I hear you but it's not legal under federal law, DOT is a federal thing, so if you want to be a trucker you have to be able to pass weed tests. Nobody's persecuting you, you don't have to be a trucker. But it's an awesome job, and if you want to do it you have to make sacrifices. Quitting weed was the best thing I ever did. Not lazy anymore, I lost weight, I have more motivation, I actually have emotions instead of being numb all the time.
Totally, way more people would drive commercial if they could roast a splif in the sleeper after a 14 hr day. 2 bad common sense cannot prevail, the fact DOT is taking bodily fluids and testing them is a violation of basic human rights IMO. I understand legally, driving is supposedly a "priveledge" and not a right. Every job I’ve had to do a pre-employment drug screen. I’ll pass, get the job, and then find out more than half of the other employees smoke weed, drink and do all sorts of crazy shit. 🤦🏻♂️
Some states are doing the right thing and banning marijuana discrimination. States like New York are hopefully paving the way for marijuana users to not have to fear drug tests and unjust practices... for the most part at least. No employer should ever be able to control what you do off the clock.

As long as it's illegal on the federal level, it doesn't matter what the states do. It's not about what you're doing at home either. In New York it is now part of labor law that an employer CANNOT use a marijuana positive test at a reason to fire or even refuse to hire someone unless the job is subject to specific federal regulation such as DOT. More states that have legalized recreational use are going to follow suit in order to protect their citizens from discrimination and ensure the market can grow and they can make money off of it.

I broke my orbital bone when I hit my head on a rock after falling into a dry riverbed at night. I use it for pain instead of narcotics and it helps me a lot, but because I use it I run the risk of losing everything I have and everything I've ever worked for.

My husband was just forced to resign from his job of nearly 7 years because he failed a random (DOT) for a legal delta 8 gummy. First random he ever failed! Guys from his work would come in with hangovers from alcohol all the time and could barely function. My husband always came to work fully alert and NEVER ate an edible on the clock. Hey everyone, just passed my drug test! I was a very heavy smoke for over 10 years. I even worked for a number of years at a grow house, I quit smoking in June 23 2022 and took my test on September 23 2022. Spent the entire weekend totally freaking out just watching UA-cam videos and reading comments about people not passing their tests after months of being drug free... but I got my call b from my employer saying I passed my test and they're excited for the next step in my career path. I HATE the fact that weed is federally illegal still. I'm getting my 100 ton captains license and quit smoking 2 months ago. I was a long term smoker and pray I pass, I quit the day I found out about this job opportunity. It's just a joke that it's illegal, I should be able to smoke at home. I don't drink because i have stomach problems, weed is so much less dangerous and I always felt I have full control of myself when smoking. Drinking is the absolute opposite, you're out of control and often make bad decisions... yet it's been legal for several years. Pathetic law. I would and will never smoke on a job, I simply want to smoke when I'm home and now I never can again unless miraculously it's federally legalized. I really pray that happens in my lifetime
These tests have to do better. If you consume whatever when on your own time what business is it to your employer? If you come ready to work and sober why do they use tests that dont reflect that, ie basic UA? These test dont give accurate "time of use" stamps and cause problems because you lose good employees for nothing.
To everyone on here wondering. Was taking at home 50ng tests from 30 days clean up to the day i took my drug screen at almost 14 weeks clean and still getting faint lines on my at home tests. They were getting alot darker as time went on. Took a few 15ng tests and those were super faint. Made me super nervouse. Took my test earlier this and was informed i passed. My urine was lab tested too
I had a interview with Frito Lay and they did the hair.. they honestly gave me a heads up about the test a week before while waiting for background check so I had a whole week to get this clean.. I stopped the day I walked out the interview.. I passed by this system.. drinking a lot of water.. sweating a lot playing sports and running.. soaked my hair in clear vinegar for 15 minutes before I showered then washed it out.. the day of, I used a detox shampoo.. and I passed.. she took both my armpit hair..

