- This project will atempt to make the Fallout New Vegas power armors to look, work and feel, as close as posible, like Fallout 4 power armors. It will also have the proper open/close animations.

hypothetically if you were to equp the armor would there be a power armor HUD?
@@maxinepricefieldI would like it had a different HUD, but I would need someone in the team with experience working with HUDs and advanced scripting skills.
@@amaccurzero I am very sure that this would be possible if you form a team, if frontier managed to create functional vehicles this should also be a reality
@@rafinbruh Yes, it is possible. But I can't do it alone. I need a team. My skills are based on animating objects, textures and materials. I need people with better modeling and scripting skills than me.
@@amaccurzero u could try contacting contacting Anro19 on the nexus, he has done some great stuff on UI and HUD and is very active as well.
Fallout New Vegas really is the forever game and it's all because of the community. Talented modders like you are the reason this game will never die.

This plus Titans of the New West 2 and we fully have Fallout 4 esque power minus the stupid fusion cores. Amazing.

I know I’m months late and this is probably updated a bit more. But I’d happily have just that in my game. The beauty of just seeing it open and close.

even though this project is in the early stages the fact that this has been implemented into the older fallout games is amazing enough amazing work.

This looks like an amazing alternative to Titans of the West. For some reason it's bugged for me since the pip-boy glove is still on my character.

This is basically the Fallout 4 Power Armour but being made in the Fallout 3 version of the engine. (New Vegas was on Fallout 3's engine.)

Yeah, actually the idea of making power armors like external armors for FO4 was the best idea.

Oh yeah. My favorite power armor mechanic. Will it be a different size scale than the standard character model, like 1.1 or 1.2?
1.2 or 1.25 probably.
DAMNNNNNNNNNN, now that makes new vegas one of the best fallouts ever, now how would the dead BOS paladins armors function? Would Ncr salvaged power armor just be a normal piece of armor now?
So far, I am only working on the t-45b. Once I can make it completly functional, I will extend these features to the t-51b and remmants power armors. NCR salvaged armor is not included in my plans.
@@amaccurzero And it shouldn't, as it's just power armor plates slapped in some kind of jumpsuit so they don't fall out, no servomotors, no Power, just armor, but how would dead enemies overall be with their power armor in this mod, would it be like in fallout 4 where you can get the plates and put it in a frame?
@@terrariangolden6985 No. It will be an entire power armor. Alhough it will have repairing options since you can't carry it in your inventory. There is a lot of work yet, my friend. That's why I need a team for it.

Why not import the models from fallout 4 and replace the fallout new vegas power armor completely, then work around the new power armor, create animations and etc, granted I don't know much about modding, even if you couldn't snatch models from fallout 4 directly, you could still snatch from a 3d model website probably
I don’t know if this is sarcasm; but I think you really undersell hard it is to day anything you just requested for a Triple A company, nonetheless one guy.
Not to mention nexus will be on the mod Dev ass if the mod use asset from a different game
If this mod were a complement for Titans of the new west it would be even more beautiful although I would like it to upload a version for the vanilla game and one for Titans

couldn't you just wholesale rip out the asset from F4 and paste it in NV? it should be possible to just have the animation and model without all the extra effort of scaling the old armor
I can't use FO3 assets in NV. Nexus policies. Either way, the beauty is being able to make it possible with the NV engine.

Fallout 4 maybe an awful Fallout but the changes por the power armor were great (except for the awful fusion cores)
