Consolidated PBY Catalina, a long range plane for maritime intelligence and antisub plane also as well. Now (how about nowadays?) as a waterplane for woodfires. Okay, good, then thanks for that.
And I just have this model in scale 1/72 of plane AE-A of Spitfire mk V.b with 20 mm Hispano-Suiza 404 -- cannons.AE-A/Ep120 flown by Sqn.Ldr. G.Northcott, specially signed for "City of Winnipeg" or "Canadian".
Can't tell if you're being serious, but I'll explain it anyway. That's what's known as a roundel, very common amounts air forces all over the world, and its used to identify aircraft as well as acting as the 'logo' for the airforce
It was only one spanish 109 without the swastika. Maybe it was on an airshow in germany before the show in duxford, and they had no time to paint it back on.
@@EpicTalfo Rather than painting it on, operators will use stickers that can be removed to have display flights in nations where the symbol is banned. And sometimes those stickers come off in flight.
Lockheed twin motors is also just something I wish to be seen. For example B-37 Venture. Maybe next year, as like I wish. =))
A great video as ever. Thanks Jason.
Amazing
Wow, just a sqn of mighty Spitfires! Full squadron! Hell yeah! ))=D Sources: Dr. A.Price.

I might be wrong completely but isn’t the blue spitfire the navy/carrier one
No....Photo-Recon.
No planes of Hawker Hurricane type..?
Ari Inkeroinen was not any hurricanes this year
@@Transportman Okay, atta boy. Understood that, thanks so many.
Why do the British planes have the Bulls Eye marking? Seems like it gives the enemy a direct target to help them aim for!

Most unusual to see the Spanish built '109' without a Swastika in British skies! This is a first.

@@FiveCentsPlease thanks for that information about the stickers 👍
Ha-1112 M1L Buchón
Its owners preference. I believe that aircraft is owned privately, and it's up to whoever has the money as to whether it flies with swastikas or not.
Keeping a Buchon in WW2 Luftwaffe colours is simply childish.
@paul I saw it at the cinema when it opened in 1969, child. They should have put it back to an authentic Spanish scheme straight after filming.
@paul Never with a Merlin engine.
@paul So you finally agree?
Well they are all Merlins in this video.
why am I seeing aircraft with engine problems in so many videos now, use a SLOW SHUTTER SPEED !!! 1/50 through to 1/120 will work, 1/50 best.
Bob Charles hi bob I think it’s the way the new video cameras work .