How soon after offer letter would they schedule a test? I just accepted my offer letter for a promotion and was blindsided after accepting by an email saying I would be receiving another email about background and drug test. Now I'm freaking out, had no clue a drug test would be part of the promotion. But now I have no clue if it's going to be scheduled today, this week, or even later.... I smoked last night and have been smoking nightly for many years. I'm just worried I won't have enough time. I have home tests, I have some detox pills that I took today incase they test me today, and I'm going to pick up a detox drink after work for later. I'm considering doing synthetic urine as well, but it makes me so nervous. I hate this. I'm a good person. I hate that I'm a criminal just because weed helps me with anxiety, depression, and my migraines.

I smoked half a joint a week ago, I workout and run everyday. I usually lose about 4-5 lbs of sweat after each run. I took a at home test and it came back negative.

I'm in a legal state and my employer says it in every other safety meeting, "we are a drug free work environment.". I haven't smoked grass in a long time. I wish they would come up with a test that detects whether you are intoxicated right there. It shouldn't matter what you do on your own time.

That Eric guy who said that a faint line is negative also is an employer who tests his employees according to his other comments, so keep that in mind. I’d look it up to make sure. Find out EXACTLY what a negative result looks like.

The length of time marijuana shows up in the hair test is determined by the length of hair that is tested, not by rates of metabolism. Most gair tests are for the prior 3 months, so they test 1.5” of the hair that is closest to the scalp. If they want to test for longer units of time, they take longer hair samples-assuming you have that much hair (hint, hint). They can test body hair back for the prior year.

In Michigan it says they are not allowed to watch a person unless it is on a federal level, like probation or jail. I have a test coming up in the next couple weeks and I am a frequent user because of seizures and very bad back pain . the fact that things are more lenient with smoking seriously makes me question about why people get so antsy about weed. dude, its pretty simple to answer that. the reason why it's made into such a big deal is because it is perceived to be such a big deal among corporate and insurance companies. the fact you have thc in your system doesn't mean that you are high, and doesn't mean that you are liable to be high at the workplace. but they wont test for alcohol. it isn't the substance that is the problem, it's the perception from society. i had just quit my factory job at GM after a few months there and i became an infrequent smoker (vaped concentrates like, every other couple days or so per week so about 3-4 times a week) and went by the "get high to get by" strat. it helped kinda until my side boss threatened to fire me after i requested to be off a job because the job they were going to put me on had injured me. as a temp i had NO rights and NO berievement (among many other things too as a temp for 2 years). thankfully i had enough and had quit right then and there. now here i am watching these videos because the other jobs that i can get i need to test for, even though i wont be operating in public safety environments or in heavy equipment. i do believe that we need to be tested sure, but i dont believe that we should be held discrimative because of what we do on our free time. let me test a soccer mom who wants to be a teacher. if i see that she drinks and i see a shriveled up liver, she cant be a teacher because of a threat that she will be drunk in the classroom. it isn't about a violation of privacy but rather a violation of basic human rights that are trying to get their act and lives together so they dont have to depend on a substance IF they are depending on it. nobody wants to go to a rehab center and be fed the "it is all okay" "everything is just peachy" bs, empty lies as they make your family poorer just to see you pretend to be better. its demoralizing and dehumanizing. there must be a better way and it starts, in my honest foresight, with the jobs pre-employment tests to see if they smoke or drink or do any illicit substances. hopefully most jobs that dont require it, will remove that requirement and will look the other way but by the way that we are seeing from insurance companies that are aligned with other jobs, that will be a hard pill for that stubborn horse to swallow.
I really can't believe that this has not been legitimately challenged in the court system. But until somebody that has the money and resources to fund an appeal or a class action lawsuit. nothing will change. Ingesting Delta 9 THC is federally illegal and a schedule 1. Ingesting hemp as defined by law in the Farm bill includes Delta 8 and THCA is completely legal to do. Your body then metabolizes and turns it into THC. Nothing illegal about that, except that failing a drug test is against rules, based on ingesting Delta 9 THC only. The test is flawed, and i don't think is proof of ingesting THC. Why would somebody do that when there is a legal path? But the government and organizations are going to continue to abuse their power until somebody with enough money and resources makes a run at them.
My dad beat a hair follicle drug test by using aloe vera shampoo, he is a very heavy user too, I understand there is no actual studies but he looked up how to beat it and that's what it said to do and he passed lol , he even got the cheap brand 🤣

