Have been at Duxford many times in the 1990's. The show has become much bigger in the meantime. Impressive.
Thank you for watching :)!
I, m a duxford fan ...I,ve been quite a few times to the flying legends show ..not recently..the last time was the Saturday show prior to the Sunday crash between the sky raider and the p51 ..but while guys like you give us footage like this then the show comes to us ..thx mate you are so welcome
Haha thank you very much for watching.
Well done buddy I was there on the day great memories thank you for posting
Cheers. Your very welcome!
This Years Airshow was awesome! The F-22 was my personally Highlight! And your Video is really great :)
Cheers It certainly was for me as well although many of the traditionalists disagreed!
Great video. I was there on the day but had to leave early so thanks for showing me what I missed!
Cheers. Pleased I have this video for you :)!
Really cool footage!! The F-22 is incredible! LIKED!!!
Cheers, sure was a show stealer!
Good video. Been there (you've actually photographed me on several occasions). Nice to remember.
Haha which person were you? Thank you for watching !!
Brilliant video mate! A huge like! A lot of work must've gone into a great air show like this. I couldn't watch all the video now but I look forward to watching more later : )
Thanks :)!
When you said identical...you really meant it! The f-22 and mustang together was perfect. Nice shot of the Corsair, also known as "freedom with wings"! Loved every bit mate, especially that sound :D
Cheers, yeah it was amazing :)!
?
It is a show for just war birds, but it was a welcome addition to a ever boring Duxford line up.
nice work ..no bullshit just aircraft ..thats how its done ..excellent fiming mate duxford is second to none and your footage kept it that way ..
Thats how I like to make my videos! Thanks for the kind words :)!
those props deliver an amazing amount of thrust spinning so slow!!! :)
Lol yeah!
Thats just an illusion of the camera. The props are spinning much faster. Possibly 1200-1500 rpm
Great video mate! Some great catches! Have not been able to watch all of it however what I have seen is super
Cheers, just take a skip through it :)
Thank you! What a treat!
Thanks very much for watching! Happy New year :)
i was at dux, it's just fantastic !
Damn right. Thanks for watching.
the guy who is described the Corsair is wrong on why it has the wings in that shape it wasn't cause of the gear landing it was because the propeller was a little bigger for more power on speed. Great video
Indeed, we need to get rid of this guy! Thanks for watching :)
great job ..some really nice video there thanks......btw no sign of the P40f?
Cheers. Yeah didn't display.
SUPER VIDEO
Thank you!
Cool video
Cheers !!
I was there :P
:P
What extras does the gold pass ticket include for the Duxford airshow?
No idea sorry, look on the website?
I think the Hawker Fury was the last word in piston engine fighter aircraft? Wrong?
The Hawker Sea Fury most certainly was :)!
It really wouldn't..
Captain Eric Brown knew a bit about aircraft and flying. ;)
Here's his opinion on Fury v Bearcat...
“In the case of the Bearcat I found myself inevitably comparing it with the Hawker Sea Fury, and there really was very little to choose between the two. The Bearcat probably had the edge on climb and manoeuvrability, but was not such a good weapons platform nor as good in instrument-flight conditions as the Sea Fury. It was rather like the Fw 190 versus Spitfire IX situation - they were so evenly matched that if they met in combat the skill of the pilot alone would have been the deciding factor. Both were certainly great aircraft.”
