there is one . ... who can do it justice, vocally speaking- Ann Wilson (HEART) when Zeppelin was honored at the Lincoln Center, even Jimmy Paige liked it and Pres & First Lady Obama were rocking out.
The most incredible thing about all this is that at this point in his career Robert did not push the power of his voice to the limit as if he did in the concerts of 1970/72 (example Blueberry hill 04/09/1970 or copenhagen 03/05 / 1971) on the first he sings Out on the tiles literally better than on the album
The interesting part is that this is actually a cover but one of those covers where a few people know it is a cover bcs it's better than the original. And the original was written by a Anne Bredon 1950 as a folk song, and sang by another woman called Joan Baez in 1962 as a solo version.
Glad you have discovered Led Zeppelin. They were my favorite band when I was a young girl of 17 and they are still my favorite band 50 years later! The hallmark of incredible bands are how they make you feel through their music. The best bands come across as a complete unit with nobody standing out far more than others. Zeppelin definitely do this, Pink Floyd and for me, Dire Straits accomplish this most of all. It’s like Mark Knopfler’s guitar is plugged into his heart. The same can be said for Jimmy Page and David Gilmour. Bands from this era are untouchable. Absolutely untouchable. You guys are great to watch. So much enthusiasm!! Keep it up.
One of the best rock bands ever, hands down (I'm pretty sure they get that a lot 🤪). 4 master musicians in their own right (that might be said about the Who as well)...

This song is a perfect example of what makes Led Zeppelin a special band. Besides the individual talents of the members [singing, drumming, guitars and keyboards], they have so much pacing in their songs. Speed up. Slow down. It's the contrast which makes the songs so listenable. So interesting. By contrast, today's songs are all paced the same which makes them boring. @BroAction ... While you are exploring the Zeppelin rabbit hole, you MUST NOT skip past the Kennedy Center Tribute to Zepp ... LIVE ... performed by the Heart band. Widely considered a Masterpiece of a tribute ... befitting the stature of Led Leppelin as artists. With Michelle and Barack, Robert, Jimmy and John Paul in the audience ... and the late John Bonham's son Jason playing drums with Heart , you can witness something truly SPECTACULAR!!!
I just found your channel last week and stayed and watched because it was Led Zeppelin. I’ve watched a couple others too. I’m a huge Zep fan and grew up with this music in the 70s when I was just 12/13. It’s fantastic to watch your reactions to these LZ tunes and truly makes me smile!😁 You’re so right, NO ONE should imitate Robert Plant. It can’t be done! His voice gives you chills.
Hey dudes! I'm 65 years old and back when I was in my late teens I took Led Zeppelin for granted. You dudes with your reactions are the best I've seen! You dudes brought back so many feelings back to me! Thank you very much! Another song I believe you dudes would flip out to is "Achilles Last Stand"...
Man, I'm 45 years old, I was somewhere in the 14 to 16-year-old area when I discovered Zeppelin, Black Dog. I couldn't decide to listen to the guitar or the vocals, I had just come home from fishin all night with a buddy and was dead tired but my brother had the ratio on and Black Dog had just come on as I entered the room. I was an LZ fanatic from that first listen-on.
when this album came out i think i listened to it a million times babe im goin to leave u is the second song from the first album have u done how many more times? the last song on the same album is epic led zep the first time i saw them in 1975 they encored with itlisten to the original, not the live, for the authentic experience first with all led zep i recommend the following -when the levee breaks, the rover, ten years gone,in the light, bring it on home, the lemon song, your time is gonna come, i cant quit you baby, and this just scratches the surface
You guys... Your pretty cute!... I can tell that George allows the music to speak to his sole. I always say if a song equis a story then A Lez Zep song is equivalent to a trilogy. I feel like Robert Plant's voice is as if it was another instrument playing along with the others I. Some times it's his voice alone that carries the melody
Well, David Coverdale did go on tour with Page in 1994 or so....REALLY pissed off Robert. He caught flack for being pissy about it, but I don’t blame him. It’s one thing to try to sing like Plant, but Coverdale imitated his stage persona as well...doing similar moves etc. and that was just WRONG. The only band (outside of Heart) that I think did a credible job on Zeppelin covers was Great White. Oh, and if you guys have never heard of or seen a Page cover artist from Japan by the name of Mr. Jimmy, you should check him out. Not to react to, but just for personal knowledge. It’s positively uncanny how much he resembles Page. He has devoted his life to the study of Page...his guitar playing and his signature moves onstage, as a homage to his mentor and idol. Jimmy Page went to see him once in Tokyo and was very impressed with his work.

Yes, the live version of Achilles can make you feel like you're a quarter mile away from an F-5 tornado...
This song is beautiful, amazing
LOL- I read that on my phone as “Dude I’m Gonna Leave You” 😂
Love Led Zeppelin! Keep up your great reactions, Dudes!
❤❤❤Robert ❤❤❤
My favourite Led Zep song, so happy you reacted to this, so many react to LZ but not this song so thank you! Awesome! ♡
Your feeling is pure ! I love it.
I LOVE your intensity when you listen to these songs.
I was 17 when this debuted. It and Jimi Hendrix's debut albums changed the person I had been.
I've listened to this song for roughly 50 years and my reactions are the same as George and Patrick's...EVERYTIME!
Each one is a true master at there craft and put them together and you have a masterpiece !every song!!!
Wish I could've seen them live! My husband has seen them twice!! So Jealous!! He's a bit older than me, and he was like 13 when he saw them.
This song is about a soldier that is being drafted into the Vietnam war and telling his girlfriend goodbye knowing that he may not come back
No it is not.
This is a cover song of an old 50’s folk song. No Vietnam War in the 1950’s. Zeppelin does a lot of covers.
Best band ever talented beyond belief led Zeppelin Allahu Akbar
Man, I'm 45 years old, I was somewhere in the 14 to 16-year-old area when I discovered Zeppelin, Black Dog. I couldn't decide to listen to the guitar or the vocals, I had just come home from fishin all night with a buddy and was dead tired but my brother had the ratio on and Black Dog had just come on as I entered the room. I was an LZ fanatic from that first listen-on.
Led Zeppelin. Created rock. Bluesy rock
. best rock band ever
"It melts my face"
My favorite band no question about it. It's time for You Shook Me 🙏
A mans tears 😭 with music to the rescue. Led Zeppelin
this is prob top 5 led tunes, it rocks!
when this album came out i think i listened to it a million times babe im goin to leave u is the second song from the first album have u done how many more times? the last song on the same album is epic led zep the first time i saw them in 1975 they encored with itlisten to the original, not the live, for the authentic experience first with all led zep i recommend the following -when the levee breaks, the rover, ten years gone,in the light, bring it on home, the lemon song, your time is gonna come, i cant quit you baby, and this just scratches the surface
Love your reaction! I've been a Zep fan since the 70s. So many more bands you should listen to from that time
Yep I've seen them...amazing