Doc, The last time I smoked was about 2 weeks ago and my test is most likely in a week (my guess is they’ll test on the first day) but I’ve been taking Niacin pills in order to detox. Ive done 2000 mlg about 4 times, plus I enjoy a drink or two every now and then. I’m signed up for West Coast EMT in Southern California, any info you can give me on my chances? @Loving Social Distance Most likely because they didn't pass. The only sure way to test negative is (I know nobody wants to hear this) is to just not use for a very long time. I work at us steel and they hair test for pre employment and while you're on probation period which is 1040 hours. Almost everyone that was supposed to hire in with me failed. I was only on methadone legally at the time so of course I passed. Finally made it off probation but that means nothing to me as I'm not risking this job that at the least makes me over 110k a year.
Hey Sir, I’ve been clean for 71 days as of today. I was a super heavy user (pretty much smoking all day everyday) and I’m 5’10” 190pounds. Should I be good by 80 days? Getting faint lines on tests during the day, but I’m pretty sure my morning urine is still positive. Should 80 days be enough?

@@matpritchard301 metabolism differs person to person and THC is stored in fat. So per example I used to be a moderate user, yet could pass any drug test at 6'5 220 at 9% or less body fat. You at 5'8 180 are either a body builder or obese. Either way there's nothing wrong with that, but which line you fall under will have a dramatic impact on your results as we all burn fat every day. Workplace drug testing generally looks for current users not people who potentially have had a contact high, simply avoid giving your first urine sample in the morning if you're concerned, as in go pee dont workout and hydrate, saliva is already clean, drink a redbull or other niacin rich energy drink along with water for proper color of urine as your body converts it to salt if you're really concerned. But at 80+ days you're going to pass a test as a prior user because the ppms of thc will be so low as to show you are currently sober.
It just sucks because I stop smoking marijuana about 2 1/2 months ago on my own recognizance and a blessing of getting a really great job fell into my lap about two weeks ago and even though it is legal I’m still nervous because I took an at home test and my control line is really dark and my line is there but it’s quite faint. It sucks that I have to worry so hard about marijuana when people do all types of drugs and can pass within four days.

Quick question doc, I only take 1 lung full of smoke at night before bed to help me sleep, that's it, nothing else. I'm a fairly slim guy (160 lbs, 5' 9" tall) and I have a pretty fast metabolism... Based on your experience is it probable for me to pass a urine test in 3-4 days? I know it's a loaded question, but I have no experience with this subject to draw my own opinion.

Here in the UK we get tested on construction sites regularly. If I fail for a metabolite test (saliva) does that mean I’m under the influence of the drug ? I argue that the effects of cannabis do not last 30 days. Let’s be generous and say it lasts 12 hrs. How can I be putting anyone at risk for something I am no longer under the influence of ?

So cut off levels for marijuana 50ng/mL and cutoff confirm 15ng/mL Fed guidelines 49 40 for labs say to use the same cutoff level in initial and confirmation for the urine sample….meaning so if i had a GC/ms test done and my number is 40ng/mL, I fail right off the bat???

On Friday I had a drug test and been testing negative on different home test since Wednesday. I took the test for pre employment and am waiting on the results. I am overweight. Do you think it's possible the lab will detect it being that the home test were negative?

