Pattaya Thailand Condos & Apartments Rent 2024
Вставка
- Опубліковано 15 січ 2024
- I visit many different condos and apartments in the Central Pattaya area. Only the condos and apartments I'm seriously considering and would recommend to friends and family make it into my videos. Cheap rent and an excellent location for quick access around the city are why I love this area of Pattaya, Thailand. From all these properties, I'm less than a 9-minute scooter ride away from every place I want to be in the city.
Gig helps me translate the rent information. Most people showing me property in this area speak very little English. A pocket translator can be frustratingly slow in these situations. The benefit of living away from the crazy busy tourist beach area comes at the price of being surrounded by folks who don't speak English. That's a fair and manageable trade.

Now this is how you show condos. Just the basics, fast and internet speed.
I do my best to deliver. 👊🏼
I was about to write the same comment! This is how everyone should present condos!
@@JakeSnowLiveSimpleown exotic cars?
@@robertbradshaw1880 No, only scooters.
Like how he points out the smell - many many apts smell like urine and #2 fyi , be cautious of apartments that smell flowery when viewing. Often the piping was installed improperly in the bathrooms/building (irreparable) This is the same at hotels. Even 3 star hotels often have a rank odour from the bath.
by far the best at showing condos for rent. short and to the point! good job.
Thank you very much!
Makes me rethink my life in the states where I’m paying 2K a month for single bedroom in the concrete jungle no where near any kind of water.
Earning US dollars and living in Thailand is ideal. For me, It's like getting a 3x pay increase.
@@JakeSnowLiveSimple My Army retirement plus compensation for injuries suffered in the line of duty, I make $10K a month. I need to move over there. I'd be happy in $986 a month place! Amazing! Thanks for the info! Cheers from America!
You'll feel rich living in Thailand!
Facts bro... I stay talking about how I've paid top dollar to live around shiity people with bad attitude and dangerous ass environments.
Thank you for being SIMPLE , STRAIGHTFORWARD, INFORMATIVE! Great job 👏 saved me time and gave me all info I needed.
You're welcome, and thank you. 🙏🏼
Great video!!
Thank you!
Thank you for asking a lot of questions. Especially about the washer and dryer. You are very informative and I really appreciate that.
You're welcome, and thank you. I'm happy you liked it. 🙏🏼
Hands down the best video on this particular subject and I've been watching videos like these for almost a year while I prepare myself to officially move there for good.
Wow, thank you for your feedback. 🙏🏼
@@JakeSnowLiveSimple I agree, concise, to the point, no lollygagging. I want to see cost of living and the quality of the units /amenities.
@@PhilosophicalSquid Helpful feedback, thank you.
This! This is what I want to see 😁 I would also like to see short term that are older (larger rooms) but are budget friendly, and in other towns near the beaches, not just Pattaya if possible (so many do Pattaya and Jomtein constantly, though none have fit in as many units while being as informative as you) Thanks for a wonderfully informative vlog, and thanks for not showing what’s inside all the empty cupboards and talking about every tap and doorknob you see 😂
You're welcome, and thank you! I do my best. 😉
I agree with you. Exactly what I'm interested in seeing too
Quit thinking with your western mind, older doesnt mean bigger in thailand. It just means older and more problems.
Thank you, you are the best communicator about rental needs in Pattaya
You're welcome, and thank you. 🙏🏼
I like how he comments on the smell, most smell good or neutral.
Bad smells are a warning sign of problems and a deal killer for me.
Well done Jake and Gig!
I hope the new year is treating you well.
Thank you, Steve. 🙏🏼
The rooms aren't only nice your room hostess / guide was so lovely mkmk!!!
Thank you, straight to point review!!!
You're welcome, and thank you. I'm happy you liked it. 🙏🏼
Really the best Video about condos in Pattaya on the whole Internet!!
Wow, I'm happy you liked it, thanks! I do my best. 👊🏼
Great Video, time to watch more of em. Looking into moving to Pattaya this year! Thank you for sharing.
