I think mold issues are popping up for steamboat. The rate of small batch can’t possibly keep up with the current pace but who knows. Life is long and with patience good things come. Good thoughts and advice. 💨💨

    Great video!
I feel the same, bought a few small batches over the years but was never tempted to go all in on them. I go through 2 tins max per month & when I smoke I want to know Ill enjoy whats in my pipe.
We all have different palettes and preferences. Its all about finding what meets yours. I didnt know what premium tobacco was until my late 30’s. 10 years later Capt Black just doesn’t scratch the itch that it used to. Late to the game but definitely appreciate the variety & complexities in the premium market!
My nearest B & M is 1hr away. Been lucky to find a handful of unicorns but not willing to fall in love with the unobtainable.
Thanks for the content. You give us a glimpse into your home, your hobbies, preference’s & experience.
Ive picked up a few Stanwells based on one of your previous videos. They smoke great & look fantastic at a price I can afford!

I bought a tin of Tupelo Sun bear when I saw it at a local B&M. I never chase small batch. I do enjoy chasing the unicorns, especially the Butera line. Thanks for bid!

I am not chasing Butera but that is mostly because i have never tried it. Definitely would like to get my hands on some and see if its worth the chase.

Great points man. I've definitely been burned out on the small batches lately, but I'm still pretty new to the game, so I guess I had to learn the hard way about the "small batch FOMO" lol. Hope all is going well on your end. Random question- have you tried Sixpence by G.L. Pease? If so what do you think?

Havent tried sixpence yet but i do have a tin of it so eventually i will get to it and if i am still making videos when I open it, I will probably do a sesh. I got bit on e by the small batch bug, bought ten tins of something and regretted it, not that its bad, its pretty decent but definitely more hype than anything.

For your tins of Reiners and Peter Heinrichs, do you leave them in the tins or jar them up when you put them in your cellar?
    Great content! Thank you!

You know I havent had a problem with the seals. I suppose it it always possible. I would be interested to research that and see if its common for them to lose their seal. Have you had those issues?

@@Shallowpockets87 My oldest paint can tins are only three years old. So far, they have been fine. I have gotten mixed feedback regarding tin storage. Just to check, I’ve weighed them and measured if there is any change as time goes on.
