- Yes, you can shave your face!! :D No, not using shaving cream and the standard Venus razor.. but instead, using a single-edge, single-blade razor on a dry, clean face, without using water. This technique is rumoured to be an insider trick amongst bombshells like Marilyn Monroe and Betty Paige, as it's the perfect way to remove unwanted facial hair, giving a thorough exfoliation and creating a smooth canvas to apply foundation and the rest of your makeup too.
Here's how to go about it:
Pull the skin taut, then gently start shaving downward on your skin in short strokes. Remember to hold the razor at a 45-degree angle against the skin. Once you're done, spritz rose water to cool your skin and follow up with a moisturizer. Don't forget to santize your razor after every use with an alcohol swab. Repeat once/twice a month.

Let me tell you something I am guilty of.
I suggested one my friends to shave her face (she was naturally a bit hairy).
And then the blunder happened.
She had thick hairs growing out if her face and guess what, she had to shave more often as the hairs were thick and visible.
I then asked her to get an epilator as it would take longer to let the hair grow.
And previously she wasn't even that noticeably hairy or such.
I would suggest no one to shave their face.
Its a disaster.

Hair does not come faster...in case of shaving the outerpart only gets cut not the root of the hair so it reappers just on the skin and because it's cut blunt the thicker hair pokes out easier... I have been using razors for a while

teju teeju its just the blunt tip but if you don't want the blunt tip shave it downwards you will get a semi-tapered tip.

Anyone with hormonal imbalance here please do not shave ur face u will have drastic hair growth later. And a suggetion to the person who makes these video please be responsible while promoting a product as ppl do follow u blindly and it might harm them for life..

But what about skin darkening over time ... like how men have a green/brownish tint to their shaved beard area, or like how we have darker skin if we shave our armpit ? Let me know :)
Geetha Balakrishnan the shaving/razoring does not cause darkening. The brownish tint or the pigmentation you are tlaking about is caused by alcohol based shaving creams and after shaves that they use, which we women in shaving dont, therefore no chance of pigmentation.
Armpit darkening is the hair inside your skin(because shaving only cuts through top unlike root remvoal in waxing) which because of sweat causes illusion to look even more darker. The skin never actually gets darker. It is best to wax underarms to avoid such illusions of darker armpits. And shave rest of the body. Its cheaper and less painful and even manageable.

I have baby hairs on my forehead since childhood which never grew more than 2-3 cm. i shaved them once n kept shaving for few months..now the hair of that region have become like normal hair..i mean thicker n blacker..n are growing in length..soon they will merge in my bangs...i am afraid the same will happen to face hairs too . till now i have only done threading for my eyebrows, never touched upper lips and side blocks.