You're welcome, and thank you! 🙏🏼
I love this way of showing and comparing condos/apt. Subscribed!
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Great vid, very quick (too quick for me, I had to re-view many times for prices and names). I appreciate that you mention the smell because we all know how Thailand smells but no one mentions it.
Thank you. 👊🏼
Smells of what ??
@@jzk2020 Food/cooking, building materials, and other developing country odors are present only in the big cities. Every developing country I've been to is a bit smelly in the city.
The Philippines had the worst off-gassing smelly building materials in new condos built in Makati, Manilla. 🤢
@@JakeSnowLiveSimple but don't cities like Los Angeles and New York smell like shit all the time? All my friends who live there, say those cities stink.
Lol, that's a good point, and true.
Hey Jake! Thank you so much for always asking about pets. This detail interests me a lot and will subscribe now to your channel just because you were kind enough to ask that detail. Truly appreciate it! 🎉
Thank you very much! 🙏🏼
Thanks for the convo apartments, please keep them up! Glad to see current videos with current prices.
You're welcome, and thank you. 🙏
Quality video mate well done better than any other apartment vids I’ve seen
Thank you, much appreciated. 🙏🏼
Finally!!! Thankyou Sir! Totally subscribed!
Thank you! 🙏
Great condo reviews. I must say that I'm totally dumbfounded at the cost price of condos in Pattaya now. Theyve nearly quadrupled in value since 2012ish, which is when I had the money to buy a few, so I enquired back then. Kind of kicking myself now.🙄
2012 was the bottom of the real estate market in the US after the 2008 crash. Condos and houses in prime locations were crazy cheap back then. Maybe the financial crises also suppressed real estate value in Thailand at that time. 2008 - 2012, everything was on sale.
As a future resident of Thailand thanks for taking the time to make this video.
You're welcome! 👊🏼
Liked and Subbed! Your a wealth of information! TY!
Thank you! 🙏
great video. amazing how you can live nice and comfortable in pattaya without the game playing or one uping in America and probably many other countries. I have been to southeast asia only twice and both thailand and both in 2023 so im a newbie but i love it. Dont get me wrong, I love where i live in the U.S. but southeast asia is so affordable and some of the nicest people i have met.
Thank you. 🙏.
It's easy to live a simple, peaceful, and happy life in Thailand.
Excellent way to review condos. Subscribed.
Thank you! 🙏🏼
God D***, straight and to the point. I don't usually comment on videos, but "Well Done"!
Thank you! 👊🏼
Nice job showing the condos/apts. It is also funny not to have hot water.
Thanks! 👊🏼
Welcome back!! 😅 Need more of your video
👊🏼 I keep getting distracted by other projects.
Incredible value. Big and clean and modern. Puts the western world to shame.
Housing is so much more affordable here in Thailand.
Absolutely. Unlike Crisis hit Britain which has its worst housing crisis in history. Where I live in Sussex even Social Housing is expensive. 700 quid for a small one bed flat per month before bills. Absolutely outrageous. @@JakeSnowLiveSimple
Wow. Similar rent in the US. I can't imagine being a young person today. Housing/Income ratios were so much better when I was starting out in the 90s.
Great video , very informative, please make more content for us 💪🏽🙏🏽
Thank you! 👊🏼 I'll do my best.
Very fast pace, efficient and informative. 👍
I'm glad you liked it. 👊🏼
right to the point and broken down .excellent info. gracias
Con Gusto. 😉
micro itemizing glad you was asking about the refrigerator. have to pay extra for everything kinda adds up quick and sucks
I was surprised by how many little extra charges there were.
Hey thanks for the videos - you should do more videos like that - It was for me the best videos - You did go straight to the point cut the price and give the total at the bottom line.
I will make more. Thank you for your feedback.
Great Job short and to the point and all prices with internet speeds. Plus all the condo's looked clean.
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. 👊🏼
That’s Interesting! Have a great weekend!
