The only way a restraining order/order of protection is valid and effective is if a cop happens to be right there witnessing it being violated. Reporting a violation is absolutely pointless if the crime wasn't witnessed. It's the word of the victim against the violator. Otherwise it's only 'hearsay'.
It means if they come there they will be arrested. 😂 Obviously means something. Tell us your big brain plan for how long we should lock him up. A day? Week? Months?

i would not doubt if it's higher, but i was raised by military parents. they had no business having kids. real derranged and not quite right in the head with all kinds of mental issues. abuse was the norm.
I worked for a domestic abuse charity. The prosecution rate for domestic abuse/intimate partner violence in the country I live in was around 3%. In one of the few cases we had go to trial, the abuser was a judge who had presided over other domestic abuse cases. We had many police officers accused of abuse, but they never made it it to trial. When I first started working with the survivors, we had some training, and there was a list of something like the occupations most likely to be abusers and I couldn't believe that police officers were on the list.
"Just let me love on you." Sounds like a way to make you feel bad for not wanting to be touched. I use to go through what I called terror sessions with my ex. It could last hours. It would involve him holding me down while screaming at me, threatening my life, and at times being calm and saying stuff about how he thought we could work things out and lots of I love you. When he would sound more calm I'd agree to whatever he said to try to get away and he would struggle with me again when I tried to move with usually a hit thrown in followed by I'm sorry but you made me do it kind of a thing. Sometimes I couldn't get away and others I could but he'd catch up to me and pin me against a wall or tackle me to the floor. Just wherever we were. It's terrifying because you don't know what he will do. You just know you can't leave and scared for your life and scared what he might do if you call the police. When those started it sounds a lot like what she went through. I hope she gets away from him because it will only get worse.
Admittedly I'm baffled she knows he's the guy who pulled the vet emergency 'stunt' and still chooses to date him. Not surprised the guy is a domestic abuser though.

😶 Makes me wonder about police officer hiring protocol.
Then they're given a side arm.
I didn't need to even look at the list ...I worked with them in the past
They don’t need to know anything more than it’s her house, she’s asked him to leave and he won’t go!!
