  • In This video I discuss how I increased my vertical jump. I go over everything that has helped me over the years as I went from touching the rim to dunking consistently. I go over strength training, plyometrics, and jumping technique. I also show how I plan out my workouts to become more explosive. I hope this helps!

Hey! I have been using the same exact work ethic for about 4 months now and just stumbled in to this video. I wonder tho, while in your strength and power phases, do you still do plyos? I'm currently on a strength phase, and I'm still doing plyos 2 twice a week + a jump day (focusing on technique) aside from my basketball training. I assume that on your speed phase you deload on the weight room, but I'd like to know if you completely drop the weights for that phase or just deload. Thanks!

The dunk at 3.44 is crazy this is why I have mad respect for people training for dunks these days that landing could easily be worse happening especially if/when the defence makes a bit of contact. That's tough!!!! Thanks for the vid. :)

How long does each phase last? Or do you do all three phrases at once during the week?

When u talk abt the strength power and speed phase do you mean that’s the workouts u do in a session or you do one phase on week the next phase another week?

I would workout legs twice a week and add in some jumping days when you can

If all I do is just keep trying to dunk every day for around 30-45 minutes will my vertical still go up? (I’m pretty close to dunking but not there yet).

2 times a week is best but you'll still see results with 1 day

I'm 5'5", shut up, I've gotten about 3 inches away from the rim before I'm looking into a lot of things to improve that some more and get all the way up there. I've only gotten up that high twice and haven't been able to since. I'm hoping I can get that height again, or better.