Thank you, and have a great weekend yourself. ✌🏼
Good job. It was short, percise, and checked a lot of boxes 🤌 great video.
Thank you!
Dammmn. That one bedroom at the end is nice...
That condo complex was very nice, well maintained.
Great and detailed videos, outstanding. Thanks
You're welcome, and thank you! 👊🏼
It is a little easier for me to follow Merican English than Ozzie English or English English. Gmap links are a big plus. I wouldn't mind keeping a Siamese cat in the condo either. Thanks and good luck with your channel Jake. Subscribed!
Thank you very much! 🙏🏼
The last one was very nice and worth it for 1k a month. That looks like a 200-300 a night suite in USA.
I had the same thoughts about that.
Thanks Sir, very informative and to the Point Videos, not some tired babbling af Video, thanks for your Straightforwardness....
You're welcome, and thank you. I do my best. 🙏🏼
Great INFORMATIVE video. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you, I'm happy you liked it!
thanks for this. i'm considering all areas of thailand even though i rather not be in a party town, sometimes one cant pass up on a good deal.
You're welcome. I felt the same about Pattaya until I moved here to check it out. I don't drink or go out to bars. It's easy to find housing away from the tourist/party areas.
Great video! 👍🏽
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, and you're welcome! 👊🏼
35000 bht per month for what looked like no more than 40sqm in central pattaya with no (sea) view is insanely high.
From what I've seen, the 2 and 3 bedroom units demand a much higher monthly rent. There is a surplus of studio and 1 bedroom/ 1 bath units and a shortage of 2 and 3 bedroom units.
Cool tour and great info!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Enjoyed your video. You asked for a like at the end of the video but ended the video so quickly. I had to go to my history to send you a like.
There was a large jump in prices.
Will you be doing one bedroom apartments around 15,000baht anytime?
Thank you! I'll do my best to get another video out. I like the ฿15,000 condo range.
Excellent video. Very informative. Your girl has nice ink work. Like & subscribed.
Thank you. Gig says, thanks! 🙏🏼
that's it I'm moving to thailand. I'm tired of these Los Angeles prices. I've been to thailand 3 times and it's my favorite place in the world. time to relocate. thanks for the tips
Lower living expenses, happy people, and, in many ways, more freedom make it easy to be happy here.
be right back, moving to Pattaya. Thx for the info on the video
You're welcome. 👊🏼
Very good info cheers for that 😊
I'm glad you liked it. 👊🏼
These cheap apartments would be great especially since I am planning on teaching English there very soon.
It's an easy place to live cheap.
That free wifi is excellent. Keep all the appliances and streaming fees. I'll provide my own.

nice video man!!!! I like .

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT VIDEO

Awesome video but I would love Apus comfort for under 12K Baht! That would be perfect!! Keep up the great videos and thanks!!

"Insect Cleaning Crew is a Feature not a Bug!" Ancient Thailand Proverb.
Right, Lol.
Thank you for adding if pets are allowed. One day I would love to move the Thailand, but definitely would like to bring my dog with me in the future.
You're welcome. 👊🏼
Wait till I retire, man it's gonna be lit
👊🏼
Dang the first one is all I'd need, I'd be as happy as a bedbug in a rug. Getting heavy equipment operator training soon and am thinking of trying another country once I get work experience. Hello from Canada.
Hello! Living and working in Thailand would be an excellent experience for you. I was a heavy equipment mechanic in my younger years. I would have enjoyed working in other countries for the experience.
Thank you very much for your video - all is excellent, the information is presented perfectly: everything is brief, clear and to the point.
Could you please suggest if there any person or agency who could help with renting? Of course not just for "Thank you"😉
Currently I'm in Pattaya, renting a Condo through the Booking, but i would like to rent for a long-term (6+ months) and as I see it's much cheaper to contact with owner, but I'm afraid that a lot of locals don't speak very well on English, and it could lead to some misunderstanding or long time of explanation through translator😔
You're welcome. 🙏🏼
Unfortunately, I don't have a person or agency to recommend. Many of the owners and managers speak English, or at least broken English. The workers who usually show me the units speak poor to no English. Using a pocket translator or phone app to translate can be painfully slow.