National Guard, I’m fat, 26%-29% body fat. Did not have drill in July, so… as soon as we got out of June drill, I smoked pot nearly every day till June 26th. (I went to a dispensary and bought all kinds of flower.) I used bongs, bubblers and pipes. Mixed the pot together and made joints from 9 different strains. I quit June 26th, then on July 2nd a friend stop by. We got wasted and I took a bong hit. July 30th started annual training. And immediately a UA was given. Three days prior to AT, I drank a gallon of water every day. On the day of the test, (because I knew it was coming.) I woke up 3 1/2 hours before formation and drank 3-4, 28oz water from my yeti cup. And some coffee. I peed several times before the test, once nearly 5 minute before. STRAIGHT CLEAR WATER came out of my PEE PEE hole. If my sample isn’t selected, I win, if it’s tested it’s diluted. Usually 21-30 days is enough to pass for not heavy smokers. The army also doesn’t fail you for Diluted urine. Been doing this for 16 years!!! I will always take the at home drug tests the week before drill. They have either clearly negative indications or faint negatives. My GF smokes everyday for the past 4 years. She took one and it was instantly positive from the same box I used. As some older NCO told me “Dilution is the solution.” Until the army decides to use hair follicle testing. Dilute dilute dilute! The Medic looking at my urine sample said “this isn’t even testable.” You’re welcome fellow National Guards.

What about detox drinks or detox pills? I don’t know much about the pills but I do know that with the drink, you drink it before your urine test and it’s supposed to clean you out for the following 2 hours when you’re supposed to take your test. Any thoughts?

Day 51 of staying clean. Before that smoked up almost everyday. Been checking home tests and everytime I see a faint red test line . I have my test in 2 days. Am i good to go? I weigh 210lbs and 5ft 9" tall
Hey Doc. I purchased your recommended drug test at home kit. Regarding THC, my first urination of the day usually shows a faint second line. My second always has a very strong second line. For DOT testing, will they force me to redo my test if my urine is slightly diluted due to water intake? It still shows color (greenish yellow) but is not a dark yellow. I never urinate dark yellow unless I’m dehydrated which is rare because I drink over a gallon of water daily. I have been clean 31 days as a past heavy user of THC and my test is in 15 days. Would you recommend I postpone my test given I have the option, or rather just urinate when I wake up before my test and give them my second or third urination of the day since it seems to always pass. If they make me re-do it on the spot, it will still be diluted I feel! If that makes sense.
Smart move testing yourself before taking the official test. To answer your question directly the collector of your sample will not be able to tell if it is slightly diluted due to your water intake. The will check it for color but if it doesn’t look like you intentionally tampered with it they will send it to the lab. Continue to test yourself to get an idea of where you stand as you get closer to your official test.

Hello ! Here’s my question sir. My friend is being stressed about upcoming drug test for his CDL. He haven’t smoked exactly 7 months. He been smoking multiple times a day for quite long time. He quit cold turkey for the job for 7 straight months. He bought all available at home drug tests at walmart, cvs, walgreens. Each test he does shows negative ! He does it already for a week. Morning urine, day time urine all shows negative. two solid lines! But he still worried. Can u also explains differences between 50 ng/ml and 15ng/ml which is more accurate? Or if he passes 50 they don’t check for 15ng Because those test are all 50ng/ml. Please please HELP

If you stopped ingesting marijuana and detoxed then later tested negative on a urine test, is that an indication that the body stopped growing contaminated hair? Or does the body continue to grow "dirty" hair for up to 90 day regardless of a negative urine test result?

On avg it takes 6-7 weeks for your system to be clear of the THC metabolites for you to pass a urine drug test. This is for the avg smoker, someone who smokes a joint a day everyday. You need to allow 42-49 days to get your urine clean.

It takes 30 days to get clean for everyday smokers or for those that consume edibles. For urine you’re gonna need synthetic urine or someone else’s urine for a test next week.

Hello sir. So I had a pre employment drug screening. It's probably been about 40ish days since the last time I used. But definitely more than 30. I'm 5'9 180. I've taken multiple home drug test. All with a negative result. I even went to an urgent care which also resulted in a negative result. The office were I had my pre employment test taken, sends out their samples to a lab for testing. I did one of no's I guess. and drink water before my pre employment test. My urine was more misty with a bit of yellow. But water is all I really drink though. juice and soda I stay away from because of the sugar. And I'm prone to diabetes. I guess my question is, do you think my sample will yield a positive result? Since it was sent to a lab? Are their tests different?

