      @@duncanmacleod7287but its true because a full head of hair doesn’t bring you happiness like only money doesn’t bring you happiness. If you manage life the right way you feel fulfilled, no matter what that is for you, you dont need hair to be confident or happy. I understand that coping can be a factor but then you are not quite there yet and hair wont give you what you are looking for to feel good about yourself. Still im taking my finasteride and oral minoxidil and will have a transplant to get rid of my widows peak because i dont look good bald and i dont even have beard growth. I like my hair and so far i stopped hairloss completely 💪

      @@Divingdeeponceagain Hair is just one thing I agree, but definitely made me feel happier keeping it rather than becoming bald which isn't a good look for me either, I remember before I started fin it was really messing with my mental health.

    People with a full head of hair will never understand the pain of balding. They can enjoy swimming, roller coasters, rainy days and windy days without severe anxiety

      @@user-dc1eo5pt6k So far yes, started at 28 and had pretty decent regrowth with fin but during the pandemic had a setback and was starting to see my scalp under bright lights again like I did at 28, seems a bit better now but not entirely recovered, also during pandemic started developing a bit of hair loss on the back of my head (had none before) but currently doesn't seem to be progressing.
      I'm planning on adding a capsule of dut to my fin regimen and hopefully get even better results.

      ​@@duncanmacleod7287yup. Don't give up if you want here. Lots of modern advances. I think of it this way. In the 1970s they had shoe polish and comb overs. Today we have drugs, concealers and great transplant technology. The bald guys here are acting like there was no hope to begin with. Ridiculous.

    I'm bald - I think hair transplants are fine (but they must come with a warning that its finasteride for life and they'll likely need a second transplant to cover weak spots).
    I actually dont think its impossible to keep you hair (unless you are agressivley balding into nw6 or nw7) but I just shaved mine and it looked fine so I kept it.
    So in short, either option is fine as it just depends a case by case basis.

      Yeah I’d like to think a good clinic will reinforce that it’s a game for life if you really want to persist with the look of non balding hair

    Been there many times. And I know the buzz you get with the buzz. (It usually lasts three days for me, then I realise I should grow it out again...rinse and repeat) You might beefit from some light SMP up the back, but I wouldn't advise. Nobody advises about doing something, we only say, 'shave it bro' ...looks good bro. etc.. And it isnt bad, and it is better than long combover

      @@Baldcafe I really only got that he tried fin for a little while and then just stopped. If you start fin and wont use it at least 1-2 years, then don't even bother starting at all.

      No he was using it as recommended if you are having a transplant. then decided he didn't want more and more transplants so no point taking fin after that. No need for it once you see you can actually just handle rocking a shaved head and don't need to endlessly pursue a fuller and fuller head of hair. in a nut shell.

      Honestly I think the shape of the head reasoning is just stupid. Nobody goes around checking other people's head shape or if it fits their hairstyle.
      We all have seen those videos talking about how some head shapes are better for the bald style but in real life there are a million things that are way more important than that such as facial features, beard, physique, styling and, of course, personality.

    i am in a similiar sitation but my transplnt was only my frontal line ... the rest of the hair will go in 3 years. How do I ignore the scarring both behind and even where my hair was trasnplanted..

      You would have to stay on Fin to stop more hair falling, but failing that maybe you can get a mini transplant into the rear scar (if you had strip) or even maybe consider SMP to hide it?

    Get smp at that back shave it down to a 0.5-0.3 and your look the bollox you have a decent beard and your not pale white with no beard which can make you look ill.

    Guy looks good buzzed. I look terrible with a buzz/ bald. Have to deal with it anyways though.Trying for the life of me to grow a beard. I'm also a minoxidil non responder 😂 It's all about playing the hand you've been dealt.

    just don’t stop minoxidil 🤷🏼‍♂️ start as early as you notice any hair loss and you ll keep you hair. it takes like 15 seconds a day and costs like 60€ a year. when you have any skin problems use a different brand and/or use the female version twice a day. it’s easy

      Acknowledge the time stamps. All the answers are there. Transplants aren’t a miracle cure. They have to be done properly and often multiple procedures in stages.

      Thanks to finasteride I still look like I'm barely balding. Bald most often looks worse not better. Even the most good looking dudes, look better with hair than without.

      @@Baldcafe i did a hair transplant in the front and the back is same as him but im planning to have another one its been two years now and i was planning to have another hair transplant for the back part but i think i wann give it a try to do like him and his the hair transplant give him a good well shaped hair line but only it depends on how the doner area will be looking like

    Yo bro. U dont have to shave ur head. U do know that you can get another hair tranaplant right, and that wld resolve ur issue, almost? A 2nd ht is more common than u tink. Its a waste to think that just bcos u are balding at the crown and very thick at the front, u decide to throw away all the benefits of having hair at all.

      @@Baldcafe if u gt a 2nd ht, or even a 3rd, how can u not get the result that u want? With minoxidil, which dont take alot of ur time, and dht shampoo (you have to shampoo ur hair anyway) his concerns will end. U dont have to get an endless no of ht. Shaving ur head bald and throw away the benefits of hair is a wrong way to tink abt life in general just bcos of "oh when does it end". U fight to get what u want n what makes u happy, instead of resigining to ideologies

      @@Baldcafe Thanks for the reply. I saw the amount of hair you have in videos. If I started with that amount of hair, I would be cutting an afro now. Its alot to explain but the mechanical degradation of the scalp with lower dermis fibrosis and calcification is the key. Once you remove that by using "Hijama" aka cupping and dermastamp, with a microcurrent- you will get cradle cap and the hair follicles will wake back up. Follicles dont die- they are comatose.
