A Free man doesn’t need permission.
This guy gets it!
You won’t be a freeman if you get busted. You will be a felon.
A fellow libertarian i see
😊Hold the line Men, Hold the line
Sure get caught and go to prison and take on a new title as felon.
I've never used marijuana, but I'm in favor of full legalization and regulation similar to alcohol and tobacco. I don't love the Schedule III ruling, but it's a step in the right direction. Others have compared the recreational states to what we saw with Prohibition, and I find it very apt.
I tried marijuana in my teens and did not like it but I think it is a great ideal that it is being rescheduled. Alcohol causes more damage to society and health than marijuana.
Amen to that. I been a bad alcoholic for 20 yrs and switched to marijuana to save my life and now I have an unexpected drug test coming for new employment. Trying to better my self and might not get the job and lose my apartment just because i ate a few gummies while on vacation. Makes no sense.
We don't need rescheduling we need desheduling!
Oral swab defeated via mentos & redbull
The only thing I want to know is will my medical insurance pay for the cannabis prescription.
They can’t pay for it now because it’s a schedule 1. But when it’s moved to a schedule 3 they will be legally allowed to pay for it. But will they?
I work for railroad, but no not drive the trains but do sometimes fall under hours of service. Thoughts?
Thanks for this channel I’m glad I found you
If you would need a prescription for weed, wouldn't it then be a felony to get caught with weed without a prescription?
I would assume that if you're in a state where it is not recreationally legal.
In Texas medical MJ is legal. But if you get caught with a THC vape cart you are going to jail and will be a felon. FACT
I read that over 1 Oz and under 200 grams is a felony 2-5 yrrs and I think 1000 fine. Over 200grams is punishable up to 99 yrs and 50,000 fine. There's a few different sentencing guidelines in there but thats what I can remember from the article. Either way, I believe it's just another way to create felons and strip 2a from the ppl.
Thank you one more time Doctor
welcome
What about drug testing for federal employees
That’s what I would like to know. Also, DOT jobs.
He talked about that in other videos
Your videos are very informative!
My apologies, if you’ve already answered this question in another video. How do you think the new rescheduling will be received in states that have banned marijuana both medically and recreationally? Will those states be forced to allow the use of medical marijuana, through prescriptions? Or, could they still oppose the use of medically prescribed marijuana?
you will likely be able to obtain it legally in all states
So does mean with a commercial license you can get a prescription and be ok?
Hey first thanks for the video!
I had a question that I can’t seem to find an answer for. Do you know of this will protect employees who have a prescription?
It'll have to. The sole reason it currently doesn't is because it's a schedule 1 drug. When it becomes S3 It'll be no different than being prescribed opioids or steroids
I have been trying to find the answer to that question since they announced the rescheduling. No one knows it seems. If you find out please let me know!
Does this rescheduling mean that future CDL holders will be legally allowed to use thc if they have a medical card?
You can't get a medical card and have cdl license I don't believe. I may be wrong but I don't think so.
Would I be able to make mariguana alcohol. Legally???
What does that mean for forklift drivers?
I'm 75, and have been living in Oregon for 20 years. I love it here. Quality weed and low prices. Maybe I'm not looking at this correctly, but if cannabis gets moved to schedule 3, then everyone becomes a medical cannabis patient, right? So, states will no longer pick up tax revenue for cannabis purchases. Will states oppose this move? Peace and love to all from S. Oregon.☮
Absolutely incorrect. Rec won't change. Med will change dramatically. Med will go to pharmacies like Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. Rec will stay the same.
As a CDL holder, what happens if a doctor prescribes me Marijuana and I test postive during a random/pre-employment drug test?
Up to the employer.
your screwed you think they let you smoke weed while operating heavy equipment
the insurance company will make all employers take a whiz quiz also if you fail your
drug test your blackball for 7 years in the trucking industry or you and be evalveuated
by a clinical psycholgist to get your cdl back
@@alanlangley7246How do you know this, I came out the sap program for failing for marijuana. But now marijuana will be under schedule 3. DOT test for schedule 1 drugs
Damn banned 7 years and be evaluated bye a clinical physiologist for smoking weed lmao I have a cdl but it hangs on the wall the trucking industry is not worth being controlled at home
@@thathoodcowboy3032 and thats not saying anyone will take a chance on hiring you
these fly bye night companys might hire ya but the bigger truck lines more than likly will not
Why would States end recreational when they didn't when it was schedule 1?? That makes no sense.
whatever happened to the DOT oral swab? sounds like literally no progress has been made since it was announced
just made a video on it
What will this mean for the home grower?
