It’s a mistake of human judgment to assume that a psychotic monster must appear on the outside as one. But there are MANY examples of horrible monsters who appeared “normal” and “nice” on the outside.
As to the victims he chose : these were 3 very attractive, fun- loving , happy young women who fit into society. They might have represented the women who would not have been interested in him, perhaps even the girls who had bullied him in elementary school. They loved life & other people - unlike him- and these very attributes might have made them his hated targets.
I agree… I believe the young man murdered was just “in the wrong place at the wrong time”. These young women are beautiful and it does make sense that he could have had a deep resentment against women in general as he has been rejected numerous times and “bullied”. It seems random and not random at the same time. Usually it’s a psychotic ex or something as a stabbing is obviously VERY personal. In this case I believe these were innocent women targeted just because of what they represented to him… like a perfect storm came together inside him. My ❤ goes out to all the victims and their loved ones.
its not suspicious for a phD student in criminology to study the psychology of criminals but it does seem that he might have been trying to understand his own psychology surrounding potential and possibly persistent thoughts and urges of criminal activity.
You study crime and punishment, it's about getting a job as a probation officer, detective, FBI, sheriff it a path to law school, it's not about making horror movies.
His alleged murders make sense when you look back at many other killers' motives . It's all about what they internalize and obsess over. We all want to understand "why", but sometimes we just can't. Thank goodness that a jury does not have to know a motive to convict.
Listened to a person talking about Dahmer, I think, they found his first killing was a 6,yo riding his bike. He was driving by and stabbed him without getting out. Psychopaths don't need a reason or they make up one they think sounds good. They have no feelings at all.
I watch trials and true crime docs all the time...but, there is just something I can't quite pinpoint about this guy. His eyes send chills down my spine, like they have nothing behind them, his look altogether just shakes me to my core and I can not get an understanding on it!
I have seen that look. It can appear attractive in some ways, but when you really get to know the person, you realize there was drug use, the person wants and needs attention, and at times are suicidal. In a way it is sad, but in another when it is all about getting attention it is maddening. That is what the essence of this is. They guy I knew that looked this way hanged himself. Wasn't getting what he needed or wanted from life.
when i was in high school in 2001 i use to play euchre with a bunch of people during lunch period. less than 5 years later, one of those guys slit a cops throat and is in prison for life. he was a really nice, quiet guy who kept to himself. you never really know someone. 🤷🏻♀️
@@mirabella2154 i’m a quiet person who keeps to myself. i like being alone, i have a few friends but i’d never murder someone. it’s not always quiet people that do these terrible things
Why do you think he was the same person he was in 2001? Things happen in life that changes or make people do bad things. You or anyone here is immune to the same fate. It is naive to think only some people are capable of evil. No child is born wanting to be a serial killer. Everyone has the potential for evil, no matter how innocent you think you are.
Very true. Psychopaths and Sociopaths are chameleons and study body movements and behavior then copy it to disappear into the crowd. Many are unassuming and you would never in a million years suspect them.
20 years ago, I was shot twice by a guy who had been stalking my girl (now my wife) and I for weeks. She broke it off with him months before without incident. We had no idea. I'm lucky to be alive today. My best advice to anyone is don't take tomorrow for granted. Also, you never truly know what someone's intentions are, no matter how long you've know them.
some people don’t have motivations, some people are just mentally ill and simply do things because they can and want to. sometimes there is no reason. in this case, he was kaylees stalker and had stalked them and the house for months
I agree. I think he just hated women and since he had a fascination with crime just wanted to commit a crime. He choose this house likely because it was just an easy target. If the guy was on drugs like heroin what do you expect? Their brains are already messed up.
What a strange choice of age spectrum. A lot can happen to a person at any age, but especially during puberty, so between 12 and 18, and also when they’re around 24 which is when the frontal lobe fully develops.
