AMAZING video! I've been doing this for over a year, I have legitimate hair and black fuzz all over. Has never grown in thicker or darker (because it's black lol). HAIR CANNOT GROW IN THICKER, IT'S NOT SCIENTIFICALLY POSSIBLE PEOPLE. The base of the hair shaft is thicker than the tip, hence when it starts to grow back it seems to be thicker but if you just let it grow more it'll appear the same as before as a tip of the hair shaft emerges.

the lies ppl tell to themselves...
just look at a young man starting to shave, face looks flawless, but now look to a 30/ 40 year old men who shaved their face for over a decade, dark shadows even if they're blond, rough ruined skin... you want to end up like this man? Many women who do this, look already like a man, even if they freshly shaved their face....
peach fuzz is feminine, makes your skin soft and peachy and not glowingly sleek like a freshly shaved gentleman lol

This video is A LIFE SAVER! I have thick black hair (on my head lol), but also black hair on my upper lip. It's of course thinner, but it is really noticeable especially because I have light skin. I tried EVERYTHING and my hair always grew back like a week later (even with waxing I tried it all). Since my hair does tend to grow back fast, I knew it would be the same with this. But let me tell you all, it's painless and your skin feels AMAZING afterward. Totally 1000000% recommend this!

I swear to the beauty gods I thought I was the only one who shaved my peach fuzz. I've been wondering if I was damaging anything. It's nice to know that I'm doing it correctly and not damaging anything. I just don't care for the hair on my face and remove it with a Tinkle once a month.

Since I'm a brunette I wax my mustache with ready to apply stripes. The trick to make them work is to heat the very well before applying them to the skin. The easiest way to heat them fast and uniformly is to hold them against the wall of a cup filled with boiling water (non sticky side of the stripe against the cup of course)

I'm pale skinned (ivory makeup) with what I'd call medium ash brown hair . I was "blessed" with a bit of a mustache and sideburns that sort of extended more than I was comfortable with. I'd tried nair = epic breakout. I bleached with jolens I think it was for years. It was less noticeable, but not invisible. I'd heard about shaving online and went for it.I use a regular disposable razor, either with shaving cream or vitamin e oil. It works fine, I've never nicked myself or anything. After about a week if I lightly run my finger UP my cheek, it feels a tiny bit prickly. That's all. I've never had any 5 o'clock shadow look.
Tip: when starting out, shave down, in the direction the hair grows. Shaving upward, in the opposite direction can cause irritation and break outs.

  • @saraliciousgirl

    laseeeeeeer!
i always had problems with threading, sugaring and waxing because i break out like crazy.

so laser is my holy grail. and it makes my skin brighter and clearer too.

Michelle's face shaving vid was one of the first few videos I watched when YT sucked me in (I've loved almost every moment since) and I thought this girl was coo-coo for cocoa puffs but ya know, after I thought about it, read a few other bloggers YT Guru's who were fly like that and shaved their faces too, I tried it. I am a hairy mofo, no joke my only saving grace is that I'm blond so it doesn't show as bad ( my heart to the dark haired girls I feels ya....I do xo) I've been doing it for a couple of years and no heavy beard ladies! I shave between my brows(clean up really), my "stash" and sides of my face. I use the same type of tool that you showed here in your vid but mine are from Diaso (3$ for 4 razors) Good on ya for getting this info out there. It's not a process that everyone is comfy with so your honesty is a great thing! Knowledge is power ladies

I am Mexican/Italian (mostly) and I have thin, long, slightly dark peach fuzz on the sides of my face. I would bleach it, but was left with this halo effect of light hair. I also get these silly thicker hairs oh my chin, but those get plucked out, bye bye. I recently used my hubby's beard trimmer, to go over my fuzz, OMG, I loved how it looked!! It was shorter, not so much of a halo. So, tonight, I've tried shaving with one of those razors like in the video. I'll let you know how it grows back! My face feels like velvet! And no halo!! Thank you, Kirbie!!

I’d like to try this and I realise hair does not grow back thicker but compared to waxing it gets prickly. Waxing causes little white head pimples because you have stimulated and removed the hair follicle there for it. Ring open. Don’t apply cream or even tea tree like they suggest. Apply cold compress which closes the pores and don’t touch skin!

