Just got my transplant done in January, although I tried to tell myself that it’s just superficial and hair isn’t a big deal. It was a HUGE drain on my mental health whether I like to admit it or not. After recovering and almost 10 months post surgery, I look younger than I was in high school or college.
    Thank you Turkey!!!! 🙏🙏🙏

I had transplants put in over 20 years ago. Still happy that I had them done. Here’s a few thing that I’ve experienced with my situation. 1.I never felt 100 confident that my transplants look natural. Most people don’t know, but there are some that know what to look for. 2. Early on, I mistakenly told people about my hair transplants. This made me known for it, I did not like that fact and it took years to get rid of that label. 3. I still always look at myself and want more hair. 4. The hard truth is, In the long run, I don’t think it changed my life much. I can never be sure, but I’ve learned that happiness comes from the inside and it wasn’t till I realized this, that I was finally good with who I am.

I have a similar story, I personally feel the transplant at the juncture in life where i was in my mid 20’s helped me a lot . Maybe not like how they say “success “ in todays world liek it did not help me gain money or fame but it did make me feel happy and I no longer got the look at my hairline . I would say if you are you g and feel bad about the hair situation do what you can , meds or transplant etc it won’t have any axe deo effect but you will feel much better looking at that face in the mirror.

This is the best video I've seen over the last 5 years. I had my 2nd hair transplant 5 months ago, and am usually looking for some comparison videos on progress post procedure. People often don't show the crown, and the top like you did. You showed every angle. I know I have to be patient, but feels good knowing I'm on track, and what there is to look forward to.
Thank you for sharing with us!

I've had the same procedure done, but it wasn't enough. Start looking into a product called " Irestore laser helmet" they're a little pricey but they have a 1-year money back guarantee, you will notice results within the first month. Apparently the LED lights generates hair growth.

People, open your eyes 👀 you can clearly see that the tonsure area has been thickened with additional hair!!! If you are completely bald on top of your head, there is no way in life that your hair will be as thick as it would be without hair loss, that is a fact and absolutely not possible!!!

Been on fin for around 4, maybe 5 years consistently now. 1mg per day. Can't say I've noticed any sides.
Managed to make a fully healthy baby in that time and now have a second on the way too. Never came off it to do so.
The horror stories may be real, but remember 1000s of people take that drug daily with no negatives, and just forget about it.

I took finasteride and it was horrible. Messed up my libido, thinned out my sperm, and messed up the quality of my sperm according to my wife’s OBGYN. He classified me as borderline sterile and advised me to freeze my sperm. I mentioned I was on finasteride and asked if I should stop it. He said yes but was convinced it wasn’t just the finasteride. Wife got pregnant weeks later. Then pregnant again after that.

I've been on it for 3 years. Experimenting with different doses to see what works for me. currently on 1 mg a day. Ive noticed slight side effects. Watery seamen, no morning wood, slightly less horny. But over all completely fine. And I got my gf pregnant while on them as well. I think all the side effects people talk about are mostly mental imo. Im so glad I went on fin and wish I went on it earlier tbh. It definitely has stabilised my hair loss.

I started losing hair in mid 20’s wasn’t having none of it. I started with 2 scalp reductions which saved donor hair for future transplants but do not recommend because of the scars and this option is not recommended by HT clinics very old school. I had 3 each transplant ops (a total of 5 procedures over 12 years for roughly 40k in todays money). I would have looked liked Larry from the 3 stooges if not. I still have some noticeable hair loss because I have long hair past my shoulders!but a good hair stylist and hair fibers (keratin) it looks good instead of a big fat bald spot from forehead to back! I have enough donor hair for one more HT OP but feel no need because a little hair loss is common as we age. Advice: spare no expense hire the best do your research. Next- being bald or shaving head like a cue ball under 70 years old is not a good look if you can avoid it and afford it fight hair loss as a priority. You will never regret it. I was/am a bachelor for life and having that full head of hair helped with confidence in asking the ladies out. Good luck!

The results are good. Regards finasteride, its worth remembering that dht levels vary tremendously between men. I am now 61 years old. I started losing my hair at about 22 but it was very slow due to my dht levels not being overly high. I eventually had a hair transplant at the age of 57 and a second one at 58. Best thing i ever did. It restored my hairline and filled in a lot of my bald patch. I really do feel like a new man and because my dht testosterone levels have probably dropped even more, my hair loss is so slow, no reason to take any medication. All i take is one tablet of viviscal a day to keep my hair follicles a bit healthier.

I’m also thinking about doing a HT (Hair transplant).
I had a receding hairline at 11 and thinning hair and you could really see the hair loss by 14 at the latest. I'm now 23 and my hair hasn't changed much since I was 17, just the corners a little. Otherwise my hair is a bit diffuse.
I've been thinking about getting HT for years, would it be ok to do it at 24/25 given the situation? My donor area is quite moderate I think. I think a HT would be really life changing, especially because I’m in my 20s!
My hair status is like 70-75 % from that guy in the video before his transplant here, I just got relatively big corners at the front.
    Thanks in advance!

Yours looks great, I had it done in Australia, they made a mess of it , I had big bald spot up top, miss match of greys and darks , implanted hair grows in different direction than what it should , front receding corners grow upwards like devils horns. Afterwards I had a meeting with the surgeon (who btw treated me appallingly in our meeting) . I was picked on by my colleagues at work with how I looked so it was decided another surgeon would do a second surgery to rectify it , just before the second go the other surgeon said to me “ we’re only doing this because you were picked on” , they should do it because it was a mess! They did it sparingly and I am still getting sun burnt on top of head being still thin so I’m just making do with what I have , never want to go back to that company again . I take finestride but the doctors don’t like prescribing me the pills because they’re dangerous but I get them and take them anyway

I also had my first HT and was in a similar situation as you were after your first - some coverage, but overall felt extremely incomplete. Really debating on getting a second and final one to cover the crown properly and fill the rest of the frontal lobes. I had about 1500 fue for the first, seemingly ill need atleast 2500 for the second. Not sure if I'll stop finastride though - my brother (who doesn't take it) has much worse hairloss than I do. The second I get off of it I know I'll lose another 50%. Unfortunately it's a lifelong situation unless I decide to just shave it all off.