@@ES11777they mean mentally because you’re starting to build that foundation and trying to find your place in the world. Your prefrontal cortex stops developing at age 25 and drugs or poor lifestyle can cause a lot of damage.
I can't help but feel that he may have killed before but just hasn't been caught until now. Authorities need to look into Missing Person and Murder cases in places where he has lived and through places he may have travelled.
I don't believe that tinder chick! Has she shown any proof that this is true? just like during the Chris Watts case that weird guy came out and said that he was dating Chris and met him through tinder which later on was proving a lie
It's funny how they talk about how much receipts mean and how many random people could just make anything up and right after put up a video of an attention seeking girl with no receipts
He actually helped save the life of a staff member who was having a medical emergency. Very bizarre that he went from saving a life to taking four lives.
We lived a Stones Throw from Jeffrey Dahmer . Didn't know him yet he was only 5 years younger. Fast forward to his trial, many people thought he was odd, not particularly evil or bad. Yet as more information came out, there were people who knew he had a fascination with dead small animals.. The area he grew up in is like a wonderland. Even today 30-40 years later. This is heartbreaking for the Moscow families and friends. Truly.
I am pretty sure Leonardo Davinci disssecttted animals and humans (deceased) to study every aspect of the body. I am not sure if Dahmer tortturred or just found them and dissected them.
Interesting. My uncle ran into the Greenriver killer at a tackle shop near B.C and after he was arrested, my uncle described the Greenriver killer from his interaction with him in public as… “he just seemed friendly and talked to me for a few minutes like anyone else. Not the kind of person who people suspect is a serial killer.”
dude what are you talking about? Dahmer was an absolute flippin WEIRDO in high school. add-in those that knew he had a fascination with dead animals, add-in no girlfriends and you can start profiling him.

When he was coming out of the room when the roommate saw him coming out as she hears a whimper. Him saying " It's OK I'm gonna help you." I believe he had just attacked them but unfortunately one of the girls was still alive barely. That's what I get out of it. I couldn't imagine being attacked like that and him walking away as I'm dieing. I hope and pray that people everywhere are taking extra steps to keep safe. GOD BLESS. AMEN.
The way I understood it is that the surviving roommate heard him say that before she saw him, not that he said that to her. I believe he said that to XK who very likely came face to face with him, as her TikTok activity showed she was active around 4 am so still awake. XK might have heard the commotion upstairs and came out to investigate coming face to face with him at which point he said that to her.
That's correct. The typical line of a physo murderer - teasing her mind when he saw how frightened and vulnerable she was then gaining the sense of control by murdering her.
@@melonmelon7427 crazy , I still don't understand how he did all 4 without any issues. There's always 1that lives or gets away or something. None of these people kicked him off and screamed ?? how?
It sickens me how everybody prejudges this guy, because he looks like stolen from a film noir set. The way this program ask: "Oh, why did he do it?" But, just for the record, we don't no if he did it yet - what a lazy excuse. It is all a highly sensationalist circus, that could cost an innocent suspect life and have a killer run free. You have an obligation to keep your report responsible and sober!
I believe that he was trying to see if he was smart enough to kill and get away with it, by using what he was taught in school! He is a huge narcissist!!
I had this theory at first myself but as some evidence has come out I no longer believe this. He made far to many mistakes for someone with his knowledge if he were just trying to see if he could do it for that reason. First and foremost,.leaving behind the knife sheath. Even if there had been no DNA on it to trace it is solid evidence that could possibly be traced to manufacturers, selling companies, and purchaser if credit or bank card used. Secondly, having his cell phone with him up to 12 times as he was in the area of the murder scene and while he turned it off on the specific hours during the crime he returned afterward with his phone on as he drove passed the crime scene. He would have been smart enough (you would think) to not have his phone with him any time he was near that house. Not just turned off during the commission of the crime. Another mistake is traveling there in his own vehicle. To many mistakes for someone with his knowledge. That puzzles me. Maybe his hate and rage took over his thought process. I'm sure the police have more evidence, I just wonder if they have any idea of motive.
