Nice, I have been doing almost all these except with a few tweaks.
For the shower, I added a water filter, but I still only wash about 2-3 times a week only. So I use a shower cap most of the time.
Use conditioner or a hair mask, leave-in conditioner and hair oil. This will protect the hair from breakage and actually keep the length of the hair longer, growing longer strands.

A lot of good info that covers all the bases. Brilliant for any newbie who wants a brief overview of almost everything that matters. This comes from someone who's studied EVERYTHING to do with hairloss and treatment. I must add Billberg that microneedling at 1 mm or higher like 1.5 mm twice a week is probably too much and runs the risk of fibrosis in the long term. If you're doing those deeper depths its best to do once every 2 weeks or so. There's still some debate about whether frequent shallow depths or infrequent deeper depths is better for stimulating hair growth ... I personally think deeper given the physiology of the hair follicle. All the good stuff of the hair follicle is within the layers of the dermis, which means you need to get AT LEAST 1 mm through the epidermis ... the stratum corneum of the epidermis which is completely dead skin is 0.15 mm. The dermis below the epidermis has many distinct layers but is in total about 3 mm on top of head. Occipital (back of head) is a bit more.

Within 1 month your DHT will fully normalize, it acts as a reductor, not a blocker like finasteride. Drink it 1-2 times every day, I guarantee you will keep the hair you have. Once it normalizes you can start drinking it every other day or even every 3rd day. It's been 3.5 years since I first started this, I'm not an exception, it will work for everyone.

Amazing video! Loved that you mentioned nutrition first, as that is a very important baseline to hit. Another, less talked topic in balding prevention is your facial/scalp muscles being too tight, stretching the scalp in all directions and thus, causing hair loss. This theory seems to be relatively new, but i love the arguments for it, and the ways to prevent it seem very logical. I really think everyone who is struggling with hair loss should be aware of this, a youtuber called "What i`ve learned" has done a very in-depth video about it called "What causes Hair Loss and How to Regrow it".

    MY TAKE ON THIS:
Avoid all oral medications at all costs. Both Finestride and Minoxidil come in topical forms such as sprays and oils so don't rush to oral medication first. Try the topical application and naturally remedies first.
The main idea is to block or normalize DHT and improve Biotin intake with herbs and grow thick hair with herbs as well with the help of scalp massage and Derma Roll pens or microneedling.
Too much DHT destroys hair follicles so you'll have to reduce or block DHT in the body. Strong DHT Blockers are; saw palmetto, pumpkin seed oil, nettle root extract, green tea extract, and pygeum bark extract. Also, foods rich in lycopene such as tomatoes, watermelons, carrots, and mangoes.
While reducing DHT, you'll have to improve Biotin which has vitamins that produce Keratin - the protein that makes up hair, skin, and nails. Take Biotin-rich foods like berries, liver, legumes, oily fish, and bananas.
You don't need medications. Use topical medictions like oils and sprays as well as scalp massaging and Derma Rolling or Microneedling (as well as RedLight/Lazer if available). Use those natural ways together with herbal intake before resorting to oral medications.
    1). VITAMINS & MINERALS
    a. Zinc, daily 10-15mg (zinc to be balanced with Cooper, in ratio of 10:1 because, more Zinc will reduce Copper in your blood)
    b. Daily Sunlight
    c. Vit D/C
    d. Biotin 30 mcg (only if deficient)
    2). Male Patent Boldness PREVENTION
    a. Saw Palmetto 320 mg daily on a full stomach
    b. Finestride 0.25mg 4 times week min (can have erectile dysf so take Rosemary Oil or Castor Oil). Use the spray version of Fin.
    3). REGROW
    a. Scalp Massage, 5 mins min
    b. Minoxidil, apply daily min 1-2 times
    c. Microneedling / Derma Pen 1mm (press in, don't roll), 1-2 times a week
    d. Gelatine supplementation (make hair thicker). Gelatin is made from animal collagen such as bones, skin, tendons and ligaments.
    4). AVOID
    a. Processed foods, smoking & alcohol
    b. Dehydration, stress, poor sleep, showering with Fluoride
    Note;
    1. Take Biotin if Deficiency, Minoxidil doesn't prevent hair loss, Finastride is a must but has side effects. They come in sprays and oils so use those topical ones.
    2. Try natural ways, avoid all oral medication and try topical ways as much as possible.
    3. There are two DHT pathways in our body. Saw Palmetto can only block one pathway and apparently, Finestride blocks the other. But try only Saw Palmetto first and see before you can try the spray version of Finestride because, it seems unavoidable.

