Your skin is just beautiful! Thanks for the tips. After endometrial cancer caused me to have to have a complete hysterectomy in my late 30's my facial hair got pretty bad. I mean, it was noticeable before because I have very pale skin and dark hair and some hormone issues, but this was "freak show" quality. So I was spending all my time plucking, and it was making me crazy. Finally I decided to try shaving. I felt like a man, like a freak and I cried before shaving. But as soon as I was done, I saw my face without all those hairs and I hadn't felt so feminine for a very long time! I am excited to try this for the baby hairs and the exfoliating!
Thank you for sharing your story. Another idea for you could be electrolysis, if you struggle with thick stubborn hair, it would be less upkeep than shaving. :)
I use an epilady - have done for years, and it's great! It hurt the first time, but never again after that. I do it 1-2 x a fortnight. Just for the hairs - not sure if it has the exfoliating effect of the 'shaving'.

Also, you can see it for yourself by using a nose strips and you will see it!

Thank you! I'd tried this once before and gotten no results. But I just tried it after watching your video and I was amazed. And now I'm actually glowing?! I've been really insecure about the dark hair on my upper lip since I was around 12, and this is the first thing that has truly worked. I'm honestly so amazed.
I'm very fair with lots of peach fuzz on my jaw, dry skin on my forehead, and far too many dark hairs on my chin (damn getting older!). I was so intrigued by face shaving for a long time and finally took the leap and don't think I'll ever look back! This is a fantastic tutorial - one of the best I've seen on UA-cam (and I've watched a ton). You definitely have a new subscriber. I just wish I'd found you sooner!
"when I was 19. Let's just say that was a while ago" *still looks 19* LOL Great video! You're so pretty and look very youthful(: I'm curious how old you are, because honestly, I would believe it if you said you were only 19!
I realize you did this video almost 2 years ago, but I have just decided to research shaving or hydroplaning the peach fuzz on my face. When I went through puberty many years ago, I had bad skin AND a dark-haired mustache. It was horrible to have a mustache! Over the years I finally ended up using Poetic wax. I still love waxing because Poetic Wax is spread over whatever area you choose. Once it cools, you just rip it off. No muslin cloths necessary. You just flip the wax up a tiny bit at an end, then rip the wax off. This wax is blue and it's easy to see the hairs by holding it up to a light. Recently I bought 2 new foundations and I know if I have this peach fuzz removed, it will look so much better. On my chin I now get stiff white whiskers that drive me nuts so I wax my chin or sometimes I tweeze them. Tweezing is just so time consuming. You're an absolutely beautiful woman, and your courage is inspiring. I think I will shave my peach fuzz off this weekend. Today is Thursday, April 2018. Over the years, I have had a dear friend point out my peach fuzz, and my 17 year young son points it out often because he's got the dark hair I had in my face when I was his age. My fuzz is blonde, the whiskers on my chin are white, and what hairs I have above my top lip, come in black. I also have black eyebrows. It's time for me to get rid of my fuzz...I was using my 55 years as the excuse to not shave. I was telling myself, you've had peach fuzz this long so why bother now? WELL, I think I will be really pretty and will get compliments because this Mally foundation will show even better with my peach fuzz gone. Thanks so much for your video!! Your courage, kindness and your little jokes have inspired me to take the plunge! ! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
I had derma-planing done in a Plastic surgeon's for the first time a little while ago (and I'm 69) to remove dead skin and the peach fuzz. My face felt fabulous and the peach fuzz was gone, but is was very expensive. Thank you for showing how I can take care of this for myself, and save some money!
You are so very welcome Laura, hope you had a chance to watch my other videos such as how to care for your skin at any age series... you might them. ☺️
I'm living here in Japan, I used google to try and find a product to get rid of my mustache. I found out that women here actually shave and found these razors. I thought I'd give it a try and I bought a package. I'm not very good at reading Japanese so I came here to see if I could find out how to use them. Your video was extremely helpful thank you for making it. The thing that suprizes me the most is that I thought it would grow back faster then when I had it waxed since it was being shaved instead of pulled out, but it isn't growing back any faster at all
You are a delight. I'm old and we didn't have skin care when I was growing up. I never could use a brow pencil. My brows were dark and unruly. I tweezed the loose ones underneath and between. I only found one person who was so great my face looked different. They brought out an electric version of this about fifteen years ago for mustaches. I used it on my cheeks the way you do. So much "peach fuzz" came off it was silly. My foundation went on better. I used it above my brows. I have light brown hair and simply had hair and no one talked except for the girls who bleached their upper lip. But since I couldn't tweeze and I didn't need more color shaving above the brow made it clean looking and I didn't get stubbles. It was easy to run between the brows. I'm glad there's a simple one and it's by Ardell. I am not a fan of professional micro-planing. The skin is an issue they don't discuss. I have thin skin. They e been forgotten but glycolic acid peels at the dermatologist leave that glow you loose with age and increase skin cell growth. This is great. I'm in my 60s and my hair started thinning at the hair line in my 50s. Now it's also thinning. Unfortunately that area doesn't react to sitting with a laser cap on. I'm using Rogaine which takes forever to get going and has to be kept up. Hair has grown in front of my ears. Maybe I was sloppy in application. Also it's appeared at the temples. I'm doing this. With light skin and dark hair why not laser it off?