No changes in illegal states I'm sure. Get your prescription, and keep silent about your grows
I have a government job and a cdl i live in Illinois and i cant find what it would mean for people like me when the move it to a schedule 3
You MAY be able to use it medically, but until it goes even lower or off the scheduling you most likely will not be able to use it for recreational. As for the official guidelines, you are most likely just going to have to wait, unfortunately
As weed laws and enforcement have been relaxed over the past 20-30 years, testing has become ever more strict for those in .gov, with a cdl, etc... I'd expect that to continue.
@@paulwalsh2458you can take schedule 3 substances with a prescription off the clock with a cdl, just can’t be impaired on the job
Use synthetic urine m8. What you do on your off time is your business
A CDL driver who has a valid prescription for a non-schedule I medication may not be disqualified if the doctor declares that the medication will not impair their ability to operate a CMV (however, a medical examiner can overrule the prescribing physician and still disqualify the driver).
When can we expect this to take place???
I have a video on timeline
But will employers quit screening for it? Not talking about CDL or pilots... just average joe jobs. If they don't then they better screen for every drug listed as schedule III
How hard will it be to get a prescription?
Nobody knows to be exact
Easy, Doctors will be all over the internet.
That is happening now. In states where medical is legal. You pay for the doctor to call you back they will ask you questions and do an evaluation to see if you fit the criteria and will be allowed to get your prescription filled. They cannot ship but will deliver. Cash only exact cash
I'm just trying to get baked from point A to B while flying thrue these freeways. Then once I get to point B, I'm trying to talk to Scooby-Doo and shaggy to see what's on the menu.
Banking is the biggest pro imo. If the long-term goal is to remove it from the CSA completely, you weren't getting that without banking
And cannabis users will be able to have their 2nd amendment protections back
Why would moving schedule 3 lead to needing a prescription when it’s not required as a schedule 1. It seems clear that the intention of rescheduling is to loosen restrictions not increase rhem
It is not legal to prescribe a schedule 1 drug; whereas, a schedule 3 drug is allowed to be prescribed by a doctor with an active DEA number.
@@Crash_Linux yes correct, and the federal government has not been interfering with states to license the production of a schedule 1 substance which you “can’t do”.
Cdl driver
Nope.
Treat it like alcohol, don't drive buzzed. Do what you want on your off time. Use synthetic urine
Heck no it should not be prescribed it is hard to get prescribed drug and I can’t get one my self that’s how hard it is it’s better it’s stage 1 so you can just go to dispensery like if you need to smoke for your case you have why you smoke
I am concerned our government is going to be underhanded about it and things won't be better but worse. But it's understandable to feel that way because the government screwed us over big time for decades concerning the wonderful plant.
It’s time they realize we are the ones who decide.
They just open a big can of worms the law/insurance companys will not allow this opens a big lawsuit esp you have a accident with property damages or lost of life or you get hurt at work .
Still calling it Marijuana are we? 😩
That's the search term people use ;)
Shouldn't even be a schedule 3...... it should be in the sane category as Alcohol and tobacco uk the "drugs" that are totally perfectly fucking legal even tho bith have been proven to be alottttt more dangerous uk considering the fact of all the drunk drivers thay kill innocent ppl and all the ppl that die from lung cancer.... and nah don't come at me saying the bs that oh marijuana will be the same way no tf it ain't not at all not saying u should drive while high but its not nearly as dangerous if u where to drive high u tend to drive like 10 mph under the speed limit lmao while alcohol makes u swerve but ik marijuana prolly does the same for some ppl not saying you should drive high at all .....
He just said it big pharma coming for your crops 😂😂🎉❤🎉
Are you high? 😂😂
I have to disagree. There is research out there, but you have to dig for it. I have seek out and found research when I look at states that have a medical cannabis program in a fact, and the states themselves are doing their own research. The states that do not have any such programstend to be blind by any studies or research done by anybody. So for you to say that, I don’t believe you did your research, sir.
Nobody cares. I live in Colorado 😂
What about workers rights in medical states. What will change??
