History would view Sabu very differently if he had gotten to do matches with Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels in his formative period. But I'd have liked to see Sabu vs. Yokozuna. It'd probably be some good shit.

Sabu had 2 WWE dark matches in 1993. On 10/18/93 Sabu defeats Scott Taylor and on 10/19/93 Owen Hart defeats Sabu.

Cornette's is full of shit. He was offered a job in 93 after his dark match tryouts for 250k a year. He turned it down because they wanted to change his gimmick to much. Sabu wanted to be Sabu. Not a freak with a mask! Vince wanted him big time. He was so over and that's all Vince cared about. Whether he got Sabus gimmick or not.
