You are saying things as if it's a fact... A lot of what you claim are just rumors (like the stalking on fb) other things are not enough to charge for murder (transfer DNA). Even less render someone guilty without trial.
@j.artiste8596 this is why social media has absolutely ruined the right to a fair trial.
They are protecting themselves..local law enforcement bungled this..FBI wouldn't go near it..this smells..people who have nothing to hide, hide nothing
None of that is even necessary facts. Just hearsey. I believe the Internet is ruining people's ability to even decipher real from fake let alone have them be a jury of your peers. I am convinced that the entire judicial, political, and public is just trash at this point. We need a re-vamp immediately.
A new kind of evil was birthed the awful day this happened.
Don't we get access to documents and things later?
He is guilty and he is a narcissist. If he gets away with this, it’s terrifying
Kohberger is one of those MGTOW dudes ! This is angry man and female hatred syndrome. He can't wait to see that reaction of the jurors as they hear and see the grisly details. He gets off on the reactions and emotions. - Textbook sociopath -
He won’t. I promose
@@mandalee8148 Dude is 'Silence of the Lambs'
He is not getting away with anything. He believes he will as much as he believed he wouldn't get caught.
@WalpNacht Are you MGTOW?
I had assumed that portions of the hearing would be closed because the Grand Jury is a secret "closed" process as well, and portions of what they are arguing have to do with these already secret proceedings, so to me it did not seem like the outlier that it is being made out to be here.
This will be like the Lori Vallow trial. There were no video cameras allowed but the entire trial was audiotaped. It’s really not a big deal. It happens quite often
It should have been up to the parents.
He has to be the creepiest person on earth. He reeks of evilness.
@WalpNacht Sober Up lifetime loser and Incel
Camaras should be allowed transparency is very important and should never be a closed trial, the public needs to watch the trial.
They don’t want student to be afraid to come to their university and I think that’s why . To hide a terrible horrific crime
Bingo! They should really move this trial to another jurisdiction. To many people associated with the school. Multitude of Alumni as well.
This is too high profile to be closed off
I wonder if his original intention was SA, and that it got thwarted when he realized two people were inside. Makes more sense than simply breaking in to kill 4 random people.
His eyes are cold empty and evil
Give victims THEIR rights!!!! Cameras!!!! Yes
I just spent 2 weeks on the jury for a double murder. The press doesn’t need to be there. The public is only curious, not a true need to know. The families were tortured during the trial. I wouldn’t look down on them not being there. They don’t need to hear the terrible moment of their babies’ lives and see the naked broken bodies put out for the worth see.
I support cameras in the courtroom but feel filming the jury needs to be off limits
Filming the jury is ALWAYS off limits, so that's not even an issue.
THe TRUTH WILL STAND WHEN THE WORLD IS ON FIRE!!!
I hope the jury decides righteously. My opinion and intuition is that he did it😮
What if they arrested the wrong person?
I genuinely believe in the presumption of innocence, and as of right now, I do not think Kohberger is the killer.
I have yet to see anything that can't be reasonably explained away.
My money is still on the roommate DM. Can't wait to see how it all plays out.
Yet surviving roommate still heard nothing even tho we know one girl she did try to get away! No way it was quiet.
Why is Kohberger being approached like he is a victim? Is he a baby?
He is.
Why would they want to close the proceedings?
The hearing in question is regarding the grand jury proceedings, specifically the grand jurors themselves. Grand jury proceedings are confidential and the grand jurors' right to privacy outweighs public interest.
@@RubyRed77 so what once the jury is selected and the trial begins , it should be open to the media and public?
@@Rocdag This is the grand jury, i.e. the jury who indicted him on the charges in May, not the trial jury.
We knew the cameras were not going to be at the next hearing because that hearing had to do with the grand jury information. At least that's what I had read before. The judge hadn't decided about letting cameras in for the trial or any other hearing after this one.
Doesn't the courtroom belong to the USA citizens?
I thought our justice system was transparent??? Big lie!!
Of course. Let’s protect his rights and everyone else takes a back seat.
Is it going to be audio at least?
A Judge named "Judge." Now I've heard everything, except a reason for this trial NOT to be filmed. But no doubt the judge will explain if he decides to keep cameras out. And if he does, I will get a LOT more work done around my house than if I'm glued to UA-cam watching this.
It's a Phoney Baloney! a CIA staged hoax to sell, sell and make money.
The family should start a petition
Her parents need to zip it. They don't know where she went to sleep, just she was found with other victim. I kinda think she was in her iwn room, heard a commotion, and went into the room surprising the murderer.
The dog being left in her room is significant to me
I hope that the families gets their wish granted for cameras in the courtroom. 💯
There should be cameras and all proceedings recorded. It should not however be broadcast live to the public.
Why? If its going to be recorded and videod anyways?
@@ekrip8 it's should be recorded for the record and for future review if needed (example, appeal). Judges, court employees, witnesses and anyone involved aren't actors, social media personalities , or working for your/our entertainment. Let them do their jobs, like you are entitled to, without being criticized by millions. The case is public, let journalist and the public into the courtroom. But there is no value to the justice process in making it daytime television.
@@AcmeRocket That makes sense as long as the public and journalists are allowed into the courtroom. But what is your opinion about the Alex Murdaugh case which had cameras (excluding the jury) in the courtroom? Do you feel that interfered with everyone doing their jobs ?
@@ekrip8 that's just one case and there are many ways to answer that. but, I'll say, the Clerk wrote a book, went on a press tour, and now then verdict is in doubt . so 🤷
@@AcmeRocket The clerk would have done that regardless of cameras being in the court during the trial and the appeal was not because of cameras being allowed in the courtroom.
He’s a former student. He was kicked out before he was arrested for this crime. Even though he was a student at the time.
Right to a fair trial, which medias don’t always allow
That's why camera's should be in the courtroom.. It allows the evidence to be shown to prove if he's guilty or innocent.. It shows the public facts..
@@DD-dq1ed that should be up to the defendant and Judge to make that decision
Agreed...media often portrays a one side narrative, and seem too busy zooming in on the defendant's crotch, to do anything more...
Exactly! The public mon doesn’t allow a fair trial for sure!
@@blazinpyromaniacDefendant? It is solely up to the Judge.
There are plenty of cases not televised.
that's just plain wrong they shouldn't get special privilege's many more criminals with similar actions have had their messes broadcast on live tv for everyone to watch. Wrong and disgusting on this courts part.
Investigate the Judge
Ridiculous so far for a transparent trail
Yes, a clear trail. We wouldn’t want the trail to be opaque bc how would anyone get through?

The fact that it's literally Judge Judge makes this case all the more interesting
This whole case stinks
where’s the interview that the clips were from in this?
Wait, his title is Judge and his last name is Judge? Wow.
Soul contracts are fun.
What gets me is why his lawyer wants no cameras if he is innocent you would think bye all means cameras for sure 😮😮😮😮
What has the judge to hide from the public not to allow video registration from the court proceedings?
Video “registration” ??
Do not hide this
So SAD
I understand not having cameras right now, but after they pick a jury, what does it hurt?
It wouldn't hurt anything to have a televised trial once the jury has been picked. I wonder if any of the witnesses are being protected bc that's the only good reason for the lack of communication in the case
The is not real need for cameras other than the perverted lust of a public who loves hearing gory details and watching people in extreme states of emotion. Perhaps the trial should be recorded for archival purposes and for appeals, but these cases don't need to turn into the world's next melodrama. Have respect for the victims, the defendant and the system
Public Opinion cannot be used to publicly convict someone.
Especially when the fbi has no murder weapon and only compelling circumstantial evidence.
