I got fired from a job for a random test that included THC in Florida. My manager went out of his way to fist bump me after the district manager inspected my work the day i got tested, the day before i got fired. I talked to someone from HR before i got my MMJ card, and they said i would be fine. Turns out that wasn't true. I didnt have a record of who/when i talked to this peron, but ive been wondering for 2 years about whether i had any recourse. Thank you for this.
Man that's such B.S. that happened to you. These stupid drug tests for employment are and always have been a serious invasion of our privacy that shouldn't be taken lightly or condoned by society like it has been for decades. People should be in an uproar about it. That is, in most contexts...I certainly don't support people actually being high at work or while operating machinery while high, etc. But personal use in the privacy of your own home on your own time is not your employer's business *_at all._* Yet I can go home and drink a 5th of whiskey and a bunch of beer and not have to worry much at all? Now that's absolutely ridiculous! Employment related drug testing that discriminates against using cannabis in the privacy of your own home is basically a violation of our 4th amendment rights, and more people need to be aware of that and make our voices HEARD against this crap.
In Washington there are many companies that do not Test for THC due to it being legal. However, there are still companies that have Veteran owners that do not allow applicants with THC still in their system through company policy. Now in Texas, THC is still illegal but there are Delivery Service Providers that DO NOT test for THC and you'll still get the job as long as you don't have the other stuff in your system illegally.
If a company has offices around the country but I’m going to work at a location in CT do they have to follow the CT laws, as in they can’t discriminate solely on thc
My daughter was in a car accident and opted to take CBD products in lieu of opiates. She went and got home test for THC and they're coming back positive she's devestated. She only took one at night so she could rest. Now she has an opportunity to work at an elementary school and she's freaking out we're here in Florida. I mean I think honesty is the best policy here it wasn't anything illegal she bought them at Publix of all places. She doesn't even drink alcohol or do any other medications at all. Any suggestions for her? She's mortified.

Why does the amount ingested not seem to be a factor in how long it takes to get clean. I use very low THC 3:1 cbd:thc and only use very small amounts for inflammation when i do use. I don't take enough to "get high" but everything that I've seen, including your responses to different comments in UA-cam, suggests that the low dose doesn't help me in cleaning it out of my system much faster than if i smoked a ton. Am i missing something?

I currently work as a diesel technician. My pre employment test was “non-DOT” would they be allowed to fire me in IL if I test positive? I’ve asked HR anonymously and they said they do test for cannabis and also do random drug test. but the fact that my pre-employment test was non-DOT has me confused?
How long do you think it’ll take me to get clean for someone underweight I’m 6’4 168lbs & inactive at the moment? And yes btw I know I’m not at a healthy weight for my height.
Hey doc, I’m testing negative on a 50 ng cutoff at home test but still coming up positive for return to work duty test with a 17 ng cutoff what should I do is it just a waiting game or is there anything I can do to speed up the process?
@@miker4671 doesn’t work man that’s how I got in this situation in the first place. I’ve used quick fix before and been good but this last time didn’t work. They tested it right away and said I had abnormal proteins in my urine. They gave me the option to send it to the lab still and I said yes and still came back abnormal. Every drug test I do now is supervised and they make me do everything, the drop your pants and do a 360
.01 thc in your boc will give you 3 days in jail 17 months lost of DL n 27 months with a interlock device n u are really screwed in Potter county Pa and if u have copd u are totally screwed iam 1 n i havent touched a drop of achol n have copd cant breathe so i get 27 months on a 1 yr sentence on a suspended regeristration n when getting a dui i used in a legal state 33 hrs before but this is satans country oh thats rt i meant Gods country but rules are satanic