He certainly didnt know much.. to leave a knife sheath on a vics bed ... to pick a house where multiple people lived.. to drive by and ping on the cell tower out their house a million times. Very mistake filled to be a phd studying criminology. And this guy is supposed to be smart???
@@newway9857 no one seems to consider that it was his intention to get caught. I believe its possible that he wants to see if he can outsmart the judicial system not avoid capture.
The burden of proof in the legal system is on the prosecution, but that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the general public viewing someone as guilty when evidence overwhelmingly points to it. His DNA was on the knife sheath and CCTV footage caught him in the area at the time, apparently almost returning to the scene when he realized he left the knife sheath. Of course, it's good to be open to the remote chance that he's been framed, but that seems very unlikely.
Make sure to run out and by a giant microphone and show all of your old football pics from high school in every shot. Or sound like your about to cry on TikTok bc you knew him before supposedly. Gross!
I feel as if I am the only person reminding people it's not our place to immediately assume guilt, as much as we all want someone pay for the horrific deaths those four children suffered, lets be sure it's the right person. Prayers for all of the families, including his.
You are definitely one of the few, if not the only person and it’s falling on deaf ears. But no amount of evidence will change peoples need to assign guilt. I read so many comments regarding the “massive amount of evidence”, which is simply not true. Do these people CARE about such facts? Apparently not.
I grew up watching every episode of criminal minds, law & order etc. I always prided myself in having super strong intuition. In HS I started crushing on a boy in my class. I was a senior and we were gonna meet at my house one day and then I got this terrible feeling and cancelled. A week later his face was all over the news. He had attempted to kidnap and assault multiple women, succeeding in one attempt. He ended up escaping from custody and there was manhunt all over the city. I remember feeling so disgusted and confused. When I look back he had all the signs of a sociopath but I was completely blinded by his charm. It’s a very eerie feeling when the truth comes out about someone you know in this way
Thanks for bringing all this information together brother because I'm looking for everything in relation to this case and it seems that almost no one really says anything really about how it's happened so far!
Having a class with someone doesn’t mean you know someone ! Idk why the media puts all these statements on. It’s mostly likely not going to happen but can you imagine if for some reason he proves his innocence. No matter what in the public opinion he is done . And before anyone starts with the whole he is guilty and blah blah I’m NOT saying he is innocent I’m NOT saying he is guilty . I’m just saying wait till legal stuff plays out and until then the media shouldn’t give attention to people who in reality can’t say they know him .
Even if it had already gone to trial and he was found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, I see no reason to give these people any attention. It's what they are looking for. It's pathetic.

@Francisco Toscano calling someone ugly is not a joke its called bullying...... think before you speak this can really effect someone's mental health you know......
My ex was extremely abusive, but he managed to fool most people around him/us. For the most part anyone that knew him socially thought he was amazing and just a super funny person. He was always happy and joking with them and went out of his way to be nice and helpful. These people may have considered him 'friends' but to me I considered them associates. However our friends or those much closer to us/him knew his true colours. It was impossible for him to keep up his facade the whole time. I mean I fell for it at the beginning, even living with him being with him 24/7, it took me months nearly years to realise just how bad he was, I think he tried harder to hide it from me. Of course there is only so long someone can hide their dark side, and it's so complex to know the intentions of whether some people have any control over these emotions or not. I really think it's a mental illness and it absolutely ruins peoples lives
Mental illness, everyone's go to excuse. It's literally crazy that folks cannot grasp the fact that there people around us who are evil & don't care, the bad seed. There is a reason some animals eat their young..
I believe his only reason was solely his own bloodlust. I believe he was looking for a victim when he found these girls. If it was revenge, he would have taken the time to talk to them and get into their heads. He would want to hurt them mentally and emotionally, not just quickly kill them. He was in and out too quick for this to be a personal attack on them. It was just him living out his fantasy.