Omg I literally came back from buying my own blade to do this for the first time after watching your video and WE HAVE THE SAME ONE!!!!! It made me feel way more comfortable and less nervous doing it while watching your video so thankssss ❤️❤️

The interesting thing is that where your hyperpigmentation is versus your lighter skin, it actually looks like you applied foundation and a brightening concealer the way the ig baddie girls do with the huge concealer triangle under their eyes and on the sides of their nose. If I had that “problem” and had your clear skin, I’d never wear base makeup! I’d just do my eyes and eyebrows and call it a day.
You are beautiful and so brave to shave on a UA-cam video. I'm 74 and, because of your bravery, I'm going to get some of those little shavers and shave. It's such a hassle to pluck and waxing can really hurt and then my face is beet red for hours afterwards. Thank you, dear lady, for this good video.
+RudyCouture HEY THERE! I replied to your other comment and, accidentally deleted it all of it 🙄 but not before I subbed your channel. lol! thank you darling ☺️
Are you using a beauty filter or bright studio lighting? When you said “I don’t have perfect skin”, I wondered if maybe you’re blind because your skin is honestly as close to perfect as you can get, unless you don’t call freckles imperfections and then, in that case, your skin is absolutely perfect and something to envy!
yesssss!!! I've been doing this for a couple months now thanks to you & my insane blonde mustache & FULL ON beard are no more. I love it! Thank yooooou!!! xoxo
Im a 43yo natural curly, blue eyed Blonde with a much darker natural skin tone than most girls with blond hair and blue eyes. Im German, Welsh and according to ancestrial accounts.... Roman.. which may explain the nose and the curls??? idk.. trying to figure it out. Ive found in recent weeks.. shaving my face is the way to go.. and thank You for all the info.. the feel of my skin alone is worth it!!!
I was watching asmr when i came across this video. And let me tell you, you are incredibly beautiful without any makeup and i can tell you have a beautiful personality too!.
Ok so I braved up and bought a blade. I bought the Finishing Touch brand $25.00 at Chemist Warehouse in Australia 🇦🇺 . Yes it was at bit more than I wanted to pay but as I’m nearly 61 and my eyesight is not what it used to be, it has a light next to the blade. It also came with 6 replacement blades. I followed all the steps but as my skin is dry, I used a small amount of bio oil. I was shocked to say the least at how much peach fuzz I had especially near the outer edges of my eyes and around my ears, that little light showed every bit of peach fuzz OMG. Not going to lie my skin is a little red, but as my hair used to be red this is not a surprise. I go red very easily. My skin feels super smooth and can’t wait to see what it looks like tomorrow.
Your video is great, you answered any questions that I had along the way- it was perfect. Thank you! Also, your sense of humor and smile are lovely, you made me smile the whole way through!
I have small patches of hairs on my chin. I used to pluck...forget that. I now shave and I am a Double-Edged shaver which gives a close shave. Makeup goes on smoother and looks better. I even shave my arms because I like that smooth feeling. I don't have dark hair on arms or legs. I'll never use a cartridge blade again.
OMG - you are so cute! This is awesome and thank you for the informatiion filled and non-judgemental video. Normally I will literally tweeze every single hair (it takes over an hour to get it all, or at least the majority of the hairs - which means the darker ones). So I think I will try it. It would be a relief to find another method that is not so tedious.
I like her video....informative, helpful, bot annoying, and she is also not annoying. Andnshe feels relatable. Like a friend or an aunt or a friends mom is telling u. U know what I mean? She doesn't sound like an out of touch woman. Plus she's so young and fresh and pretty. We gotta love our Florida Latinas...HEY FELLOW FLORIDIANS LOL. Thank you for ur video. I actually do this same thing. I found the same blades. I'm so glad to know other people do this too. I do think it is important to use a new blade each time. I've found if the blade gets dull it will want to pull the hair out and not cut it off. For me when this happens, I get little tiny pimples. Another reason cleansing is so important! Great Video!
