i think the planet/moon that Cal is on in the official art is Concordia. The biome looks very similar to how it looked in the clone wars and it would explain the destroyed planet in the sky; being Concord Dawn.
Seems likely. Could also be Iego or another semi-exploded planet/moon. There's a decent number of them in canon or legends
This video reminded me of old times. I cannot wait . This game is going to set the bar for the future of Star Wars games.

I feel like if there is a Coruscant sequence I would think of it as a “GTFO Coruscant ASAP” kind of mission. I would think he may have been taken to Coruscant as captive by the Imperial Pau’an and could be something he wants for his own interest and not notifying higher authorities of the Empire that he has a Jedi in his custody. Also could be the time when he gets his lightsaber back? I really don’t know just a theory. Thinking it could be like going to Nur in Fallen Order and never able to return after completion. A one time thing but it may be an epic experience soaking in the Coruscant vibes.

I feel like that'd be fun in a different type of game, but in this particular series it would be bad
I feel like it would mess up combat a bit. Like was it really that fun to covert the droids to your side? It would be like that but with the human ai
I hope the double blade and duel wield comes back and hopefully one of the new force powers is lighting
I agree with lightning like imagine he was pushed mentally and uses lightning while fighting a boss or something.
That would be clever but remember he is a Jedi so that can cause conflict within Cal maybe making him an Inquisitor in the first place.
@@Fugal863 how about electric judgment it a light side version of force lightning but not as powerful as Sith lightning but harmful to dark side users.
I’m no expert but can’t only Seth use lighting?

It would be very difficult for Cal to get into the old Jedi temple seeing as its now the Imperial Palace. It would make a fantastic mission though!
You know what I'd love to see this series do? Large scale combat with Cal and party members using all their weapons and abilities

I really hope when the leak says “different styles of combat”, it means the 7 different form of lightsaber combat. It would be so cool, the different forms could have different attacks, damage, attack speed, etc, I would love that.
I hope we see Maul. If you remember in Rebels, the Inquisitors knew him as "The Shadow", this would be a good way to elaborate on that lore.

The only thing that is off to me at the moment is how both in the trailer and the leaked material it looks that Cal only uses a standard single bladed lightsaber. I hoped that Survivor would expand on the combat of Fallen Order and possibly give us the option to use dual wield. I'm happy that they're adding blaster to the mix but I just don't know why not let Cal have the splitsaber.
I really hope they adress this in some way during the game awards.
we havent seen much but him not having a double blade/ split saber is a GIGANTIC retcon
You can use dual wield or double-sided lightsaber in Fallen Order. What are you talking about?

With fallen order it felt like they made a mini linear open world for each planet. I'm sure they will expand on that this time, removing the linearity and expanding the size of planets. Omg i want it!

This all sounds very promising! I only ask, about the larger scale maps, please can we fast travel once the story-mode of the planet is done? That way we can find other collectibles without going through all the same areas.

I'm really excited for this game I hope the map isn't linear but I would love to see more side quests kind of things. I loved the combat on jedi fallen order but I like how they are introducing a blaster so maybe cal ends up losing his light saber but very interesting. Can't wait to see the gameplay I can't wait. I feel like the jedi fallen order novel may be worth getting because I'd love to know what happens in the five years between survivor and fallen order.

What if one of the planets we explore in this game was Yavin IV? A little bit too early for the Rebel Alliance to be headquartered there but imagine getting to explore the temples and pyramids?

This is gonna be a month first purchase for me! I trust Respawn that much. I loved Fallen Order. It was one of my first games I played on the first PC I built in 2021. Also, this series is one of the few bits of new Star Wars media that is still entertaining, well written, non-divisive, and fun for old and new fans of the franchise, like me🤩🤩🤩🤩

Bro for the record there are no ruins of the Jedi Temple. The Jedi Temple at this point is the imperial palace. So I suspect we go to the underworld of Coruscant

It’s very unlikely we will go to the Jedi Temple. It has become the Imperial palace in the new canon. Could be fun, but it wouldn’t be ruins so much as it would be sneaking around storm troopers, guards, etc.
To me this seems like a Star Wars style ghost of Tsushima (which is really cool)

the only thing that could excite me more is if battlefront 3 was confirmed but that’s not gonna happen, this looks amazing tho and im sure everyone is gonna play this at least 4 times through
I didn't totally love Jedi fallen order but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will be the one. I am more or less just happy that EA/Respawn finally made a decent Star Wars game. As long as they don't turn the main character into a hopeless hermit then replace him with someone that has had zero training but can somehow do everything he can do and more I think we'll be fine.
I just hope the game not short and make it a long game to play because I beat the game really quick

Just because it’s a Next Gen only game that doesn’t mean the game is actually Next Gen.
Demon’s Souls Remake is on PS5 only but it’s a Remake, it could have been on PS4 as well if Sony wanted it to.

Me personally, Cal by the end of Fallen Order was already a powerful Jedi Knight when you unlock everything. He was just no match for Vader and that's why he got his cheeks clapped lol. Like duh, only a few selected people are a match for Vader, and let's not talk about Vader from the comics.
As of Obi-wan being in the game, that would be very impressive as theirs no surprise that he shouldn't be as they are pretty much in the same timeline. I'm very excited how Obi-wan would play out if they put him in the game.
They said that one suit was obviously Obi Wan inspired but doesn't that lightsaber look more like Qui Gon's?
It's Obi-Wan's from the Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones.
It's his Ep.1 lightsaber which if you look at it side by side que Qui-gonn it does have similarities before Obi going to his Revenge of the sith lightsaber

There are no "ruins" of the Jedi temple. Palpatine took it over and it's now the Imperial Palace. Cal's probably dead if he goes in there
I’m kinda disappointed with the customization with cals outfit because it doesn’t seem as customizable but everything else looks fine

Why put this out only for PS5 when nobody has one? It's sold out in most stores, and if you by it from someone selling one they try to overcharge you by a ridiculous price more than it's official purchase price which is $399.99!!! If you bought it for more than $500.00 call the Police because you got robbed!!!
