Always fascinated when Harry do this auction previews
He is simply a fascinating guy.
His car knowledge is insane. Class fella.
I'd love to see follow up vids too!
Did this or that go for silly money, or did something go for an absolute bargain.
Yes, love these videos (as per all Harry's videos), and a joy to listen to his expert and such enthusiastic car-nut commentary - who just knows his stuff! Plus, he knows two people with a DBR1! And that '78 Landcruiser FJ40 - wow - the car that knocked out The Landie in the export market! Many thanks Harry.
Great cars featured by the best car reviewer - but interesting cars in the background too. 6:41 nice hi-top 'crew' Transit 3rd generation facelift. 18:26 nice looking 80-inch. And a 1950 DB2...!
I love this channel so much. I'm the kind of guy who will never be able to afford any of these cars, but the pure passion and enthusiasm radiating from Harry is so nice to watch, and also these previews are really interesting and informative.
pkrissz +1
I'm the kind of guy who will never be able to afford any of these cars? lol a fellow pauper?
EXACTLY ... great channel.
Me too. I’m lucky enough to work on Classic ferraris/Aston/detamaso etc and often find myself thinking “well I can only charge 4 hours as I spent 1/2 an hour staring at the 365BB engine bay dreaming today” 😆
It’s nice to see these vids as it gives you a fix. But what I will say to anyone who thinks they’re missing out is, you’re really not. Honestly you’ll have as much fun in a 172 clio as anything here. My best motoring memories are from a mk1 golf & I’ve had skyline GTR’s, Evo’s, clio V6, rx7, imprezas, m3’s, 944Turbo etc. No I haven’t owned any classic exotica but I’ve been around them enough and been driven in them a lot to know they’re nice to stand back and look at!
Yeah and he has a very natural style .I'm easily irritated by hype and odd traits that presenters often exhibit. He is a pleasure to listen to and watch.I find myself smiling and genuinely interested in what he has to say.
That Dolphin Grey 325is is beautiful. What a blast from the past
I thought it was Lachs Silver
Actually we are both wrong! Its Granite Silver! (special order colour)
Here in Portugal we have the e30 320IS. It was a version only for Italy and Portugal.
M3 Engine with reduced capacity to 2 litre and 192hp.
Very rare and expensive.
@@cloterico that's the e30 I would love to have .
that was 20 mins well spent, cheers harry
These are always class when he does these auctions.
Wouldn’t be too surprised if Harry presents a new car in the garage in a week or two.
That V12 Vantage made him shiver,,,, 😃
Harry- your knowledge & enthusiasm knows no bounds. Brilliantly done, sir. Many thanks. Cheers
Harry’s immense credibility provides magic to any auction.
I was a 20 year old car dealer in the 80's.
I feel very lucky to have a driven a lot of superb 80's cars, so this was a quick nostalgia trip....thanks.
Those frog-eyed sprites, I feel happier just to have seen their smiling faces.
They do look like they'd be wonderful to drive on a Sunday afternoon.
We should see more of that sort of thing in today's automotive design. The "aggressive" thing has had its day really.
Restoration! Montreal just needs a wash and an oily rag...lovely. Nearly bought the A610 after a Telegraph drive day with Tim Harvey in 1993 (he was driving Renaults in the BTCC back then). Was a wonderful car esp in yellow. But stuck to my guns and got the UR Quattro. The pale blue Sprite made me smile; back in the 70's, I took the Airfix body and transferred it to a Riko chassis and ran it on the Scalextric...great fun. Toyota FJ40 were an icon in Australia - used to build all the big dams back in the 60s and 70s. Set the reputation for all the Landcruisers that followed. And that 325i - just perfect, colour, both sets of wheels and H plate. Considering an H URQ is now 45-85k, I was thinking 70k so when he said 38k....bargain. And the 325i Touring was the estate to have in the 90s. Like Harry. love how auto stuff becomes the diary to one's life
(OO=[ ][ ]=OO) E30 was and still is my favourite BMW design of all time. Thank you for sharing Harry.
Lol, well done! I agree that E30 is gorgeous.
Thanks Pham. haha Galazo, that's pretty accurate lol
There's is nothing better than a new episode of Harry's Garage.. and a cup of tea.. thanks Harry.
Harry is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. This channel is top quality!
Beautifully presented Harry thanks as always.
Noble M600 is one of my all time favourite, unbelievable car, so rare, so cool, so under valued. Want.
The A.M. was a favorite of mine as a kid. I loved how brutally powerful it looked in my eyes then and now. A fantastic British muscle car.
Very cool to learn about the VW XL1. All this time I thought it was simply a concept, and had no idea VW actually produced it for a limited run. Those doors, the looks, the MPG...what a machine! Can't beat the price on that special M600, either. Great work as always, Harry.
That Mk1 focus RS just gets better and better with age, so much better looking than the 2 that came after it.