I think he may have done a horrifying multiple murder like this mostly for the attention and fame, not that he doesn't have some urge to kill or punish, or that the blood lust thing isn't very real with some serial killers, like Ted Bundy for example. He felt like killing himself once before, and maybe he decided this is the way he wanted to go out. The second most likely possibility is that he thought he could outsmart the police, and that he wouldn't be caught because he's too intelligent. However, when it came down to the actual murders, nothing was simple, and when he left the sheath behind, now knowing it had his DNA on the snap, it's pretty much over for him. I don't think he'll even fight it or reveal his motives, because he now knows they probably have a ton of other evidence. He has not given up though, he'll want a long trial, see how many fans (incels mostly) and marriage proposals he can get along the way, or authors wanting to write books about him.
That girl is an attention seeker. She hears some dude she knew from high school is charged with a quadruple murder, and she combs through not only pictures but old texts to put together a montage. But she “isn’t looking for clout” ?? Yeah…right.
I once came into contact with a young man who was studying at Washington University in Saint Louis Missouri. He told me that he was having like a tape recorded message playing in his head that wouldn't stop. He also said he was working on his master's in mathematics. I know stress can cause such things like a song in your head, playing over and over again, but not where it becomes non stop. Anyhow, he had an operation called a frontal lobotomy and that stopped that tape from playing. I don't know if he was ever going back to the University to study. But the fact remains that over stimulus of the brain can lead to mental illness. Not everyone is an Einstein...

Re the neighbor who said that after the murders BK asked if he had heard about it and said that it “seems there are no leads” and that it “seems it was a crime of passion”, this is what MANY ppl were saying! Officials and reporters and guests and everywhere online and in everyday conversations! To suggest that this is incriminating is really stretching it, and in fact, it’s helping to foster a mob mentality that wants to burn BK at the stake without knowing all the facts and without him being found guilty. Pretty disappointed in LCN.
When I was in high school there was a guy at my friend table who I ate lunch with every day. He was very clean cut, quiet and kind. Several years later I saw him in the news that he killed his three young daughters to get revenge on his ex wife. I could NOT believe it was the same person. You never know people or what may drive them to this, or maybe he snapped, who knows-I just can’t believe it, I’d have never imagined he’s grow up to do that.
His night time routine was most likely due to his school schedule. Me personally I struggle to sleep at night and most of my sleep happens during the day so if I can get away with it I do most of my cleaning and regular living at night, but that doesn't mean anything. I cannot wait to hear all there is to be had when all there is to be out in the open.
But his vacuuming and doing other loud activities could also indicate antisocial traits. He knows a family lives below him, knows there are kids and tired parents. As self conscious as he was, I highly doubt he was oblivious to how his noise could affect them. No, I think he made the deliberate choice to do these things. Social norms would dictate otherwise hence, antisocial
But even the people who knew him or met him at some point, even the people who describe him as a nice guy, they've all also said something like "he was odd" or different, or quiet, or a loner, or just something seemed off with him. Another thing I've heard most all say was that he was intelligent and wanted everyone to know he was. If we go back to the Tapatalk postings, he'd been having mental problems as early back as 15-16 years old, he stated Sept 21, 2009. Him recalling that specific date, and not just a month or year, makes me believe that he may have experienced something traumatic on that date or in the couple days leading up to that date...and event that caused him a LOT of fear and anxiety, that sent him into that dark place. Now, do not get me wrong...there are NO excuses for what he did and he has to pay the price if he's guilty, but I do always wish to understand causes or what lead up to something so horrific.

Thats why I think he majored in it too. Some people study psychology for the real reason of trying to figure themselves out. No difference here.

Most if not all shrinks are troubled. Jordan Peterson for example.
His alleged murders make sense when you look back at many other killers' motives . It's all about what they internalize and obsess over. We all want to understand "why", but sometimes we just can't. Thank goodness that a jury does not have to know a motive to convict.
