I’ll take BGC/Eastwood/Ortigas/Ayala with all of their amenities, restaurants, and Malls and branch out from there to travel and visit different places as opposed to the Province and their abysmal medical response times or limited services.
You're probably one of the few priviledged individuals who lived in a city. Every person I knew who once worked in BGC or NCR doesn't wish to go back as a corpo rat.
I will be arriving in Manila August 16. Would love to catch up with you for a coffee. My goal is to meet as many Americans as possible to avoid isolation in a new big city. Let me know if you are going to catch up for a coffee.
I was shown 15 year old units with mold and cracked tile. With furniture bought years back from a place like Divisoria. Run down kitchens, terrible color scheme, no attention to details. 45,000₱ 😮
You said some of these units have not been rented for 1 or 2 years. How is this possible? I have seen many large condo buildings in BGC with not many units lite up at night. Do wealthy investors buy these and just let them sit until they appreciate? You would think the condo fees, maintenance and utilities would cost them more than any future profit. I would love for someone to sit down and do a video about how the condo market works in BGC.
What does 2+2 mean? I am interested in living in BGC. Though I'm still in the States. May I ask if I can get some info to find a condo when I am in the country? Thank you. Please continue posting. It helps a lot.
A cheat code would be to buy the 40k condo, buy a rice cooker then buy meals around the karinderya's in south cembo which is just behind Grand Hyatt hotel You cook your RICE and you can buy 2 meals for like $2-3 haha
One year empty that’s all u need to know about the market their way over priced I’d offer 19k max because that’s fair market value and I’m sure their are 100s of units empty their because they are extremely over priced by 30-40%
If you have a monthly salary of 50k. 30k rent plus food and personal necessities, can you even earn? It's all right if your monthly salary is 100k a month. I'm curious of the cost of living there a month! What jobs you need to afford a condo. Can you also conduct interviews?
Mergim. I used to live in that block and the security guard you met (Kuya Mar) is an absolute legend. If I flick across some $ do you rekon you can either go back sometime and present it to him, or we can put together a gift basket? I want to send him something. Hit me up!
Going to Avida in 30 minutes. I cant get a realtor to show me anything except 60k studios or 15 year old buildings with no remodeling. They are looking for the juice. Self serving me thinks. Most dont even reply after I mention rental of 1br.
Do I just post on a Facebook BGC group to find one of these agents to help me look for a unit? Can they show us several units? Is there a fee? Strangely, these videos do not take you step by step. It's just content to show the units with a lot of hand gestures 😄 Please help.
Shoe box living with noisy aircon = split aircon is a must with the compressor outside the room 😮 These high rise apartments are ok until the building gets infested with cockroaches once the cockroaches get inside the wiring it’s game over for me
"Massive green space" 😂😂 Your desperation to convince people that BGC is the place to be is rather amusing. Why the heck would I pay TWICE what I pay (17k) for a nice 2-bedroom mid-rise condo, in a really mice peaceful development, with a great view of the Antipolo Hills, in Pasig, backing onto the Marikina River? With 2 pools, two clubhouses, a gym, a bunch of well-known brand restaurants just a few minutes walk outside, along with a huge SM hypermarket at Tiendesitas and Landers Arcovia only 5 minutes away. And, because I own my own 125cc motorbike, only 10-15 minutes from all the big malls in Ortigas, 10 minutes from BGC, 20 minutes from Makati, and easy access to the countryside out in Rizal. Seriously, people need to stop drinking the BGC KoolAid and realise there is so much more to the metro.
How many parks and green areas are there in your area? With so many parks and playgrounds, BGC is an excellent place to live if you have children. Additionally, everything in the city is designed to be accessible by foot, which is beneficial to your health. We can simply walk to the grocery store, to get a haircut, to the movies, to the park with our dogs, and so on. If you are single, owning a motorcycle is convenient, but if you are with family, you will need to drive your car through traffic to go to the places you named.
It's rather amusing how one can put down other's recommendations because one thinks his/er opinion is superior to the rest. BGC KoolAid? How laughable. Has it crossed your mind that maybe, just maybe, the people living in BGC have already done the math and found it most logical to reside there and not in your glorious mid-rise condo, wherever that is? Has it ever crossed your mind, before you so arrogantly bragged about your place, that these people residing in BGC must have... hmmm... considered several factors that would cater to their personal and family's needs before they selected BGC among other options? What is good and practical for you may not be good for the rest of the world. So, stop shoving your opinion down our throats. Your desperation to convince us that your 17k unit is the better option is simply too obvious.
@@john792A2 BGC is an overpriced, glorified place. If you have children you'd need to pay like 100k for a place lmao. You might as well live in the West which is over all better. Imagine paying 35k for a box. One of the condos was 30k with a fucking 24 inch TV lmao. People who go here think they are special.
Those look good. BTW im the guy who said hi to you in Market Market last night.
Thank you Mergim really appreciated u showing us BGC units ❤