I've had mine 10 years now 😄
Another fabulous presentation, Harry - you're the Clarkson we SHOULD have had and not the clown that we got! Takes me right back to the Woollard days of presentation and I mean that in every complimentary way! Keep up the great work.
Will the BMW E30 ever age?
Such a cool looking car.
It sold for £51,188
Thumbs up on the e30!
Harry should definitely buy the Montreal! What an amazing project that would be!
That Aston V8 S4 would be the one I'd go for, gorgeous car!
Me too Gary. Always loved them. Do you want to bid first? :)
That xl1 is amazing, I want all of them
There is some lovely metal going through. I wish I could afford some of them. Well done Harry, keep up the good work.
Always loved the 80s series Ason Martin V8's!
Memories, memories. Thanks Harry. Really enjoyed that. Cheers, Bob
Love those auction vids by Harry, it's like scrolling through the car sale ads, but with more info about cars. And you don't have to scroll :)
Huge fan of your show ..! Keep them coming Harry and happy days on the road … and farm .. Fé ..
I could very happily live with that Oscar India - gorgeous car! Plus one of the Frogeyes for weekend fun. Thanks for another great video, Harry.
50k for the v12 vantage seems like a steal
High mileage for that price surely.
I’d go for the „S“
Until it goes wrong . and believe they aint the best made of cars .Imagine TVR crossed with a jag
@@LOTPOR0402 but its a V12
Rupert Migtau that’s about 100k so not as good of bargain
What a wonderful video. Even though I have but 25p in my piggy bank and I'm more of an every day motorist, Harry's enthusiasm and warmth shone through to make a video that I would not normally view. I shall look out for more.
Loved the Montreal, it would be nice to see Hary do a rebuild series on that. The Porsche 928GT looks like it needs a serious paint correction IMO
The Montreal is also one of the finest sounding cars ever made.
Thanks Harry for showing me automobiles I would otherwise never see, a real treat that I sincerely appreciate. And gosh these cars were all creme-de-la-creme and detailed to the nines imho.
That Carbon Sport would be top of my lottery win purchase list.
The 325i at the end was a belter 👍
I had the 318 is coupe E30 on an H plate.
Brilliant car 👍
That bright green '71 Roadrunner in the corner is my pick of the whole lot. One of my dream cars. I can't wait to see that in person tomorrow.
Also, wow. The state of the paint on some of these cars is shocking. That 928 is smothered in buffer trails and holograms.
That M600 is pure beauty. My eternal dream car.
Love this guy, a gentleman. So informative, such an obvious passion for beautiful cars.
Lovely cars! I used to own a couple of E30's, first one was a 1986 320i, then I had a 1990 318is. Wish I had held on to the 318is, those are sky rocketing in a value now!
Your taste and advice is exemplary; Thank-you for your entertaining and knowledgeable videos. 👍 🏍
These are my favourite videos on UA-cam. Bloody love them. And my god I'd love any and all of them.
Oh that 928!!!! You can't believe how futuristic they were when they first came out.
Harry, you're in a class of your own. Love your channel. RESPECT !!!
Nice run through Harry thanks - Love A610's... I bought Peter Tomalins (from performance car rag) yellow long termer from Renault Press office... amazingly smooth torquey pushrod V6 that Renault are experts in vis R5/9/11/Fuego turbo
Harry I know you’re not an Alfa-man thru&thru, but at least you could have told us the Alfa Montreal has a V8!
V12 Vantage: "I know no one who's owned one who hasn't enjoyed it ..." ahem I never would have guessed that.
The 928 and E30 Sport are my favorites. I always preferred the Sport over the M3 because of it's lovely sounding 6 cylinder engine and subtle looks.
That design still looks just right even now doesn't it.
V8 Aston, Toyota Land Cruiser, and the 2 Frog Eyed Sprite's. Job done. Great stuff Harry. The Focus RS still looks great. Colin McRae's WRC Focus at the time, some big crashes. Damn, he was fast in it.
I want to see Harry with that KITT, complete with a communicating watch😂
Absolutely beautiful cars.
Loving the 750 Honda in the background as well as all the great cars.
Many thanks for the tour! Some very desirable cars indeed.
I had an Alpine, fantastic cars, hope they get the recognition they deserve with the relaunches.
I have a Very rare electric Corgi model of the Alfa Montreal, bought in the seventies, I did not realise that it was a production car so well spotted Harry, I always learn a lot from your videos!
Always loved the Montreal you gotta buy it Harry !
Thanks for the walk through. Always been a fan of the 928.
That 325i is absolutely gorgeous, especially in that light grey metallic paint. Back when BMW was at its very best.
That 325i ... Thanks Harry.
That Noble M600 Carbon Sport is stunning and a comparative steal at that price!
That green Aston Martin behind Harry at the start of the video 😍 looks beautiful, Another great video from Harry thank you for sharing 👍🏼
Undoubtedly the best minutes I spent on UA-cam!
When he was talking about the Focus, I couldn't keep my eyes off the Mercedes sitting next to it. Come on Lotto, smile on me …
Another excellent video - however, the Alfa Montreal doesn't have a V6!
