A composer of great quality, although misunderstood by his band mates. This song, by the way, required Clapton for the rest of The Beatles to feel some "enthusiasm" to record it.

One of the absolute best live performances of this tune with its mesmerizing cascade of instruments and spot-on vocals. Also a rare occasion where we get to see and hear George playing sections of lead guitar, with good pal Eric encouraging him on.
George Harrison was a humble and talented composer. His son did not know his father was such a famous Beatles member. His son found out from his classmates. George Harrison was a master musician the soul of the Beatles and the best guitarist amongst the 4.
They might have been a little underrated, but George was ranked the 31st greatest guitar player ever in Rolling Stone and Ringo was ranked the 13 best drummer ever.
George could play guitar damn good, Clapton was brought in by George because there was tension and he thought Eric being there would calm things , which it did.
I have watched this over and over absolutely top level , it sounds better each time, proper talented musicians ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. The likes of which only come around once in a lifetime
Listening to this in November 2024… My dad and uncle introduced me to this song through the Concert for Bangladesh videos. Seeing Clapton, Harrison, Starr, and more collaborate on a track is something that is so foreign in today’s music scene. I cherish this era and am grateful that these videos at least exist and am hopeful for a renaissance of this.
George was always my favorite Beatle (and I loved them all), and he’s one of my favorite guitarists ever. Very underrated in my opinion. Man…he could bring it!
Totally. I think some people are into Beatle backlash.. you hear people slag Ringo and it’s like, okay so this person is probably one of those drummers who plays inappropriately complex fills every 4 bars. 😂 give me a good George solo any time, beautiful subtle & melodic, and often has a kind of “sonic” edge like Hendrix. Like he really cared about his tone. His chimey Vox tones in the early days, and his later brilliant slide work inspired by the pitch inflections found in Indian music. I’d put Prince and Elliot Easton from The Cars in that category too. Just always tasteful, melodic, and simply sound amazing.
George Harrison and Eric Clapton sound amazing together. This is definitely a priceless experience. Your guitar gently weeps. That's a musical masterpiece. You both are making that guitar gently weep.
I've see a lot more talent on the stage at the one time if you minus everyone but Ringo & George & add John & Paul! That would've rocked the world if someone just stood up! Where is Paul MacCartney?

