Sanctions typically do not work. They are usually just a show of international force when military force cannot be on the table.

The problem is that not everyone is part of that coalition. Some of those Non- coalition countries do hold weight. India never stopped buying Russian oil , China , Iran etc.

I'd like to compare Julian Assange's supposed crimes with Navalny's. Which government had more to complain about, the US or Russia?
Navalny was a CIA plant running with the Democrat party in Russia, which is funded by the US. Assange is a journalists that did nothing more than his job.