No one's mentioning the fact that some of us have tried waxing, threading, razors, and the list goes on but each time there's a green tint to the skin where the hair is removed, and it keeps getting worse with each shave. I don't want to risk it getting darker as it is going more and more noticeable, so I can't try any new method unless I know it will truly work for me. I've researched everywhere but only a few people mention it, and their methods don't work for me whatsoever (probably scams/doing it for money).

Listen to her girls it's benefits outweigh risks for the majority

You look so pretty on this video!! Well.. You always look pretty but the lighting is great.. your hair looks great.. your eyelashes are spectacular and I love the color or your lipstick!! I thought about shaving my face but I don't have much hair on my face at all.. HOWEVER, I went and got my eyebrows done once and it about killed me!! They didn't tell me they were going to wax between my eyes!!! All I wanted was my eyebrows shaped and I was like.. why.. why.. why would you do that without TELLING me!! LOL I am sure a lot of people will ask this but if you do shave, does it grow back thicker like guys hair does?? I heard it doesn't but I wonder if in some women it does.

cheri williams You are so sweet, thank you! It doesn't grow back thicker. Most women don't have as much testosterone as men, which is why their's grows back thicker. That said, some people think their hair on their legs grows back thicker and darker, but it's false -- it's just how the hair appears as it's growing from the follicle. Once it grows longer, it's blonde and soft again. I've personally never had it grow back black or stubbly.

Kirbie Johnson You know what is funny? I have hardly any hair on my legs.. Just a stray hair here and there and so I just tweezer them out.. At most its like 3 per leg.. I used a Epilady on my legs which rips it out by the roots so the hair just came in less and less and basically stopped growing.. I LOVE that!! I don't have a lot on my face but I hear it is true.. that your makeup goes on so much better with the clean canvas!!

I’ve been waxing for yrs but it’s got ridiculous I can spend over 2hrs in front of a mirror per week plus plucking in between waxes! I have a slightly dark mow but it’s my dark course hair on my chin & neck that stress me out!
A week ago I had my first ever laser treatment & now looking into shaving in between. I always swore I would never shave but I am surprised how many woman do shave & how much easier it is!

I did this and I have to say the hair didn't change colour but there was a bit more of it then before . I have dark hair and everywear I've ever shaved its got worse once I've shaved it but its not too bad on my face.

Hi I watched another one of your videos and you mentioned that you had ptosis surgery done at 3 years old, My daughter had the same surgery done at 7 months old I was wondering if you could answer a feed questions I have for things in the future I’ve never got to see any pics or success story’s on this surgery. Do you get dry eye? And if so how often? Do they bother you doing day to day things like brightness or getting things in your eyes? How do they feel ? Can you notice the slings or feel any pulling ? Do you have to wear glasses or contacts ? Did you have to have them adjusted ? I know it seems like a lot to answer but I would appreciate it ! When I seen the video I cried because I finally seen how my daughter will look when she gets older BEAUTIFUL!!!! Thank you so much -Mazie

Hi I have a question. I have to shave my face everyday due to my little hairs growing in on my chin, my neck and my cheeks. My hair is dark tweezing doesn’t work because all I get is in grown hairs and bumps start to pop up. Instead of my skin getting lighter I am getting dark spots and small bumps on my face. You said in your video to do it at least 3 times a week what can I do ? my hair literally grows over night 😩

halie morris Hi! I'd recommend oiling your hair before every wash. Coconut oil, almond oil, olive oil, mustard oil, or a mix of two oils .. just massage your scalp with it and run through the entire length of your hair around 30 mins before you wash. once oiled, braid it or put it in a bun so the oil seeps in. This is an old beauty secret from India!
Also, once a week you can make a hair pack with one egg, two spoons of the oils mentioned above and yoghurt. Put it on on the entire length and make a loose bun. wash as normal after 20 mins.
Try to loosely braid or make a high, loose bun when you sleep so your hair doesn't tangle too much.
Don't use hot tools for a month! That'll be a huge help. Use the old school velcro rollers for volume and body that looks naturally nice.
      Eat almonds and walnuts everyday.
      Good luck :)

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I have a slight moustache on my face that I've always been insecure about. I usually use hair removal cream but I'm worried about the long term effects it will have on my skin. I might switch to shaving! Also, what are some tips before getting your hair bleached? I'm thinking about bleaching a few strands of my hair and then dying it blue. (I have black hair)
