The day we received this magnificent guitar at home we saw a big dream come true. It was like a gift from heaven and the beauty and elegance of this instrument made us all happy in the family. For me, who doesn't play guitar, it was like a work of art, a mysterious object that will always remind me of Joe's genius and his extraordinary passion. I'm happy and that's thanks to Joe
The SG is the main style of guitars I build for myself. They are all based on my original 1972 SG 'Student" model It Has a VERY narrow nut and came only with a neck pickup. There is nothing like the balance and feel of an SG. Great choice Joe.
By the way thank you for keeping the blues alive I feel comforted knowing they will be left in good hands.
Probablythe best SG I’ve ever played. Thank god I took a personal day to try one of these bad boys out😂😂 so amazing🔥🔥
Thank you Joe and you take me to my younger days when I played the guitar! As well for your wonderful skills!👏👏👏👏
Yup. I’m getting one. Such a gorgeous guitar.
I really want a “Nerdville” case.🎉
Looks beautiful. Sounds great. Though I know almost nothing about electric guitars technically, I do know how to listen and enjoy them. I trust Joe’s opinion. Hope this is another great success for him!
That's my year model as well ❤! Thanks Epiphone. Congratulations on 150 years 🎉
Just got mine today and I LOVE it!
Thanks Joe, these Epiphones are the best in a long time. I don't know how, but the construction is super tight on Lazarus vs many other overseas-built guitars.
Lovely replication 💜
I used to have a 1962 Epiphone Century. I miss that guitar!
Wish I could afford one. Id set it up like Derek Trucks for slide. Love Joe, amazing player
YOU are a Special Order, Joe! Jesus and Joe are all I need!!! That some sweeeeet sounding magic, my friend! 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽🎸🙏🏽
Very..very cool 🎉
That's a cool addition to the group.
Joe🎉🎸ПРАВИЛЬНО ГОВОРЯТ С ГОЛОВЫ ДО ПЯТ 😊😊🎵ВЕСЬ В МУЗЫКЕ🎸❤️🔥БРАВО👏👏👏
Great video JOE❤ and very amazing guitar you have there my Love🥰 Congratulations my Master JOE❤😍👍😘
looks beautiful, sounds great, I like this "tinny" undertone ❤️
The tinny tone you’re hearing is what junky chinese electronics sound like.
@@elpresidente5881 I have reported you for review!
OMG....i can't save enought to all your guitars Joe, they are all amazing, i want them all!
I think these Joe Bonamassa limited editions are some of Epiphone's best work. I've got an Epi AMOS Flying V and it's incredible. Of course, back then the price was a thousand dollars less.
I have an Amos as well, paid 2k for it earlier this year 2nd hand and I can safely say, its still worth it.
Here in Sydney, Australia, I always miss out!
Awesome
Stunning Joe
Joe, i love you! The best music
Epiphone is killing it with their signature guitars and non-signature guitars in general for their quality as opposed to Gibson IMHO.
I own the Epiphone 61 SG Standard and it is flawless from the fit and finish and staying in tune to the sound and play ability. I've owned three Gibson SG's from a Standard to a Supreme and I've sold them all because they just weren't very good. They never stayed in tune and the fit and finish was always lacking.
Further, I own the Epiphone Joe Bonamassa Black Beauty Les Paul and hands down it's the best Les Paul I've ever owned and I've owned four Gibson Les Pauls from a Standard to a Supreme and everything in between and don't own a single one anymore. They just weren't very good, never stayed in tune (despite taking them to a luthier) and the fit and finish was sub-par for the premium price.
Epiphone rocks and is way better than Gibson especially for the price. Gibsons are way overrated and way overpriced.
We paid a fortune for the signed Joe Les Paul. Darn thing fell out of its stand for no reason and broke the neck.
It's repaired but worth nothing now.
Agent R with his new Epiphone Dark Wine Red Neuraliser 👑😎🎸❤❤❤
Joe, can you make a Joe Bonamassa signature Fender G-Dec, with a nice touch screen, drum machine, Bonamassa backing tracks, a 16 track recording device built in and whatever else you can put in your amp??
GREAT GUITAR.......WITH
JOE'S FINGERS, BECOMES
THE BEST!!!
Think instead of having Joe B signature models for rare guitars, he should probably start his own company and release replicas of all the Nerdville equipment he has.
I bought a new gibson 68 SG Custom. I let it go in the 80's for next to nothing. Just recently I decided to find one
At 12,000$ for a vintage one like I had, I could not afford it.
When the Epi 63 Custom came out at 1,400$ I ordered one from Epi. 3 day delivery. Ok how is it. Fantastic! Workmanship, finish, parts A+. Sounds great and is easy on the hands. And the fixed the out of phase middle pickup that was common in the vintage. Over priced NO! Worth every dollar. I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN. Thanks Joe, Epiphone and Gibson.
No, no, no... I have a Lazarus already! 😂
Same here!
