Renovation of a Camper Trailer. Episode #3 - Application of Fibreglass Mat and Resin

Welcome to Episode 3 of our Camper Trailer Renovation.
This is a continuation of Episode 2's roof repair. Repairing the roof is one of the most important parts of any holiday camper renovation and you have to get it right to avoid problems down the road with leaking or breakage.
This series is to repair and rejuvenate a 1992 Skyline Nomad. There are many older trailers around, falling into disrepair. The goal is to keep these out of the landfill, give them a second life and provide a means to create affordable recreation for any family.
The roof repair details the use of fibreglass mat and resin to achieve a durable, waterproof finish that requires minimal maintenance.
*Remember when handling products such as resin that a respirator is recommended, and always read product directions, adhering to all safety protocols.

How did you do the drip cap?? Outnof wood

The drip cap was wood and then covered with fiberglass mat and resin.