I’ve noticed since I started wearing makeup about 3 years ago that my nose would always come out funky because of all my nose hair 😣 I wear glasses as well so whenever doing my face makeup I’d be really close up to the mirror and seeing it super up close just added to the paranoia of it looking too fuzzy I’ve been trying to find something to get the hair off without ripping it with wax or shaving with a razor and recently found out about these blades and seeing this video makes me want to do it even moreee
I think my little hairs on my face cause my skin to be textured bc I have clear skin but I feel like itll be so much smoother if I shave it near my jaw. Just very hesitant bc I'm a girl and people usually dont like when girls shave. And I have very dark hair but my facial hair isn't noticeable,I can just feel it🤷♀️
I am far older than you (62 eek!) and have had decent skin most of my life. However, post- menopause, I found these gross hairs popping up on my chin. Also, the pale little mustache hairs grew thicker and faster. I've resorted to razors on the chin whiskers at times, but I am going to use your technique and see how it affects my skin overall. hi raquel, i just want to thank you so much for what you do! ive had issues oversleeping recently, but now, thanks to seeing your face, i don't think ill be able to even fall asleep in the first place because of how deathly terrified i am that my sleep paralysis demon is going to look even REMOTELY like you! the constant bumps in the night can no longer be brushed off, knowing someone that looks like you walks this earth! thank you again for everything you do!
Any tips for making your face feel smooth afterwards? Every time I do it my face still feels a little prickly but I don't wanna keep going over my face because I don't wanna irritate my skin.
To get a really close shave make sure the skin is completely dry. Make sure you use some kind of astringent, in the spas we use to use straight alcohol on the skin because that would allow for the closest shave. Not that I'm recommending you use alcohol, but I do wanna stress how important it is for the hair to be completely dry. Oh and of course and fresh sharp blade. Also, consider moving in diff directions if the hair is stubborn.
you have beautiful skin, I'm 35 & still have problems with my skin. I love make up but have the same issue as you that time of the month, however it takes me longer to get my skin back& I have a lot of black heads, over my whole nose area& the sides & my chin area. I am subscribing to your channel & would love to see a video on how to reduce or diminish black heads.
I was really considering doing laser removal bc my skin is so sensitive I’ve tried everything except laser and I react to stuff badly. Last time I tried to remove hair was with this new more expensive wax and it ripped the skin off my face, it wasn’t my first time either and I was over it all the methods of taking hair off. But since this method of “shaving” is so taboo it was pretty much my last resort so I tried it today and so far it’s doing fine. Thank you so much for making this video I appreciate it
Thanks for the thoroughly informative video, best on the topic so far. You are entertaining yet relaxing to listen to and by the way, even with no make up, you are beautiful and beautifully defined features naturally :)

I was so intrigued by face shaving for a long time and finally took the leap and don't think I'll ever look back! This is a fantastic tutorial - one of the best I've seen on UA-cam (and I've watched a ton). You definitely have a new subscriber. I just wish I'd found you sooner!
awwww, thank you doll so sweet!! welcome welcome!! :)
"when I was 19. Let's just say that was a while ago"
*still looks 19*
LOL
Great video! You're so pretty and look very youthful(: I'm curious how old you are, because honestly, I would believe it if you said you were only 19!
You took those words right out of my mouth😂
s r the tattoo is aging her
Very informative. Thanks for showing us how to shave.
exactly she is beautiful
Rhonda Wymer hi Rhonda, so did you do it? I too am contemplating shaving, I'm just so scared!!
I'm a really fair-skinned asian and I do have lots of peach fuzz/upper lip hair/lower lip hair :')
@H S I'm Afghan and the hair I have on my face is crazy and the fact that I'm really pale makes it worse
My face looks so much lighter and clearer after doing this. Best video for this technique great video, new subbie!!!
followed along with the exact same blade and i'm so happy with the result!!!
josie winterburn did it grow back hairy?
josie winterburn what blade does she use?
I can’t believe I didn’t try this sooner, my makeup goes on SO well eek I love ut
I liked this feeling so much better. My face looks a lot better. I bet when I take a flash picture, my peach fuss won't show up
4:06 man, I felt that. I'm very very pale with dark brown hair and I'm also very hairy, the struggle is real😩
First time watching your video went straight to Walgreens and I’m already in love with it
Thanks for clarifying the procedure. I've been wanting to do this but was hesitant. I feel more confident. Appreciate your help.