Samantha Fish wants one in white...🤩
I am sure it’s a great guitar . $1,399 at Guitar Center. I love Epi’s, I can’t justify the price
Exactly. Youre paying the artificially inflated price that they predict what it " might be worth " in 20 years . In other words , they're getting their money up front .
Look at it this way.
The Ford BOSS mustang in 69 , sold for less than 6,000 dollars. Now it's worth a quarter million. Ford got none of that money.
Epiphone , just like greedy Gibson is trying to cash in on projected collectors market in 20 years.
Of course Jimi Hendrix signature series guitars are basically worthless now since the novelty wore off. These will be nothing more than what they are now. I cheap knockoff of a guiitar , joe NEVER played .
🎸❤️
sweet👍🍷
This is a big deal. Joe has had a long aversion to the Gibson SG. (Proof: How often have you seen him playing one during his long career?) I'm guessing between that Maestro and that triple pickup config, that's a well-balanced, screaming and sustaining machine!
Personally, I like those models because that middle pickup can simply be inserted into any other tone configuration at any time. Right on, man!
👍👍🍺
🤩👍
£1499 insane price.
He could make wet string sound great
Super neck heavy
I would like to see you play some of your signature Epiphone guitars on stage. I think it would be cool. Other guys do it and it would do a lot for the brand.
What's with the epiphones ? Why not Gibson?
It would be worth the money Epiphone are asking only if it had Gibson pickups and a Gibson style open book headstock. Epiphone have made Epiphone's with Gibson pickups and Gibson style open book headstocks before so dont tell me it cant be done.
Slow down Joe, we can't keep up with you 😊
The day I pay €1,700 for a Chinese Epiphone 🤦♂️
CNC, if there is good quality control, means even China guitars can be good, I have an original ‘66 SG, but Japan made, even PRS from China are good, it’s a different world now! The variety and price available now means instead of one Gibson, you could have 3 good guitars
@@jonathanstrand2474 but Chinese labour is still much lower
@@jonathanstrand2474
Regardless of the quality.
Why would you want to support an evil oppressive government that literally harvests its own citizens organs?
Don't knock it til you try it. My dream guitar has always been a 63 custom SG. I personally can't afford to pay 30 to 40 grand for it, so this does just fine. Yes I own one of these as well as his 58 black beauty, which is another one of my dream guitars. So, yes I'll pay way less for a copy of my dream guitars. It's just his way of bringing something that all us guitarists would love to own but can't afford the originals.
It's all about value and quality. You are thick.
I would like to see joe play a real gig using only his epiphone signature guitars
No chance of that.
I can't believe they put Epiphone Probuckers in this thing. Those pups suuuuuck. They usually put good ones in joe's models, Burstbuckers etc. At $1,400 they should have Gibson pickups in there. Maybe bc it has 3 pickups?
They did the same with the Alex Lifeson model, with same price, same cheap electronics... its just greed, nothing can justify it
Ifey could make lefties...
I have mentioned before, I will do it again...I have a fix for the CRAPPY our of phase sound on your Original 63' and all three pickup Gibson's......
NO Drilling Holes or PUSH PULL switching I did two decades ago on my 61' custom!! contact me to work out a deal!
Epiphones shouldnt cost 1600 squid....
The guitar looks great, but the price... its almost a Gibson...
You have not priced Gibsons lately!
@@user-lb8ih6ie4m funny cuz I bought an LP Standard one month ago... so yeah, I know the prices :) and this one is 1550 euros, there are some Gibson SGs for the same price, the Gibson SG Standard 61 Faded Maestro for 1859 euros, but if you want, there are Gibson SGs even cheaper, like the Heritage or even the Ebony Standard (both for 1560 euros). Ofc they will not look as classy or custom as this one, but they will be Gibsons, not an imported overpriced with cheaper pickups like this one. I really wanted to get this one, the Bonamassa 335 last year was 1150 euros WITH Gibson pickups... there is no point for this price, just greed.
How much? Why does the price have to be a fucking secret?
£1500 and you dont even get burst buckers, makes the mike mcreedy look cheap, keep up the great work joe
The only great job they didn't do , is make it left handed and for that reason I'm out . Sad .
He doenst ever and wouldnt be caught dead playing an Epiphone guitar , live , or on camera .
He might as well have a " signature series " charvel .
Lastly. Its still a ratty ass bottom of the barrel quality guitar that epiphone is known for , only with rhe added pricetag for a picture of his autograph.
I love Joe, but damn . Is rhere a place he wont go , to bilk hard working tradesmen out of their hard earned money ?
Why is it not a Gibson? Don’t buy foreign knock-offs.
Sorry.
Love Joe and his playing, but no one should support Epiphone by buying chinese slave labor guitars.
Another week...
ANOTHER JB "Signature" guitar...
Yawn 🥱 😫
C700 over priced !!!!! No way!!!! Its a chinese copy !!! Wtf !!!