@@r0bmc745 they’ve always let me use the bathroom by myself, they’re not in there with me, they just tell you not to flush the toilet. Pour most of the urine in the cup any throw a bit into the toilet.
Yea, I’ve used quick fix at least 5 times and you need to keep it warm. In the box you’ll get a heating pad and instructions on how to use it. I would throw mine in the microwave for 10 seconds and then rubber band the heating pad around the quick fix bottle. You’ll also see a a temperature line on the bottom of the bottle and make sure to keep it within that range. I’ve never failed using it
@@LaylaRichellee yea it works 100%. Just make sure it’s the right temperature. It’s based off of internal body heat. If they test your urine and it’s to cold or hot then they will know something medically wrong with you. Hope this helps

I hear you but it's not legal under federal law, DOT is a federal thing, so if you want to be a trucker you have to be able to pass weed tests. Nobody's persecuting you, you don't have to be a trucker. But it's an awesome job, and if you want to do it you have to make sacrifices. Quitting weed was the best thing I ever did. Not lazy anymore, I lost weight, I have more motivation, I actually have emotions instead of being numb all the time.

Totally, way more people would drive commercial if they could roast a splif in the sleeper after a 14 hr day. 2 bad common sense cannot prevail, the fact DOT is taking bodily fluids and testing them is a violation of basic human rights IMO. I understand legally, driving is supposedly a "priveledge" and not a right. But this level of micromanagement of what commercial drivers intake into their own bodies on their personal off time is one of reasons we have a commercial truck driver shortage.

Some states are doing the right thing and banning marijuana discrimination. States like New York are hopefully paving the way for marijuana users to not have to fear drug tests and unjust practices... for the most part at least. No employer should ever be able to control what you do off the clock.

In New York it is now part of labor law that an employer CANNOT use a marijuana positive test at a reason to fire or even refuse to hire someone unless the job is subject to specific federal regulation such as DOT. More states that have legalized recreational use are going to follow suit in order to protect their citizens from discrimination and ensure the market can grow and they can make money off of it.

I broke my orbital bone when I hit my head on a rock after falling into a dry riverbed at night. I use it for pain instead of narcotics and it helps me a lot, but because I use it I run the risk of losing everything I have and everything I've ever worked for.

My husband was just forced to resign from his job of nearly 7 years because he failed a random (DOT) for a legal delta 8 gummy. First random he ever failed! Guys from his work would come in with hangovers from alcohol all the time and could barely function. My husband always came to work fully alert and NEVER ate an edible on the clock. Hey everyone, just passed my drug test! I was a very heavy smoke for over 10 years. I even worked for a number of years at a grow house, I quit smoking in June 23 2022 and took my test on September 23 2022. Spent the entire weekend totally freaking out just watching UA-cam videos and reading comments about people not passing their tests after months of being drug free... but I got my call b from my employer saying I passed my test and they're excited for the next step in my career path. I HATE the fact that weed is federally illegal still. I'm getting my 100 ton captains license and quit smoking 2 months ago. I was a long term smoker and pray I pass, I quit the day I found out about this job opportunity. It's just a joke that it's illegal, I should be able to smoke at home. I don't drink because i have stomach problems, weed is so much less dangerous and I always felt I have full control of myself when smoking. Drinking is the absolute opposite, you're out of control and often make bad decisions... yet it's been legal for several years. Pathetic law. I would and will never smoke on a job, I simply want to smoke when I'm home and now I never can again unless miraculously it's federally legalized. I really pray that happens in my lifetime

These tests have to do better. If you consume whatever when on your own time what business is it to your employer? If you come ready to work and sober why do they use tests that dont reflect that, ie basic UA? These test dont give accurate "time of use" stamps and cause problems because you lose good employees for nothing.

To everyone on here wondering. Was taking at home 50ng tests from 30 days clean up to the day i took my drug screen at almost 14 weeks clean and still getting faint lines on my at home tests. They were getting alot darker as time went on. Took a few 15ng tests and those were super faint. Made me super nervouse. Took my test earlier this and was informed i passed. My urine was lab tested too

I had a interview with Frito Lay and they did the hair.. they honestly gave me a heads up about the test a week before while waiting for background check so I had a whole week to get this clean.. I stopped the day I walked out the interview.. I passed by this system.. drinking a lot of water.. sweating a lot playing sports and running.. soaked my hair in clear vinegar for 15 minutes before I showered then washed it out.. the day of, I used a detox shampoo.. and I passed.. she took both my armpit hair..