I find it easy to make new friends in Thailand. Female friends, especially, are happy to help translate when looking for condos, opening bank accounts, etc...
Those APUS units were lovely..
I agree, very nice units.
I'm in the process of planning a move to Pattaya. I enjoyed this video, it's not another video of the shiny new high rises in Jomtien. I particularly liked the "provide your own mattress" unit. I would much rather buy a top quality memory foam mattress than sleep on the provided ones that are less comfortable than my carpeted floor where I live now. In addition, I just want an open space to divide up how I want rather than the rigid layout of new condos.
I'm undecided about laundry. Am I better off having someone else do it? If I'm doing it myself, I really want a dryer. I used drying racks in Ukraine and they leave my clothes wrinkled and stiff whereas a tumble dryer has my clothes come out soft. Having a weekly maid service is a must for me, I'm glad you mentioned it.
I really need to find someone who I can talk with about renting or buying a unit in some of the older buildings. I'm even willing to pay for build out the way I want it set up.
The laundry service is cheap and available everywhere. I've never had any clothes lost or damaged. Laundromats are also easy to find here. I prefer laundry service. It's so inexpensive. I don't like wasting time washing clothes.
Gig has a washer and dryer that I currently use. I agree with you; it's nice having the dryer.
Good thing I have been thinking about leaving the USA permanently and move to Thailand
It's easy to live a simple life here.
You asked about pets, thank you. This is critical info for me as I'm planning to move there with my dog july-sept. I've actually been thinking I might need to choose the Philippines as the price of airfare and having a literal dog sitter might be cheaper there than rent in Thailand for the medical tourism I'm heading out there for.
You're welcome. I'm curious what prices are in the Philippines now. It's been 5 years since I've been there.
your video is so well edited. It's so tiring to watch many others with much less content in twice the time to view. you move there full time?
Thank you, I do my best. 👊🏼
great video man !!
Thank you! 👊🏼
Thanks for the updates on the condo apartment's I am retiring and moving to Thailand next year 😂
You're welcome. 👊🏼
im 27 and looking for a cheap place so thanks for this videos mate.
You're welcome. 👊🏼
I really enjoyed the concise information and the range of places you cover. However, it would be much more helpful if you pinpointed each condo/apartment on a map and include their addresses. The Google Map you circle at the beginning tells us pretty much nothing.
The Google Map links are in the video description, and they are always there for all of my condo videos. The Google map in the video is only used to show viewers the general area of the city I'm looking at.
Here are the links.

Great video finally make more
Thank you. 👊🏼
GOOD JOB doing the reviews...i came to do a Visa but find todays Pattaya...like most Cities today...overcrowded...noisy...hectic...and lacking the old Spirit...location is what killed a lot of interest in the cheap condos...i refuse to ride scooter bikes around...we humans never know when to quit...when enough is enough...every City just keeps adding more....but a Beach town should feel like a beach town...i just do not get that feeling in Pattaya or Jomtiem these days....just Bars and Restaurants and Massage and more B&R&M etc etc and a million Condo units...most empty.
Thank you! I like the convenience of having easy access to everything living in Pattaya, but I understand exactly what you are saying. I've been in Nong Saeng, Udon Thani, for over a month helping Gig renovate her house. I love it up here! Peaceful, clean, quiet, and the people are friendlier. I also have not seen a single cock roach yet. This particular area reminds me of growing up in Wyoming on the family ranch.
Pattaya is a paradise!
I like it.
If, yes I know, but if I didn't have a sensitivity to humidity, I'd be there in a second. Yes, I have a Transporter!
It's taken me about three years to completely acclimate to Thailand's climate. I'm from Wyoming, cold and dry.