good luck with the cost of living 😂😂 food is not cheap
@@eegt628 it’s not luck it’s planning
I never said I didn’t like Province food it’s lami!🤤
@@Plant_Traced i never claimed food in province is bad tho

Mergim i like the 3rd condo because of the view towards the bay area , thanks for sharing
Really loving these condo options showcase series Mergim, keep up the good work!
This is really helpful. Thank you Mergim!
Thank u mergim for the upload❤
Hello chairman! enjoy vlogging keep safe❤
Looks pretty good, the units just got better and better haha

Can you do a video on 2 bedroom units? We're planning on moving there next year and I'd like to have an idea.
I'm so sure somewhere in BGC there is a $20k/mo unit. You just have to look and don't rush. A $20K per month is more reasonable.
I was shown 15 year old units with mold and cracked tile. With furniture bought years back from a place like Divisoria. Run down kitchens, terrible color scheme, no attention to details. 45,000₱ 😮
The Chairman is also humble and respectful. I only get my info from this man of my birth country. Thank you from Houston Tx
Avida Towers at 34th Street is also near Uprown Mall. 👍
Hello! Love the last apartment dude.
Awesome 👏
when I hear or see a coffee table, I remember your frieñd Justin..😅😜😝😀👍✌
Not bad unit at all. It’s doable since location is perfect!
Nice chairman..the last condo is realy nice
The 1st 2BD/2bth was nice and spacious enough. Just wish it had a balcony

Ditto. I would like to find out the reason for the long vacancy times.
Well done video
Hey Mergim.. Can you do Eastwood /Calle Industria next?
Can you show something in the 50k range
What does 2+2 mean?
5:57 Oven..nice. The last one is the better one-no balcony-shame
I like the last one. Mergim, when I visit again, can I ask you to be my guide with condo-hunting?
Would you please check out the luxe residences in BGC.
BCG is so expensive when compared to its equivalents in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. The value is just not there.
Mergim, how do these compare to Bangkok? I’m thinking about moving to BGC.
How much is a 2 bed 2 bath
What does 2+2 mean? I am interested in living in BGC. Though I'm still in the States. May I ask if I can get some info to find a condo when I am in the country? Thank you. Please continue posting. It helps a lot.

😮😮😮😮😊
I notice washers... but no dryers? Along that line... what is the average cost for laundry services? Love the reviews.
I have a slightly higher budget. Could you show 100k condos?
Are the terms ever negotiable? Like offering 1 month deposit and first and last month rent? And if not is it easy to get the deposits back or not?
I want the 4th unit. Who to call?

Mergim, no new Vlogs? What happened?
I like the 3rd one. What building is that
Same here
What are some websites you recommend that let me preview condos online?
One last question what about houses for rent in BGC?
Going to Avida in 30 minutes. I cant get a realtor to show me anything except 60k studios or 15 year old buildings with no remodeling. They are looking for the juice. Self serving me thinks. Most dont even reply after I mention rental of 1br.

Your contacts are not valid according to gmail.
What’s the point of these videos then?
Jerde Ville
that last one would have been perfect if not for that awful living room layout.
Are these for sale or rent?? And who the hell design these units?? It’s just horrible layout..
That bed would have stains on it if I lived there
😂
Stop making these vids when your contacts are fictitious!
hey, talk in us dollars ???