How soon after offer letter would they schedule a test? I just accepted my offer letter for a promotion and was blindsided after accepting by an email saying I would be receiving another email about background and drug test. Now I'm freaking out, had no clue a drug test would be part of the promotion. But now I have no clue if it's going to be scheduled today, this week, or even later.... I smoked last night and have been smoking nightly for many years. I'm just worried I won't have enough time. I have home tests, I have some detox pills that I took today incase they test me today, and I'm going to pick up a detox drink after work for later. I'm considering doing synthetic urine as well, but it makes me so nervous. I hate this. I'm a good person. I hate that I'm a criminal just because weed helps me with anxiety, depression, and my migraines.

Without that warming pack you fail the test because the pee cup sample has a temperature strip.

I'm in a legal state and my employer says it in every other safety meeting, "we are a drug free work environment.". I haven't smoked grass in a long time. I wish they would come up with a test that detects whether you are intoxicated right there. It shouldn't matter what you do on your own time.

That Eric guy who said that a faint line is negative also is an employer who tests his employees according to his other comments, so keep that in mind. I’d look it up to make sure. Find out EXACTLY what a negative result looks like.

The length of time marijuana shows up in the hair test is determined by the length of hair that is tested, not by rates of metabolism. Most gair tests are for the prior 3 months, so they test 1.5” of the hair that is closest to the scalp. If they want to test for longer units of time, they take longer hair samples-assuming you have that much hair (hint, hint). They can test body hair back for the prior year.

It is made, and more is made behind it, which pushes the oldest hair furthest from the scalp, then it breaks down and falls or gets cut off. Fluids are not important.
What about pubes, pit, or anal hair? I can put together a variety pack, perhaps with a dash of mucus or pimple scab with a single, robust hair emerging from the center.

the fact that things are more lenient with smoking seriously makes me question about why people get so antsy about weed. dude, its pretty simple to answer that. the reason why it's made into such a big deal is because it is perceived to be such a big deal among corporate and insurance companies. the fact you have thc in your system doesn't mean that you are high, and doesn't mean that you are liable to be high at the workplace. but they wont test for alcohol. it isn't the substance that is the problem, it's the perception from society. i had just quit my factory job at GM after a few months there and i became an infrequent smoker (vaped concentrates like, every other couple days or so per week so about 3-4 times a week) and went by the "get high to get by" strat. it helped kinda until my side boss threatened to fire me after i requested to be off a job because the job they were going to put me on had injured me. as a temp i had NO rights and NO berievement (among many other things too as a temp for 2 years). thankfully i had enough and had quit right then and there.
now here i am watching these videos because the other jobs that i can get i need to test for, even though i wont be operating in public safety environments or in heavy equipment. i do believe that we need to be tested sure, but i dont believe that we should be held discrimative because of what we do on our free time. let me test a soccer mom who wants to be a teacher. if i see that she drinks and i see a shriveled up liver, she cant be a teacher because of a threat that she will be drunk in the classroom. it isn't about a violation of privacy but rather a violation of basic human rights that are trying to get their act and lives together so they dont have to depend on a substance IF they are depending on it. nobody wants to go to a rehab center and be fed the "it is all okay" "everything is just peachy" bs, empty lies as they make your family poorer just to see you pretend to be better. its demoralizing and dehumanizing. there must be a better way and it starts, in my honest foresight, with the jobs pre-employment tests to see if they smoke or drink or do any illicit substances. hopefully most jobs that dont require it, will remove that requirement and will look the other way but by the way that we are seeing from insurance companies that are aligned with other jobs, that will be a hard pill for that stubborn horse to swallow.
I really can't believe that this has not been legitimately challenged in the court system. But until somebody that has the money and resources to fund an appeal or a class action lawsuit. nothing will change. Ingesting Delta 9 THC is federally illegal and a schedule 1. Ingesting hemp as defined by law in the Farm bill includes Delta 8 and THCA is completely legal to do. Your body then metabolizes and turns it into THC. Nothing illegal about that, except that failing a drug test is against rules, based on ingesting Delta 9 THC only. The test is flawed, and i don't think is proof of ingesting THC. Why would somebody do that when there is a legal path? But the government and organizations are going to continue to abuse their power until somebody with enough money and resources makes a run at them.
My dad beat a hair follicle drug test by using aloe vera shampoo, he is a very heavy user too, I understand there is no actual studies but he looked up how to beat it and that's what it said to do and he passed lol , he even got the cheap brand 🤣

