- In this video, I review the Philips epliator and share my top 10 tips to reduce epilation pain! I experiment with all kinds of hair removal techniques- waxing, shaving and epilating (I'm not into hair removal creams), but somehow I feel an epilator comes to the rescue when you want long-lasting results without the drama of going to a parlour! At the end of the video, I'm hosting a giveaway/contest! YAY! The giveaway closes on October 8th, 2015 and is applicable to anyone living in India :) To participate, please follow the rules given below:

You can buy lignocaine jelly and apply it on your skin before epilating , its an local anaesthetic agent that they use before doing minor procedures in hospital before doing any minor procedure .

Hello Akriti, Can U tell me which option is more appropriate for a sensitive skin Waxing or Epilating ? Till now I have always gone for waxing but after few days of waxing I get so many rashes on my skin.. Now M planning to buy an epilator but worried if it will too get me rashes after hair removal.. hi Akriti, What do you suggest for clearing off the bikini area and bikini line? Skin is sensitive out there, so I don't think waxing is an option if someone wants to keep the area down there cleaner. Can you please suggest a good epilator that does not allow the hair grow a bit harder (like after shaving). Or do you think waxing is the best option?

Hey... Ur video is amazing...i have followed all the steps to Epilate but all the time my hairs breaks out and grows after 5 to 6 hours just like shaving...please suggest some tips for removing hairs completely from the root and get smooth and soft skin.