We really need to find out
Listened to a person talking about Dahmer, I think, they found his first killing was a 6,yo riding his bike. He was driving by and stabbed him without getting out. Psychopaths don't need a reason or they make up one they think sounds good. They have no feelings at all.

But took his phone to the scene 10 times before the crime . Not verry smart 🤦♂️
He would of learned never leave a witness alive.
He certainly didnt know much.. to leave a knife sheath on a vics bed ... to pick a house where multiple people lived.. to drive by and ping on the cell tower out their house a million times. Very mistake filled to be a phd studying criminology. And this guy is supposed to be smart???

It's pretty sick how in America we have a presumption of innocence but nobody gives people that in conversation.

The cartoon hair girl has a "I need attention, I could have been killed, please feel sorry for me" vibe.
From what Josh said, it sounds like either something major changed in a short time, or his ability to handle something brand new to him revealed something about him that was there all along.
He said something when he was caught, "am I the only one being arrested"?
No, he never did say that
The second ‘blast from the past’ says that Kohberger was “a pudgy guy’ at university, in 2018. I thought Kohberger had lost the excess weight by his last year of high school. Yo-yo?
exactly
I thought the same thing.
Hmmm, ... someone's pants are on fire
I thought so too!!!!!
I'm sure his classmates said he came back for the last year of hs having lost the weight fast in the break.
Does anyone think it’s possible Bryan was back on heroin? It wouldn’t turn him into a murderer, but it would explain the weight loss.
Yeah and drugs start changing personalities and some people actually flip on drugs and it makes them psychotic
Good point. Drugs could have definitely made him feel like he could get away with the crime.
It’s amazing to me that this man has already been deemed guilty for all intents and purposes before getting a chance to have his day in court. Shame on everyone who has already made up their mind.
His 'visual snow' forum posts are really troubling, maybe if he had got help as teenager all this horror would never have happened 😥
His parents did try to help him he even talks about all the tests finding nothing in his posts.
@Facts Based. what makes you think this?
And his Reddit and his FB
@Facts Based. based on Al evidence I’m pretty sure he did but if it turns out he didn’t I wonder how awkward it’s gonna be when he has to interact with people again. Lots of burnt bridges with all the people talking about him.
Possibly
What does a cold blooded murderer look like??? And if you really do know there are over 300,000 cold cases in the USA right now. You should help with that!!!
The only story I believe is the girl that said he was heroin addict .
This is so true
Yeah I believe she got meth and herione mixed up though.. herione addict do not act like this.. meth addicts YES!
You can see his eyes they wouldn't be so wide on herione they would be low and pinned dude was on amphetamine or methamphetamine I guarantee it
@@dogworld3485 I'd like to know what proof anyone has he was a heroin addict. Don't you have to shoot heroin? It seems like an addiction that can't be easily kept hidden.
I love your dog! What a cutie! 💓🐕💓
He dodged a bullet with that tinder date
What a sick thing to say. She was thr one who dodged a bullet he's a pycho path show some respect defending a criminal are you one .......🤮🤮🤮
@@jasminejohnstone1803 I was just saying she ended up ugly. Its supposed to be a joke, I guess nowadays I must preface with that
@Francisco Toscano calling someone ugly is not a joke its called bullying...... think before you speak this can really effect someone's mental health you know......
Kohberger's friends? I can't imagine that a guy like him had friends!
dennis rader had a wife and kids
Did you even try to watch the video and listen of course you didn't. F00l
Ted Bundy had a girlfriend.
I think the same 💯
Exactly, he was stalking these girls. They didn’t know him at all!
@Facts Based. - we shall see!🙄
I think he may have done a horrifying multiple murder like this mostly for the attention and fame, not that he doesn't have some urge to kill or punish, or that the blood lust thing isn't very real with some serial killers, like Ted Bundy for example.
Could be!
That girl is an attention seeker. She hears some dude she knew from high school is charged with a quadruple murder, and she combs through not only pictures but old texts to put together a montage. But she “isn’t looking for clout” ?? Yeah…right.