TLDR I wanted to encourage anyone who thinks theyre starting to lose hair to take action. By the time you notice you should do something about it. By the time you feel self concious about it, the treatment might be quite in depth like in this video and you may give up before even starting. If you start early you might only need a pill a day and decent health habits.
My father is bald, but my mothers dad has lots of hair.
I noticed when I was 26 my hair was thinning out where my headphones rested, and my hair line was starting to recede.
I learned taking medication like finsateride is best at retatining hair and topical medication was necessary to regrow hair. Knowing my habits I decided to start taking finasteride 1mg per day even though I still had lots of hair, and genetically there was a chance I wouldnt go bald in the future. I know if i had to go with topical medication id never be consistent. Thus i invested in medication early to prevent that need.
Im 30 now and my hair is thick like it was in high-school. The hair line i had got stronger and gained a bit of ground. However, as expected I didn't grow new hair, just retained what i had and made it stronger.
My brother who is 5 years older than me has the same receding hair line as me, but its deeper. He buzzes his hair so i can't judge how thick his hair could be. He doesnt treat his hair with anything.
I haven't perceived any unintended side effects. Overall my life is pleasent and not too stressed. I workout 5 days a week and sleep consistently. My diet is kinda bad i like my fastfood and carbs on the weekends.
    Best wishes to everyones journey.

I have been using microneedling for a few months at 0.5mm, which has generated a lot of baby hairs, but they need help to get bigger, so the Saw Palmetto is one thing I'm taking for that, and the other is a DHT blocking shampoo, Grow Me. Great solutions but you need to examine the basics... hair is protein structures and made up of collagen and amino acids. Meat has a lot of amino acids. Gelatin (or jello) is essentially building blocks of amino acids. You can consume collagen peptides powder with tea, coffee or smoothie to assist in collagen consumption. Collagen and Gelatin are just building blocks of amino acids.
For microneedling, you can use a derma stamp which adjust needles length between 0mm to 3mm. Or use an electric dermastamp. This process helps blood circulation.
DHT is a testosterone by-product. It occurs due to stress factors in the environment, physical exersion, or substance consumption. Saw Palmetto or Pumpkin seed inhibit DHT production (it binds to DHT to make them ineffective). You can also use rosemary oil with a carrier oil mix to apply topically on your head which will be absorbed to reduce DHT and increase blood flow.
Red light therapy helps with blood circulation.
There are also surgical treatments like stem cells, platelet rich plasma (PRP) injection, hair transplant...
    Hope this helps.
Edit: goal is to reduce DHT and stresses, improve blood circulation to hair follicles/cells, and provide necessary proteins for hair production.

The ONLY way to slow or halt further hair loss with potential growth is to take a dht blocker aka finasteride or dutasteride. Both of which slash dht down which is a very important hormone in your body and when it is being decreased that is what could cause side effects, even tho it is less then 2% off ppl on finasteride who experience them, and 4% on dutasteride. The entire thing is to catch it early and be proactive about treatment.

Really helpful video. How do you suggest showering without flouride? A Shower head filter?

Also curious about this. Most reverse osmosis systems seem to be tailored to under the counter kitchen drinking water. I suppose I could fill up a bucket a few times a week and while in the shower wear a shower cap. I wish we could stop putting fluoride in the water. I cannot see any reason why it should be in there other than to hinder our mental powers.

Good video. But I would question why you’re using both saw palmetto AND Finasteride, as they both inhibit 5AR. Saw palmetto actually targets types of 5AR that are not involved in hair loss at a greater percentage than Finasteride. So consider ditching saw palmetto, it’s redundant and more deleterious than Finasteride. Also consider using Finasteride topically (crush 10-25% of your normal oral dose into your minoxidil). You can also get pharmaceutical grade topical Finasteride, but they usually contain way too much Finasteride. Discontinuing the saw palmetto and switching to topical Finasteride will probably improve your mood slightly.

@@billberg.I started taking topical finasteride after being on finasteride medication for years now. Gives me bad dandruff and itchy scalp. Thinking on going back to oral fins

I must say that minoxidil treatments and all are great. But in the end baldness will win. The next step is just to embrace it.

Instead of a roller, I recommend a dermastamp. It goes in straight by design and the length is adjustable

Andre Agassi was a super sportive tennis ace and still lost his hair. Sports is no solution for balding. Also a friend of mine does a lot of sports - no real improvement.

@@aurasensor yeah some people may not feel any difference whatsoever, but most say that Zinc and Copper are essential to retain your hair and its natural color

Balance both at 10:1 because high Zinc will reduce Copper.