If you have stopped smoking for 1 month then you are not an addict and are most certainly not affected by THC and even moreso if you stopped smoking 3 months ago so how can these b@stards justify this? It should be saliva, which is positive like 1-3 days after last use, or nothing, because you aren't too affected to perform your employment duties 3 days after smoking, that's just silly. Alcohol is as debilitating or arguably more debilitating to your work performance (depending on your occupation of course but in generalities) and much much worse for your health. Doc, The last time I smoked was about 2 weeks ago and my test is most likely in a week (my guess is they’ll test on the first day) but I’ve been taking Niacin pills in order to detox. Ive done 2000 mlg about 4 times, plus I enjoy a drink or two every now and then. I’m signed up for West Coast EMT in Southern California, any info you can give me on my chances? I work at us steel and they hair test for pre employment and while you're on probation period which is 1040 hours.
Almost everyone that was supposed to hire in with me failed.
I was only on methadone legally at the time so of course I passed. Finally made it off probation but that means nothing to me as I'm not risking this job that at the least makes me over 110k a year.

You at 5'8 180 are either a body builder or obese. Either way there's nothing wrong with that, but which line you fall under will have a dramatic impact on your results as we all burn fat every day. Workplace drug testing generally looks for current users not people who potentially have had a contact high, simply avoid giving your first urine sample in the morning if you're concerned, as in go pee dont workout and hydrate, saliva is already clean, drink a redbull or other niacin rich energy drink along with water for proper color of urine as your body converts it to salt if you're really concerned. But at 80+ days you're going to pass a test as a prior user because the ppms of thc will be so low as to show you are currently sober.
It just sucks because I stop smoking marijuana about 2 1/2 months ago on my own recognizance and a blessing of getting a really great job fell into my lap about two weeks ago and even though it is legal I’m still nervous because I took an at home test and my control line is really dark and my line is there but it’s quite faint. It sucks that I have to worry so hard about marijuana when people do all types of drugs and can pass within four days.

If y’all wanna know my experience. My mom caught me and gave me a month to get clean. A week before I got tested I smoked, that whole week leading up to it. All I did was drink water and pedialyte and it was out of my system.
All drugs store in your fat cells. The more fat you have the longer it takes to get out of your system. Hair follicles are 3-6 months

Quick question doc, I only take 1 lung full of smoke at night before bed to help me sleep, that's it, nothing else. I'm a fairly slim guy (160 lbs, 5' 9" tall) and I have a pretty fast metabolism... Based on your experience is it probable for me to pass a urine test in 3-4 days? I know it's a loaded question, but I have no experience with this subject to draw my own opinion.
My guess would be it would be difficult to pass. This is only my opinion however.

I argue that the effects of cannabis do not last 30 days. Let’s be generous and say it lasts 12 hrs. How can I be putting anyone at risk for something I am no longer under the influence of ?

I am not a frequent user and smoked about 6 times between Friday and Sunday. Literally 1 or 2 hits each time. On Friday I had a drug test and been testing negative on different home test since Wednesday. I took the test for pre employment and am waiting on the results. I am overweight. Do you think it's possible the lab will detect it being that the home test were negative?