13:00 Oh yeah....The infamous "Me me me me" routine...."Oh look guys....It could have been me" "See how important and interesting I am?!"
Love seeing all these people make it about them
You don't know someone is evil until you know.
Oh wow! 5 people that know him. Hard hitting info
Are you seriously advocating for lobotomies? Lol
Wow..What a story..and interesting procedure Glad that surgery fixed his problem. I wish we can know more about this like what exactly his pre surgery illness is called the medical term for it and what kinda lobotomy. Was it experimental op? Where can we find more info about it? If its similar kinda condition like BK has & if it were done on him, I wonder if that could help him cure his condition..🤔
That’s interesting, but did you like Pointers Pizza is what I want to know 😉
@@Observing-NPCs absolutely not. ..just saying it happens
@@notimetodienttd1115 I don't know...
But I do know that the surgery entails using a strip of gold inserted in the eye cavity and severs the connection of the frontal lobe.
I'm not a medical person, but an automotive technician by trade, so I've a deep understanding of the mechanics involved.
That person that told me his story was in the hospital at the same time I was. I can't give you anymore details, because of confidentiality.
This maybe if more interest to you, a young man, supervisor for the railroad back in the late 1800s was accidentally injured when a spike was accidentally shot up in the air and went through his skull. He had lost his ability to control his emotions and became disabled. Many Drs began to study him and found his frontal lobe had been disconnected, as well as more injury to his brain.
Sorry, but I don't know anything more about it. But you can find that story by Googling it. Thanks for your interest 🙂
To the first girl: just because it’s true doesn’t mean it’s not clout chasing.
Agree! Just talk to the police, lady.
She’s so excited that she’s finally gonna get some attention for once in her life that she’s shaking lmao
yeah, she is quite the typical tiktok cloud chasing "less than average" person, at least she put the makeup on.
for someone who represents themselves as a legal expert you sure pay little regard to a mans presumed innocence. for shame if you ask me as this only benefits one person with selfish motives unrelated to the case and damages someone possibly beyond repair regardless of guilt. again, for shame
I, too, live in North America. They should interview me. I'm practically his brother.
The girl with red hair had to do the typical "how can I make this about me"
Everybody has a bit of narcissism in them, but people who come out like these people have a bit more than that. Unless they are named in the case somewhere, idgaf what Miss. Desperado has to say.
I really enjoy this podcast!
This!!
If he was truly innocent he’d be screaming it out at the top of his lungs. No?
His night time routine was most likely due to his school schedule. Me personally I struggle to sleep at night and most of my sleep happens during the day so if I can get away with it I do most of my cleaning and regular living at night, but that doesn't mean anything.
I cannot wait to hear all there is to be had when all there is to be out in the open.
It’s cuz his drug addiction.
Me too. I do my cleaning etc. at night
I take my trash out usually before the neighbors are up. I have insomnia.
It might mean something. For instance, it could speak to sleep disturbance which is often indicitive of mental illness.
There are many Bryan Kohbergers out there!
I pray that this man will spend the rest of his life behind bars- PLEASE!!!
You are evil to convict an innocent person, without a trial ...
That why I wonder about his child hood is there something his parents is not telling.
Every teenage boy is odd in the eyes of teenage girls.
Also in hindsight, being aware of his crimes, your description/opinion from back in school, when you knew him, would be corrupted by your current opinion.
Just because someone is quiet and a loner doesn't mean they are odd.
Possibly on the autism spectrum. Not odd but different thought process.
No. This is weird stop this. These are people looking for 15 minutes and have 0 relevance to this case. Stop normalizing this
On a Tinder date, if a man insists on coming up to your dorm room after the first date, DO NOT LET HIM UP! For God Sake!
So he behaved like a majority of socially awkward guys that don't interact with females much.. I hate ppl that try to take a tragedy and make it about themselves.
