Clutch Fan Removal Easy No Special Tools. 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 liter 21mm is size of bolt

Bolt size 36 mm or 1 7/16. I was lucky! Mine loosened easily with a pipe wrench turning to the left / counter clockwise. I sprayed with WD40 first don't know if that made the difference or if it had been off previously by someone else is a possibility. Best bet would be proper size wrench or large crescent wrench & hit with hammer if it doesn't turn on its own.

Righty losey, wack on corresponding direction with flat head, round head chisel or equivalent and pow, theyz spin right off. Never use air tool as it’ll destroy your chances of ever using the clutch tool again but it is a pain sometimes so this outside the box idea is going into my brain safe for later