You’re so very welcome 💕
Omg I literally came back from buying my own blade to do this for the first time after watching your video and WE HAVE THE SAME ONE!!!!! It made me feel way more comfortable and less nervous doing it while watching your video so thankssss ❤️❤️
Whoop whoop 🙌 😉
o my god.... ur so beautiful..wat do u do to ur face?? its flawless...so clear..no dark circles..no pigmentation...u look speechless..
Angel singh still waiting on our answer ! Lol
Janet Brown this video has a filter on it that blurs blemishes
Oh my gosh your skin is absolutely gorgeous!
Just did it and I put coconut oil on after as a moisturizer since it helps with acne scars and it works great!!
Thanks for sharing!!
I love that you went so into detail on this video. It helps for someone who has no idea what to expect. Love it ❤️
I'm regretting watching this after shaving my face 😭😭 that was a great tutorial. I'm following you
I suffered through my teens & 20,s with acne, then i quit dairy and my skin cleared right up, so when my daughter became a teenager and having break out,s, i told her to stop dairy and again it worked for her. So people if you have a teen with acne issues, try the no dairy for 1 week. Hope this helps others and they don,t have to suffer for yrs.
People underestimate just how much our diet can effect our skin. So glad you learned and were able to help your teen. ☺️
Thank you for being so thorough and explaining and showing everything so well! I absolutely love your natural beauty. I have so many scars on my face and to top it off, I have a lot of facial hairs. I do shave my face but I have never seen this way before. I will try it, thank you! ❤
Thank you that’s was very kind and sweet of you to say. 🌻 Are your scars marks as in discoloration or they red flesh tone in color?
@@raquelfrominsideout they are marks! I got bullied for them most of my life. I was recently considering laser resurfacing treatment, but backed out because of the price.
@@RareEmerauld86 how's the price I have alot of redness and flaking, along with scars my body just doesn't want to heal pimples. They'll sit there festering for weeks.
My face is very hairy. I usually go to derma shop to thread the hairs in my face. And it usually end up with me having acnes. So this tutorial really helped me a lot. You earned yourself a new subscriber. Would totally recommend you to my friends who needs this.
Thank you! :)
Did this really worked well for you??
The interesting thing is that where your hyperpigmentation is versus your lighter skin, it actually looks like you applied foundation and a brightening concealer the way the ig baddie girls do with the huge concealer triangle under their eyes and on the sides of their nose. If I had that “problem” and had your clear skin, I’d never wear base makeup! I’d just do my eyes and eyebrows and call it a day.
You have such a beautiful youthful glow, really struggling to believe that you were 19 "a while ago"!
Plz do a video on getting rid of dark circles under the eyes! :)
Yes face shaving makes you glow especially after weekly facial 🙂
I truly hope that you realize how pleasant you are to watch as well as listen to. So thank you!
I truly hope you realize how wonderful it felt to receive that compliment so THANK YOU! 🙏
Thank you for the video! *goes & shaves face*!😄
+RudyCouture HEY THERE! I replied to your other comment and, accidentally deleted it all of it 🙄 but not before I subbed your channel. lol! thank you darling ☺️
+Raquel From Inside Out aww hahah thank you !! =)
Same girl same!
I love it! Thank yooooou!!! xoxo
OMG!!! That's so awesome!!!! 👍🏽
Your eyes and your smile... omg perfection
Thank you! 🙈☺️
🤗💕
I was watching asmr when i came across this video. And let me tell you, you are incredibly beautiful without any makeup and i can tell you have a beautiful personality too!.
Thank you I really appreciate that 💕
I love you girl watching you makes my heart calm
She kinda looks like a Jodi Arias except with a good moral. Their similarities are just amazed me.
I trust her with a razor waaaaaaaaay more though
Hahahahahaha
Omg stop I felt bad for even thinking it. This girl is much more beautiful though..
Hi just found ur channel and I am shaving my face today for the first time! Thanks for sharing tutorial I'm excited!
I hope it went well for you. ☺️
Oh that’s awesome 🤩
"this is gonna look not so cute~" HAHAHAHAHA
You're beautiful without make up! Your skin is gorgeous girl. Thanks for the tips! Blessings!
Your video is great, you answered any questions that I had along the way- it was perfect. Thank you! Also, your sense of humor and smile are lovely, you made me smile the whole way through!
You are so freaking pretty!! My daughter looks a LOT like you. Thank you for your professional information. Very appreciated!