7.47 there is a nice looking transit in the background, with the extremely, must have raised roof option. One for the bucket list !
Harry is like a kid in a sweet shop, love to see it
Those 325 sport are a fantastic car. Had a dolphin grey one. Wish he’d done more on the 944 turbo. Very underrated car
I love every single one of those cars, you have great taste sir.
Lovely A610 !. I have a GTA V6 Turbo. Awesome cars.
I recall EVO and the other car mags raving about the GTA and A610 back in the day. So much so, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Harry didn't consider buying that one in the sale. If I had the money, I'd buy it.
I'd have that BMW 325i Sport in a heartbeat - what a gorgeous car - I had a mate who had a convertible one (also a 91 plate in Mauritius Blue) and was lucky enough to drive it down to the south coast and be allowed to "let the engine breathe".....superb drivers car.
Steve
Spotted, Perfection working on the XJ220 in the background
I'll be camping in the NEC for 4 nights at Easter. Can't wait it's going to be awesome
That BMW dreams are made with cars like that cheers Harry
That E30 BMW. Cabriolet are also picking up. Also the Toyota. Great review
Harry you tease !! These videos need to be 45min or longer! Would love to see more of these amazing & interesting cars in these auctions. 👍👍
11:22 That is an amazing cockpit!
Harry - love the video. The 944 turbo should be model designation 951. Keep these wonderful videos coming
Love these auction videos! Always great and varied cars to show and educate us on. cheers Harry 👍
That A610 is beautiful
BMW E30 Sport - I had the same car and in the same colour. I attended many concours events.
Probably the best car I've owned to date. Truly missed.
Know what you mean, I totally regret selling my old E30 325i, I wish I still kept it! There are not many cars you can say that about.
Sadly I couldn’t stretch to a 325, but my 320 always put a smile on my face... until it rained or snowed!!! I’ve never had another 6 cylinder and I miss it badly. It was red... I can’t remember the paint name.. cinnabar? Does that sound right?
@@davidhammond3738 6 cylinders and rear wheel drive in rain and snow, those were fun times if I recall, a lot of sideways action LOL. After 3 years with a 4 cylinder diesel BMW I am now back in one with 3 litre and 6 cylinder petrol and am loving it. With all this downsizing of late it's going to be an ultra rare breed, get in while you can. You won't regret it!
@joe... since posting, the only 3 series 6 cylinder petrol I can find is the 340... if I go to the dealer it will end in tears... and divorce!
@@davidhammond3738 I meant an older gen 3 litre 6 cylinder like the N52 that I have. You can still pick up good low mileage cars for sensible money, in my case it's in a 33000 miler E89 Z4 and I am loving it no turbos or other crap just naturally aspirated loveliness. It is the last of the breed.
Loved the Honda CBX in the background at the end.
Hope Harry has a part 2 to this and the CBX is included ..
Sorry but no part 2 and bike is a CB750, not CBX
@@harrysgarage ah yes my apologies
Awesome looking cars! Among my favourites are the green Plymouth Road Runner. I love the Alfa Romeo Montreal. The Renault Alpine A610. It's a damn shame that it was never sold here in the USA. I imagine it would make an awesome sports car. I'm also an Aston Martin car enthusiast. I love both early Astons in this video. My favourite cars have always been UK market cars, with the steering wheel on the right-hand side of the car, and the speedometer reading both MPH and km/h.
Saw the notification, and say out loud: " OHHH, a new Harry!". Dropped everything and watched the man share his knowledge in the way only Harry can!
Fanboy ?
LOVE these auction previews. Keep them up Henry.
Perfect lunch time viewing, always enjoy these insights into these special cars :)
I never thought I'd see Harry stood in front of a "KITT".
Wow, Montreal and A610? Great stuff!
Brilliantly presented and truly passionate about the cars and sometimes motorcycle videos great to watch and listen to love the channel
A610!! My dreamcar as a kid.
Love the Noble...
10:35 Those are the happiest looking cars I've ever seen.
EDIT: And 20K? That feels like a bargain to me. Small, neat cars in general feels like a safe bet to me. They'll only go up in value.
Just saw a pristine model of the Montreal today in a lightish green near Munich.
Jesus Christ that E30 is unreal. 6k miles?!?! Brings so many good memories, I loved all the E30’s I owned.
Great video Harry...!!! 😀🚗🆒️🔝👌
Lots of those FJ40s still kicking about in Australia. Right hand drive too.
Nice to see you wearing the Poppy !
Agree!
Sold my Nissan GTR 35 and bought a DB9.Very happy.
Thanks for putting up the vid I really enjoyed watching it you brought back some fond memories for me.
Another brilliant video from Harry's Garage, and loving the more regular uploads..and yes I know it's not that easy. 👏👏
Love that Vantage V12 and 325i
Can’t believe Harry doesn’t have more followers. One of my favorite channels on you tube