This dude asked all the right questions 😂
wish I've seen your video before I came to pattaya :D dang
👊🏼
thx for share with this ! :) did you look into jomtiem area ? to fins similiar occasions to rent ?
You're welcome, and yes, I did. 😉
Those prices could leave you with a lot of money leftover for travel and entertainment
Exactly why I live here. More money to do the things I enjoy.
nice video dude
Thank you! 👊🏼
9:17 I like the two bedroom but not for $1,000😂. 01-28-24
Limited availability of two and three bedroom units in this area makes them a bit pricey.
Thanks for the great content buddy. I thought it’s not possible for a foreigner to purchase property in Thailand. Has something changed?
You're welcome👊🏼. Foreigners can purchase condos. A condominium complex is limited to 49% foreigner ownership. We can also purchase a house by using a Thai comapny that purchases the property on our behalf.
Thanks for the video you got a new subscriber. Looking to find a place to move into start of 2025 for 6mo or 12mo lease. Only thing is I don't drive motorbike, so all the places east of sukumvit road would be hard to navigate. Last condo you show is very nice (and the price proves it heh heh)
I was a bit confused though, were the last two condos you showed from the same complex? The 2bd 1 bath and 1bd 1 bath?
Thank you! 🙏🏼 Yes, the last two condos were at APUS. A great location, easy walking distance to food, groceries, shopping malls, and the beach.
I'm glad you mentioned the confusion. Next time, I'll add something visual to the video to clarify.
No worries it was just a small bit of confusion. Thanks for reply@@JakeSnowLiveSimple
Any of them except the last one, in Central Pattaya. All the cheap ones, are on the other side sukhunvit road, the dark side or East Pattaya, as they call. That I thing is the big gap here, more than the price, the location.
I was surprised to find so many available units.
Good no 🐶🐕 very good 💯😊
It's easy to find pet free units every where in Thailand.
You ask lot question love it ur funny
I'm a very curious person. 😉
Internet speed important. Nice you do that. How about high end apartments?
Here is a link to another video I made. Towards the end, it includes higher-end units that you might like. ua-cam.com/video/R5eRcGE0RgA/v-deo.htmlsi=wlsTP5-ZYfcLETj8
Growing up without air conditioning and being an adult without air conditioning after it being a part of your home for years are two different things
I agree.
Exactly
I live in Kalasin on a farm that is 45 rai, I manage on 20000B a month. my pension is about 80000B a month if you live a normal life here like you live in Europe you don't need a lot of money. When I lived outside Pattaya, I rented a house for 3500B a month with 3 bedrooms and a large outdoor space 5 minutes from the beach. I have learned that there are 3 different price classes in Thailand
1 Tourist price
2 Tourist with girlfriend
3 Thai who negotiate for you and do not say they are negotiating for a tourist
Good information. Thank you for sharing. 🙏🏼
Well done, but please try to slow it down a bit so the info can be absorbed!
Thank you for the feedback.
I thought it was great. If you want to catch your thoughts or a screen of text, slap that pause button.
The last one is amazing. I wonder how much it would cost in Canada for example... 800k?
My U.S. home base is near the beaches of the Gulf Coast. A three-bedroom, three-bathroom unit in similar condition to the last two units in the video sells for $800+, while a one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit sells for $400K+.
Sounds all great, but when it comes to getting a job, I guess not much option, it is good if your retired.
That's true. Make US dollars and then spend it in Thailand. Many people my age or younger have remote jobs or have rental income from their home country.
now THIS THISSS is how you make content not telling us a life story get straight to the title new subbie
Thank you, I'm happy you liked it!. 🙏🏼
I rather do the cheap one, top floor, with decent internet, security, similar to what i did while i was in cebu
👌🏼
Is the last unit you showed in the video at the Apus Condo still available?
I have no idea which units are still available. There are always units becoming available if the last one is already rented. It's surprisingly easy to find available rentals everywhere I've been in Thailand.
