Belive it or not! I learned side swipe and double side swipe after watching this video ,took me half an hour to master it. This video was easy to understand and really helpful. Thanks a lot guys.

I got it!!!! YES!!!! I finally got it! It's 1:24 a.m. here. I got up from my chair, tried it a few times and I finally got it! I had to practice swinging the rope for a couple of days so many times before I could jump over but I finally got it. Thanks! Also, I got whipped by the rope multiple times which is so funny every time. I wish I took vids lol

I just started jump roping and I want to thank you guys for making these videos. You guys are hilarious and explain things so well. My little ones try to follow along with their little jump ropes so my driveway is all of us swinging our ropes. My husband fears of getting whipped! Haha!
Started jumping 3 weeks ago. Gone from single jump with two bouncing in-between, to be able to single jump into boxer skip's into sideswipe back to single jump (Still suck on runner and duble unders). My workout has gone from 15min to 50 min. Been using your guides non stop! Amazing help to get better and I just want to learn more tricks! Also got myself crossropes and they have helped tremendously with my form and to get the timing right. Just to be clear, Before these 3 weeks I had not jumped rope since 4th grade in school. But must say, finding you guys and jumping has been the best for my workout life that ever happened to me! Thank you! Ps. Lost 4kilo of fat since I started, witch shows what an amazing workout ropes are.

Dudes, The slow motion is really helpful on comprehend the double side swipe moves.....I can just keep looping it while practicing this cool move. Thanks Dudes👍🏾
A tip I used to get it down is simple 1. Do a normal swipe and as you cross your dominant hand over during the normal swipe, simply transition that bottom hand over. Then slide that left hand across your body then transitio your dominant hand over your your other hand then swipe your dominant hand over to the left again. Rinse and repeat!
You guys are GODS thank you so much to you that becuase of yall i learned how to do the side swipe,criss cross, boxers stance jumps and a few more jumps in 2 days. its funny now that i think of it cuz like at one point, not even one point lol maybe like 6 months back, i didnt know how to even JUMP properly in skipping but then i learnt the normal way, still couldnt do it properly till last week or so cuz i didnt even try after i jumped thru the rope twice lol but then i kinda mastered the normal in the last week then saw you guys' videos about the side swipe n other jumps n literally learned it in two days. In the first video, you say that your dominant hand is your right hand and it works like the anchor at 2.40. In this video, you say that your dominant hand is the left which is on top at 2.15. Kindly help as to where the dominant hand should be? On top or under??
Great video! I love the way you guys explain things. My question is, how is the transition from doing the side swipe on both sides to the opening of the rope to swing under you? . You only show it on the single swipe. But since you add the extra move, I guess you would have to change it to the single swipe when going back to the left side to be able to open up the rope, correct? I'm not sure. Thanks guys

Great video guys, i'm trying to perfect this craft thanks to the help of your videos. I try the side swipe but my rope keeps getting twisted up, so when i'm ready to jump its all twisted and tangled.
I think it could be a bit more clear to refer to hands and sides as dominant or not rather than left/right in this particular case. Anyway, nice explanation, thanks

I learned single side swipe watching this vedio....but double side swipe is difficult to learn looking at you because in vedio you are like my mirror image so your right is my left and your left is my right. So when I m learning how to move hands I end my interlocking my hands again and again...so it will be easy to learn more easily if you give vedio from posterior aspect also...that will be helpful But thanks for giving such tutorials

If I'm understanding your question proper, Whatever hand is across your body, take it back to it's side. Right hand across body, take it back to your right side.
Do both of you only wear nike basketball shoes? I’m in the market for a new show and stuck on where to begin for support/comfort/light/out of the way of the rope as well.
We recommend any decent basketball shoe for jumping rope! Basketball shoes are not only extremely comfortable but effective for protecting your feet + ankles while jumping!

Keep at it! You want to separate those wrists so the rope doesn't get tangled!
