How to Fiberglass a Holiday Trailer Roof

Fillet the corners with automotive bondo.

Can you paint the fiber glass surface using something like a nonskid deck paint? I’m considering coating a boat floor in fiberglass to help better waterproof the surface

Yes, you can! You would want to use a polyurethane paint with a non-skid additive. If you put down gelcoat you have to put down non-waxed. If you are re-fiber glassing when you do the gelcoat you can add a non-skid additive and the gelcoat waxed.

@@MackenzieWoodworking one last question, is it possible to add some non skid additive to the polyester resin to give river glass some grip? I was contemplating keeping the wood look of the plywood so I wouldn’t paint the surface. I like the natural wood look but was wondering, can I add some
Media like crushed walnut to the top coat and then go over it again with resin??
