjoyed F4, there wasn't a huge amount I felt it did substantially better than the previous 2 titles, however power armour was one of them.
Agreed. Power armour in 3 and NV wasn't anything particularly special, aside from the perk requirement needed to equip it. You could be forgiven for forgetting that you're even wearing it if you stick to first-person. In 4 and 76, power armour is a much bigger deal, even if it's much more common. You can truly feel the difference that wearing it makes in combat.

They’re basically isolationist religious fanatics that hoard technology and leave the rest of the wasteland to fend for themselves. For all the NCR’s faults, there’s a stronger argument to be made that they’re more like “the good guys” than the West Coast BOS
Looks fantastic, very excited to see how this progresses. A small critique, if you're looking for any input: The power armor at the start seemed far too heavy. The animation on the character seemed fine, but the amount of camera shake and the sound made it seem like the armor weighs five tons. I think Fallout power armor isn't supposed to weigh much differently than Halo's Mjolnir armor, and notably, the T-51 power armor uses lighter weight composite materials, rather than pure metal. Expanding on that, Fallout power armor uses mechanical servos and hydraulics for movement, which makes it far less than silent just from moving an arm or lifting a leg. This is in contrast to Mjolnir which is virtually silent as it uses piezoelectric crystal to move the suit. So, I think a little less with the stompy-stompy, but perhaps add some mechanical whirring when joints are moved.

I like how the skull is crushed like it's made of paper, show just how heavy the power armor is. This is even better than the skull crushing scene of Terminator.
could be cool if we can get to see some Vet rangers abusing AMR rifles and some early NCR vertbirds. At that point in lore the NCR should have a few in its arsenal after raiding Navarro but they would absolutely be manned by rookies pilots, which mean they would be as effective as the ones in the random encounters of F04 (firing on the ground with stupid angles, awkardly drop some troops on the ground, and then spin until they get destroyed).

could be cool if we can get to see some Vet rangers abusing AMR rifles and some early NCR vertbirds. At that point in lore the NCR should have a few in its arsenal after raiding Navarro but they would absolutely be manned by rookies pilots, which mean they would be as effective as the ones in the random encounters of F04 (firing on the ground with stupid angles, awkardly drop some troops on the ground, and then spin until they get destroyed).