Also a rare occasion where we get to see and hear George playing sections of lead guitar, with good pal Eric encouraging him on.
A song that gives you goosebumps. It puts a smile on your face when you see all your musical idols united in this great peace of music,
Magical, stunning, breathtakingly beautiful performance. Miss you, George.
George Harrison was a humble and talented composer. His son did not know his father was such a famous Beatles member. His son found out from his classmates. George Harrison was a master musician the soul of the Beatles and the best guitarist amongst the 4.
Yeah. When he questioned George about not telling him he was a Beatle, George said yeah, I should have told you that !!!!
The dueling guitar solo with George and Clapton is great!
Given the love triangle it's commendable.
George Harrison.
Supremely underrated talent.
George Harrison & Underrated never
Belong in the same utterance, e v e r!!!
Not by me!
Especially Ringo. Most under rated drummer ever
They might have been a little underrated, but George was ranked the 31st greatest guitar player ever in Rolling Stone and Ringo was ranked the 13 best drummer ever.
My favorite Beatle❤
Ringo is simply the f...ing coolest drummer on the face of the Earth. And that Eric-George chemistry, completely out of this world!
Lot of history there. Can’t help thinking they wanted to break each others hands.
Ringo sucked as a drummer...he was just there @ the right time
@@user-ni2mz6pn5f, thanks for letting us know you're not a drummer. 😉
@@user-ni2mz6pn5f Ringo is the most expensive drummer in the world for a reason
@Dayga, Charlie Watts is another kind of cool, as in no-shred-of-emotion-whatsoever-cool.
This still gives me goosebumps all these years later. Effortless talent everywhere on this stage...
My god Clapton’s tone on that Gibson is epic. How about George going toe to toe with him in that final solo as well? Sensational!
The eye contact George gave was truly who he was. I loved it.
George could play guitar damn good, Clapton was brought in by George because there was tension and he thought Eric being there would calm things , which it did.
You're absolutely right about that
Strange to see Clapton on Les Paul and George on a Stratocaster
Sounds like he ran it through a compressor with a bit of chorus.
George was in good voice that night and playing with his buddy behind him. Harrison was totally underrated.
It's normal to want to cry when watching this beautiful concert, just talent on stage!
Son sencillamente extraordinarios, como ellos no hubieron, no hay ni habrán, felicitaciones
Seeing George's and Clapton's dueling guitar leads is priceless. And yes, this is one of George's best songs.
I have watched this over and over absolutely top level , it sounds better each time, proper talented musicians ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. The likes of which only come around once in a lifetime
Seeing so much talent all together in one place performing one of the most beautiful songs George ever composed. WOW!
2024 here. Love 💕 😀
Clapton, Phil Collins, Starr, and Harrison with intro by Elton John. Big Stars of the day.
I think George is the only player to whom Eric looks with pleasure, joy, happiness, respect. It’s all written on his face. Bless them both.
Check out the album "Riding with the King" with EC and BB King.
Quite remarkable ....... considering the 'history' between them?
Jean-Marie Boucherit
There's great admiration for Steve Winwood too, when they play together.
@@gregtaylor6146 Not really in my opinion, especially as Eric Clapton played lead guitar on the original when The Beatles recorded it!!
@@helen6103 - Save your exclamation marks dearie, and check Patti D'Arbanville?
Wow watching how much Clapton was loving playing with Harrison, all were super musicians , a few still are .
George has always been my Fav and I’m 77yrs. & wish he were still kikkin’ & pickin’ He’s the Best 🥰
Listening to this in November 2024…
My dad and uncle introduced me to this song through the Concert for Bangladesh videos.
Thought I was the only one
A very private humble man so much musical talent 🎶
It's a shame the Beatles had to breakup for everyone to find out that George was really talented.
Ue
George never forgets to say “thank you” ❤
George Harrison and Eric Clapton sound amazing together. This is definitely a priceless experience. Your guitar gently weeps. That's a musical masterpiece. You both are making that guitar gently weep.
If I remember well Eric played in the original version too
Rebecca how are you doing today 🤗
I'm blessed and doing well. How are you doing?@@Nguyen-ot5vk

I never get sick of listening to anything that the Beatles have ever done each song sounds like it's the first time I ever heard it
Totally amazing.
The trading guitar solo’s between Eric and George at the end are beautifully epic....alway R.I.P the great George Harrison....🙏🏻🎸
I can't believe I almost went through life without seeing this performance. The interweaving guitar solos... just wow.
Yes best live version of this song.
I agree. George right on song an outstanding vocal performance. Nailed it
You took the words from my mouth. Never saw a crew like that before. Harrrison, Star, Clapton, John, Collins, Lynne....just amazing.
rock….n……roll 👏🏼
@@johnt7630 with Harrison, check the one with Prince :)
Great classic song by George Harrison. I've never seen so much talent on the stage at one time. 😍👍
Concordo plenamente contigo
I've see a lot more talent on the stage at the one time if you minus everyone but Ringo & George & add John & Paul! That would've rocked the world if someone just stood up! Where is Paul MacCartney?

I LOVE this version!!! George was getting down - I've never seen him move so much!!! It is a true toe tapper!!! 👣🐾 George I Love you & you are missed. Your music was & is truly divine. Rest easy, you & John.💞💓🕊️🌅🎸🎸🌹🌹🥰🥰🥰💖🎶🎵🎶🎆
Simply fantastic. This song proved to be one of George's best ever vocal pieces; and here he is leading a mega-team with pure, natural ease.
One of my all-time favorite clips of all these talented individuals and their collaborations. They played a lot together over the years in their many stints crossing paths.
One of the best beatles songs still makes the hair on my neck stand on end 50 years later 👍👏👏👏👍😁
These great artists pay tribute to George and Ringo.
Amazing!!
Hi Jaime😂😂😂😂, how are you Doing
