Although I enjoyed Eric and Princes’ playing on this song, Gary’s performance is my favorite. This is an absolute TREASURE! Saving this to my playlist. Gary rules!!!!
Prince was a selfish, self centered and egotistical child playing this. It was ALL ABOUT HIM! @@TC-dw6wg "Prince was a selfish, self centered and egotistical child playing this" No, he was not. Prince did exactly the performance that the song calls for. Such a shame this wasn’t released officially. One of the best versions.
the amateur who recorded that is a benefactor of mankind.Thank you.
Damn! Thanks 🙏🏻. The best I’ve seen. George looks so happy. He’s having fun and Gary Moore is phenomenal! To me the best solo of this song I’ve heard even though the others are great Moore’s just seems to fit what I think George was thinking.

What a humble, genuine man George Was.
George knows Gary just killed it! Look at his face
Couldn’t agree more. Prince’s solo is a good one but this one just nails the feeling 100%. Having said that, few guitarists could pull blues notes like Gary.

Prince at the Super Bowl in the rain during half time is where he killed it
Brilliant , every once in a while I come across a diamond in a UA-cam sea of mediocrity . I've never seen this before . Gary Moore was a master guitarist .It always amazed me how a left-handed man can play right-hand guitar so perfectly . Mark Knopfler is the same . As for George , what can you say , lead guitarist of the best band ever , genius , sadly missed . Thank you for showing this video , it's truly magic .
Rik Emmett from Triumph was another lefty who played as a righty. No Gary but a brilliant guitarist in his own right.
Duane Allman too
Am left handed and play right handed but I cannot play like that LOL
What a gem video. As a lefty. I think is was easy. Sure it took a while to get picking down. I could never imagine my right hand do what my left can on the fretboard.
Steve Morse is another one, and so is Shawn Lane, and they didn't let that slow them down exactly, right? Maybe we all do it wrong and should switch over to reach our full potential haha! :D
Gary Moore was always my inspiration on guitar and George was incredible 💔
I love the joy on George's face during this song. What a great watching this version. Thank you.
Phenomenal talents. This is beautiful. Thanks for putting it together!
So grateful to those who took the films. Two of the greatest together forever.
Total respect between them. Thanks for uploading.
Although I enjoyed Eric and Princes’ playing on this song, Gary’s performance is my favorite. This is an absolute TREASURE! Saving this to my playlist. Gary rules!!!!
Prince did rock this s#!+ tho.
Prince was a selfish, self centered and egotistical child playing this. It was ALL ABOUT HIM! He wasn’t nearly as mature (mentally, emotionally or spiritually) as the other musicians that night and therefore didn’t grasp what that night was all about. It was actually a very sad scenario to witness with all that showboating.
@@TC-dw6wg "Prince was a selfish, self centered and egotistical child playing this"
No, he was not. Prince did exactly the performance that the song calls for. What do you think Gary Moore is doing here, dummy? Being subtle? The whole point of the song is for the guitarist to take over to play the part of the "guitar weeping". Dummy. You sound moronic and suspiciously bigoted.
" and therefore didn’t grasp what that night was all about"
Prince didn't "grasp what that night was all about"?? Hey, stupid, the one who didn't "grasp what that night was all about" is you! On that same night, Prince got inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame also. That night was not all about George Harrison. You have NO IDEA what you are talking about! Thanks for proving you are a fool!
@@TC-dw6wg oh boo, he may have been a bit over the top but If George were there he would have been rocking out. Love Gary, Prince and, both of their versions 🤘🏻
@@TC-dw6wg No my friend, he was just Prince, uniq as Gary was,...
Wowww!! One of the best versions, you can see the joy in Harrison´s eyes from seeing Gary Moore solo-ing.... that way!
The original White Album version was Eric Clapton on guitar
And you are aged? 14? Clapton played only on this track! He was invited into Abbey Road studios because of the friction in The Beatles. by George.
He was happy doing what he loved.
Diego J the best version is the original with the "slow hands" solo.
Renaud
OMG, this is fantastic. Thank you for posting this epic piece of history. 1992 was a great year.
Gary Moore is still playing god-like solos from heaven. We see them as sunshine. God bless these two immortal artists. ❤
A GREAT version of this Anthem ! George clearly enjoying Gary's playing ! Let's "not compare" it is NOT a competition. Let's just enjoy !
Great Gary Moore"s perfomance with the guitar , it really weeps
I’ve been hooked on Gary Moore since 1974 he is a totally underrated player, Gary could play anything any style and he did it spot on, Gary played with Mick Jagger and he played with travelling Wilburys the list can be long of those who Gary played with or for 😊✌️
George and Gary together for a fantastic version of a universal masterpiece!
George Harrison’s masterpiece.
Fantastic. Better than fantastic. Wondrous. Awesome. Inspiring. Moving. All that and Moore.
holy shit by far the best live performance of this song, so much positive energy for a typically downish kind of song. George smiling and screaming after the solo is the cherry on top.
Nobody should be that good on a guitar , a true genius with natural born ability
Never heard a recording of Gary Moore playing this song! Thanks so much for uploading it.
George was a great guitarist. No question. Gary Moore was a master of his craft. So good to see them performing together. Respect. A lot of awe too.
try this. Capaldi Concert. was there for Evil Love. Gary...wonderful!! ua-cam.com/video/DUOwxZjnxF8/v-deo.html
Someone said that they never heard of Gary Moore? That proves he was the most underrated guitarist of all time. I like his version of "Red house".
@@williamdavis9943 gary moore is the greatest guitar player ever to say he is underrated is a sin every other great guitar player would have crafted themselves upon his playing style sticks out like a sore thumb slash schenker and everyone else he is the dogs bollocks believe me i know know.
I have watched this so many times and .... i am still Blown away just like George was.
May God bless them both.
Nobody Lived Every Note like the great GM... and that's why every note Still Lives!!... 🥰 🙏
