I would love to find an 80s gt but no chance here in the uk. I have a 95 pro freestyle tour and a 96 powerlite pfs pro . I was in my teens when these came out so nostalgic to me.
GT was a dream bike during my teen years in the 80's. I remember they had a catalog and we would carry it to school and just dream of getting one. There was one other brand that was top of the line can't think of the name.
I'm glad these videos bring back memories. I used to do the same with Redline and mongoose as well. Both of which there will be a build/restoration on. Thanks for watching
Haro had great bikes, but GT also was so staight quality and beutiful form. Riding these bikes back in the 80's and 90's was something ahead probably. 😎💯💯
I totally agree! Only the rich kids had GTs in our area. Couldn't believe it when I found this frame. Then the hunt for parts started. Thanks for watching and please do check out my latest video. The restoration of a Redline Rl620.

@whitewellybmxrestorations I'm after an old school bmx to restore or a newer one and do a unique one off. Just finished an MTB build. I used to tinker with bikes and really want to get back into it. Had a raleigh burner bmx back in 83 👍👍
I restored a Hutch pro racer a couple years ago. Chrome wasn't perfect but wasn't bad. Cleaned it up got some old and new parts to build it. It looks great. I just couldn't get myself to rechrome it. Your bike came out super!
I was blasting quadruple tailwhips off a big snow kicker with plywood on the lip on a vertigo around 1997. Had a really short top tube. I wasn't landing them, but when I told buddies at school they didn't believe me because people weren't even really doing double whips at the time.
Great content bringing back memories... I have something sad and stupid On my part to share ... I was that spoiled 80s kid who loved collecting bikes(hardly ever rode)... Had the GT pro performer signed by The Chairman ....Haro Masters signed by Run DMC... And Redline RL20ii signed by El Cid...They were all signed each time I attended an AFA Freestyle Comp....Kept them all in my garage for years and then just gave them away when it came time to move....