National Guard, I’m fat, 26%-29% body fat.
Did not have drill in July, so… as soon as we got out of June drill, I smoked pot nearly every day till June 26th. (I went to a dispensary and bought all kinds of flower.)
I used bongs, bubblers and pipes. Mixed the pot together and made joints from 9 different strains.
I quit June 26th, then on July 2nd a friend stop by. We got wasted and I took a bong hit.
July 30th started annual training. And immediately a UA was given.
Three days prior to AT, I drank a gallon of water every day.
On the day of the test, (because I knew it was coming.) I woke up 3 1/2 hours before formation and drank 3-4, 28oz water from my yeti cup. And some coffee. I peed several times before the test, once nearly 5 minute before. STRAIGHT CLEAR WATER came out of my PEE PEE hole.
If my sample isn’t selected, I win, if it’s tested it’s diluted.
Usually 21-30 days is enough to pass for not heavy smokers.
The army also doesn’t fail you for Diluted urine. Been doing this for 16 years!!!
I will always take the at home drug tests the week before drill. They have either clearly negative indications or faint negatives. My GF smokes everyday for the past 4 years. She took one and it was instantly positive from the same box I used.
As some older NCO told me “Dilution is the solution.” Until the army decides to use hair follicle testing. Dilute dilute dilute! The Medic looking at my urine sample said “this isn’t even testable.”

What about detox drinks or detox pills? I don’t know much about the pills but I do know that with the drink, you drink it before your urine test and it’s supposed to clean you out for the following 2 hours when you’re supposed to take your test. Any thoughts?
Drink a lot of water tons of it. Exercise alot of fruit and veggies and sit in the sauna and sweat it works

Hey Doc. I purchased your recommended drug test at home kit. Regarding THC, my first urination of the day usually shows a faint second line. My second always has a very strong second line. For DOT testing, will they force me to redo my test if my urine is slightly diluted due to water intake? It still shows color (greenish yellow) but is not a dark yellow. I never urinate dark yellow unless I’m dehydrated which is rare because I drink over a gallon of water daily.
I have been clean 31 days as a past heavy user of THC and my test is in 15 days. Would you recommend I postpone my test given I have the option, or rather just urinate when I wake up before my test and give them my second or third urination of the day since it seems to always pass.
If they make me re-do it on the spot, it will still be diluted I feel! If that makes sense.
Smart move testing yourself before taking the official test. To answer your question directly the collector of your sample will not be able to tell if it is slightly diluted due to your water intake. The will check it for color but if it doesn’t look like you intentionally tampered with it they will send it to the lab. Continue to test yourself to get an idea of where you stand as you get closer to your official test.

He quit cold turkey for the job for 7 straight months. He bought all available at home drug tests at walmart, cvs, walgreens. Each test he does shows negative ! He does it already for a week. Morning urine, day time urine all shows negative. two solid lines! But he still worried. Can u also explains differences between 50 ng/ml and 15ng/ml which is more accurate? Or if he passes 50 they don’t check for 15ng Because those test are all 50ng/ml. Please please HELP

On avg it takes 6-7 weeks for your system to be clear of the THC metabolites for you to pass a urine drug test. This is for the avg smoker, someone who smokes a joint a day everyday. You need to allow 42-49 days to get your urine clean.

It takes 30 days to get clean for everyday smokers or for those that consume edibles. For urine you’re gonna need synthetic urine or someone else’s urine for a test next week.

Hello sir. So I had a pre employment drug screening. It's probably been about 40ish days since the last time I used. But definitely more than 30. I'm 5'9 180. I've taken multiple home drug test. All with a negative result. I even went to an urgent care which also resulted in a negative result. The office were I had my pre employment test taken, sends out their samples to a lab for testing. I did one of no's I guess. and drink water before my pre employment test. My urine was more misty with a bit of yellow. But water is all I really drink though. juice and soda I stay away from because of the sugar. And I'm prone to diabetes. I guess my question is, do you think my sample will yield a positive result? Since it was sent to a lab? Are their tests different?

Yea, I’ve used quick fix at least 5 times and you need to keep it warm. In the box you’ll get a heating pad and instructions on how to use it. I would throw mine in the microwave for 10 seconds and then rubber band the heating pad around the quick fix bottle. You’ll also see a a temperature line on the bottom of the bottle and make sure to keep it within that range. I’ve never failed using it
