Tasting Session - Russ Ouellette - Fire Storm
Переглядів 11321 день тому
Fire Storm was the first blend released of the RO Series. Fire Storms base blend is something similar to the ever so popular Anniversary Kake, just elevated by the addition of Perique and a splash of robust dark-fired Kentucky. When beginning to burn this fascinating blend it starts off quite sweet but gradually builds up the spice to end with a peppery finish. Once you give this blend a try, y...

Yo, great to see another tobacco talk from you. Virginia cream is one that I've been curious about, and nearly bought too many times to count, but the bourbon and vanilla topping/casing made me not buy it every time, and now I'm glad I didn't ( since we seem to have similar taste ). My thinking is, if you have a good/flavorful tobacco base to the blend, why add other shit to the mix?. I'm sure the "astringency" you're tasting has something to do with the casing/topping. I could see adding a light sugar water casing to bump up the sweetness ( maybe ) but the extra nonsense is too much for many seasoned smokers. Maybe this blend was targeted as a hybrid blend to draw some of the "goopy aromatic" smokers closer to the natural blends?
