The NCR is barely above WW2 in many ways, using semi-automatic rifles mainly and very limited armor but have insane numbers. Look forward to see how the battle plays out, to see Elijah's fall.
Honestly, it is suppose to be the NCR that is the actual, legitimate army. The brotherhood of New Vegas is essentially militant tribe, not a civilization. The NCR is a civilization, that is able to afford the logistics and equipment of a standardized Army. The Brotherhood lost because they are essentially a bunch of raiders with high tech weapons and armor without any actual military structure. They can deal a lot of damage, especially to other raiders, but they cannot win against an actual military like the NCR. I hope they show that the NCR themselves have more than just assault rifles, they would have explosives, grenade and rocket launchers, anti material rifles, and heavy machine guns which can pose a threat to power armor.

They also do not have the innovative, constantly-changing spirit of the US Army which was why they failed to adapt adequately to the Legion and the Fiends too, having their best guys - the Rangers used as glorified bodyguards for brahmin barons while the Legion made constant incursions into their territory - letting fucking Nipton burn right in front of them at the Mojave Outpost and hell, they don't even have a counteringellience unit that could act against Vulpes' Frumentarii which had penetrated them so deeply that Hsu - one of their best guys couldn't figure out who the spy is on his own without delegating the task to one of his subordinates which he suspect is already compromised thus needing the Courier, a literal outsider to do his job for him or even the many quests required by the Courier to curry favor with the NCR. If the Courier wasn't here for the NCR, they would've lost the Second Battle of Hoover Dam but inflicted a lot of casualties for the Legion and pulled back or at least get into a stalemate due to salvaged ex-Brotherhood power armors from Operation Sunburst for their heavy troopers and so much more factors going in their way which once again would leave the faction in a precarious position where the draw is seen as a victory and give the politicians more excuses for complacency. While I agree that the NCR needs to be shown using more than assault rifles as the threat of power armors will force them to do so but that doesn't mean anything when this is a fanmade animation and in lore, they are a faction that is mired in incompetent leadership and corruption which would be reflected in the animation itself given how SODAZ often wants people's opinions on how something works. That said, the NCR isn't bad militarily but for now, it is definitely being portrayed extremely well with some of its inadequacies in my opinion.
Probably possible locations where the Brotherhood might use as a holdout. Hidden Valley is probably still hidden to the NCR, with the dust storms and seemingly empty bunkers.