Thank you Kathy 🙏🏼 ☺️💕
I have small patches of hairs on my chin. I used to pluck...forget that. I now shave and I am a Double-Edged shaver which gives a close shave. Makeup goes on smoother and looks better. I even shave my arms because I like that smooth feeling. I don't have dark hair on arms or legs. I'll never use a cartridge blade again.
Jill Snoddon can I ask how often you have to shave? I want to do it but I'm scared...do you use a shaving cream or do it dry as she did?
OMG - you are so cute! This is awesome and thank you for the informatiion filled and non-judgemental video. Normally I will literally tweeze every single hair (it takes over an hour to get it all, or at least the majority of the hairs - which means the darker ones). So I think I will try it. It would be a relief to find another method that is not so tedious.
Thank you Rosa 🥰
Really great video! You gave so much information that wasn’t in all the other videos I’ve watched. Phew! Glad I watched yours. Thanks.
Thank you Julie 🤗
Love your PASSION and delivery of content. Thanks so much!
Out of the ones I watched (cus I'm new to it and I'm nervous as all get out) this one's the best
What a nice compliment! 🥰 thank you 🌻 Everyone annoying to somebody just depend on the audience 😉
But I’ma take your kind words an run with it 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️
I have no idea why i haven't tried this years ago. Im eager to begin doing this now. I know this help makeup application look so much better.
I love the results with makeup on :)
Did it worked well for you??
This is the best shaving your face video I've seen.
Thank you Doll ☺️
And let's just say that was a while ago...
I'm not believing that your skin is so beautiful
i want to try this but don't want to break out or have stubble as well as having to do it for the rest of my life lol
Subscribed and looking forward to your “recipe”! This face shaving will be a first for me…wish me luck!
This is such a good video! The best video I have seen thus far about face shaving. You are so informative! :)
+Valeria Valencia Thanks doll!
+Valeria Valencia I totally agree!
I’ve noticed since I started wearing makeup about 3 years ago that my nose would always come out funky because of all my nose hair 😣 I wear glasses as well so whenever doing my face makeup I’d be really close up to the mirror and seeing it super up close just added to the paranoia of it looking too fuzzy
I’ve been trying to find something to get the hair off without ripping it with wax or shaving with a razor and recently found out about these blades and seeing this video makes me want to do it even moreee
New sub
hi raquel,
i just want to thank you so much for what you do! ive had issues oversleeping recently, but now, thanks to seeing your face, i don't think ill be able to even fall asleep in the first place because of how deathly terrified i am that my sleep paralysis demon is going to look even REMOTELY like you! the constant bumps in the night can no longer be brushed off, knowing someone that looks like you walks this earth!
thank you again for everything you do!
Wtf?
@@groovysoo499 hm?
Your video was just the assurance I needed to shave my face, learning technique and aftercare. Thanks for your inspiration.
Sandi
You have no idea how much your tutorial has helped me! I dont even need to watch anything else ur amazing❤
awww thank you 💕
Just ordered some razors cant wait to try this!
Wow! I didn't think to do this on dry skin.
tbh your snaggletooth is so cute idk if that’s the correct name for it but it’s your fang with the little gap next to it i think it’s SO cute
Tee hee... 🙈 thank you 💕
Please make a video on your diy face oil!
+Isabel Coupland you got it ;)
Raquel From Inside Out
Did you make the video?
@@raquelfrominsideout use astringent first and let it dry then shave? Would witch hazel work? Should you moisturize afterwards?
you have beautiful skin, I'm 35 & still have problems with my skin.
Thank you so much for making this video I appreciate it
OMG, I’m a senior and would have done this decades ago if I had only known!
your skin is incredible do you have a skin care routine in your videos
Thanks for the thoroughly informative video, best on the topic so far. You are entertaining yet relaxing to listen to and by the way, even with no make up, you are beautiful and beautifully defined features naturally :)
+anne999 Thank you so much, your comment just made me warm like butter :)
You're very welcome :) :)
Great video! Love dermaplaning! Super informative and helpful for woman wanting to shave their face! I did a video a while back on this a while back but I think it's great to hear info like this from an aesthetician!
+The Beauty Fox Why thank you, I'm sure you can agree seeing the amount of misinformation our there on woman health and beauty is just out of control these days, so I'm happy to contribute positively anyway I can. :)
This was awesome and I just finished. My face feels so good now. I have dermaplaned before but I wasn't ever sure if I was doing it correctly. You explained it so well and now I have the confidence to keep doing this.
Ya Welcome boo ✨🫶✨
What a fantastic video. Very thorough and educating. Thank you.
Thank you! Glad it was helpful!
