Personally I don’t care much for The Old Republic but having the OG Battlefront II in the top 3 spots is a W.
I played KOTOR 1&2 for the first time in 2020 and wow, they are some of the best games I’ve ever played. I almost quit after getting confused on Taris, and I’m so happy I didn’t.

Empire at War is the absolute best for me, that one really shows the 'wars' in Star Wars with massive fleet battles, and while the ground combat is a bit lackluster in comparison, it's still awesome to see your squad of AT-AT's crushing the Rebels.
Coincidentally i have a friend Daniel who talks about this game all the time
Empire at War is such a good game and the fact that is has such a strong modding community is a testament to it quality.

While the original is kind of bad ngl...the mods are keeping this game alive and a growing a audience for it...Mods such as Fall of the Republic and such are incredible
@@thedarvis1378 The modding community is a testament to the popularity of Star Wars. I'm a big RTS fan and Empire at War was a very shallow entry. It was an interesting idea but extremely flawed, and its poor sales figures despite being a Star Wars title reflects that. I really wanted to like it, but even for its day it was janky as hell. It needs a full remake to be a "good game".
KOTOR 2 is nearly on the same level as KOTOR 1 so I would have definitely expected a spot for it.
I'd agree, but the main reason it probably isn't is because of the game breaking bugs it still possesses.
I personally enjoyed 2's story more myself. but I get why it wasn't in the top

Kotor 2 is a bit more genius than 1.
Only with mods is it on par the base game is broke and buggy
I think KOTOR 2 has some issues. I've noticed it's a LOT harder to train your party members if you go dark side, plus I feel the game is too short to really take advantage of your party members when you actually do manage to train them, so you barely get to experience having them as Jedi.
Republic Commando is my personal favorite. The best thing I love about it is Scorch and his humor
The new Lego Star Wars has gotta be my favourite Star Wars game now with Jedi Fallen Order coming in second. I just love the open world of the lego games and how many characters you can unlock.

A Republic Commando Remake would be so amazing, and pretty easy to fit into canon, since the squad is still canon (the events of the games aren't though) thanks to that brief Cameo in Clone Wars

‘Episode III: Revenge of the Sith’ on PlayStation 2 was insanely good! Disappointed to not see that one get a mention!
While it was a little flawed due to being a word for word game version of the movie it did something very few star wars games have delved into as far as the movie saga goes and that's a what if scenario. in the Anakin vs. Obi-Wan Fight if you play as Anakin and win you'll see how things could have turned out if Obi-Wan having the high ground wasn't to his advantage.
Easily KOTOR 1 and 2 for me is my favorite Star Wars video games. The Old Republic era is my favorite era in all of Star Wars and KOTOR 1 is my favorite Star Wars story of all time.
I never played republic commando until last year and the fact that it holds up so well and I enjoyed it so much says something about the timeless nature of the game
We need a new Republic commando style game, with the Bad Batch characters and Rex
I feel like the bounty hunter jango fett game and the revenge of the sith games should’ve atleast been on the honorable mentions, both are fantastic games

Where's Battlefront I made by EA? The one that came before Battlefront II, the one that's criticized. I personally like SW Battlefront II but I agree on the fact that there should be more characters.
It should be here. That game FEELS Star Wars. I get so immersed in that game and actually feel like I’m in a Star Wars battle during walker assault

@@trentoninnewjersey Most of the content is locked behind a paywall, and everyone was spamming bacta bombs and shields too. It's far from amazing and there's a reason the general public has completely forgotten about it.
@@seriousnesstv7902 I feel like the first game definitely had better gunfights tho, and the blasters felts more smooth. In the second one blasters feels weak and overheat a lot and the recoil is just rodculous.
Jedi Fallen Order definitely knocked it out of the park. Delivered very well.
I just wish we could cut people I hate the fact lightsabers are blunt objects sure make it blunt for a little bit I want people to be DISMEMBERED

My favourite Star Wars game was Jedi academy, this tier list broke my heart in the first minute 🥺
Star Wars squadrons is one of my favs…. Run out there with a flight stick and it ups the fun factor. Do wish more content would’ve been released, but I’m glad ea actually made a game with no micro transactions

Bro, your bias for action and fps games is shining bright. Empire at War is one of the greatest RTS and SW games of all time, it still has a huge community and modding scene

10. - LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga - Solid gameplay loop and amazing adventure into the full (at the time) saga. The best LEGO game to come out before voices were added.
9 - Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Outcast - Amazing story and impressive saber combat that is only hindered by the fact that you don't really get a chance to use your full potential until the end, and some puzzles are very annoying for first time players
8 - Star Wars Squadrons - Amazing ship simulator that works even better in VR, but has enough of a solid story to keep you enthrawed the entire way
7 - Star Wars Knights of Old Republic - Truly the best RPG of it's era, the story and world that this opened up brings a new life to a franchise already thriving.
6 - Star Wars The Force Unleashed (PS2, Wii, PSP) - While not as visually stunning as the other versions, these versions bring the true Force Unleashed experience and story without bogging you down with annoying puzzles or limits.
5 - Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy - Everything you loved about Jedi Outcast, now with 200% more lightsabers, and other new weapons that don't disappoint. Great for those who wanna turn your brain off and slice things to bits.
4 - Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords - While the base game isn't that exciting toward the end, with The Sith Lords Restoration Content Mod, this game has jumped up significantly. One of the most inspiring Star Wars stories and adventures ever, where nothing is black and white and the philosophical aspects really keep this game afloat for years. Plus it vastly improves on the previous gameplay in almost all the right ways.
3 - LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga - Just like EA did with the Battlefront series, this modern day remake brings LEGO Star Wars to the modern era. Even with plastic and bricks, this game brings out the most impressive graphics, an interesting retelling of the Star Wars Saga, and enough characters for you to always find your favorite. This feels like a true Star Wars Fan put effort into a LEGO Game, rather than a cheap cash in that late LEGO games have become.
2 - Star Wars The Old Republic - With over 1000 hours of gameplay, story, and MMO goodness to keep you going, this game brings you the true KotOR 3 experience, and expands on it 200 fold. Even those who don't like MMOs will always find something great about this game's story, combat, and customizations, as well as it's very free to play friendly style that is sadly lacking in the moddern day.
1 - Star Wars Battlefront II (2017) - Best visual style ever concieved, this game truly shows how good Star Wars could become. With everything from soldier combat to ships to hero v hero to hunts to campaign, this game has everything a Battlefront fan could ask for in 4k. An unfortunate downside is that most PC's burst into flames when running on the best graphics, and the release and lack of competitive incentive really killed the hype that this game deserved. But it still brings that solid Battlefront experience fans crave, so long as you can find a match.

2) Sad SW: Racer didn’t make the cut, hope it had some support anyway
3) the big one - knowing it’s a cumulative list from many & it’s not ‘serious’, still pretty devastated to not see Bounty Hunter mentioned anywhere, sigh…. Way more than a Doom-clone like Dark Forces, I work at a retro game store and know that BH is held in such high regard by so so many, myself included…. Yes, it’s only 14-15 games listed jncluding ‘honorable s’, but I predicted it as a #6-8 area before watching, so I’m gonna pray it was high teens/barely edged out in your poll…. Great job overall tho… 👍

The OG Battle Front II is my #1 god i love that game. My sister used to come in my room when we were young to see what i was up to and if i was playing this game she would always ask to play. Ive never seen her play any other video game but we used to play for HOURS. Ill always remember this game because of that.
Ep3 game doesn’t get enough love
In regards to the Force Unleashed, there’s some debate as to which version is the definitive version. Either the PC/PS3/360, or the PS2/Wii/Switch.
Battlefront 2 is my fav
The PSP version of force unleashed was excellent, it had loads of different game modes and cool alternate story missions. Definitely the best version of that game!

- Shadows of the Empire (N64)
- Revenge of the Sith movie game
Kotor 2 is my personal favorite. Now, when I play it I'll skip some of the dialogue, but I still take my time to listen to one particular character's cryptic words

Original Battlefront 2 Will be my favorites Star Wars game what ever happens. Nostalgia is one reason but i had so much fun with this plus i think it one of my most played games with Skyrim and Runescape
I really hope Disney brings Star Killer into his own show that shows his adventures going from dark to light and starting a movement. Something super background that wouldn’t mess with any cannon but make him canon
Part of me is a bit annoyed with how much TCS overshadows 1 and 2... but then again, thats kinda exactly what it went out to do.
Take both games, merge them together, refine some stuff (Cough-PTVehicle Levels cough), leave the old levels as bonus, with some new levels as well.. and do all of this with higher resolution than before.
It is definitely a very good template of how to make a good compilation remaster, id say.

This is my list top ten from worst to best. 10: Clone commando. 9: Star Wars squadron. 8: Battlefront 2 (E.A). 7: the complete saga. 6: battlefront 2 (O.G). 5: The force unleashed. 4: KOTOR. 3: jedi fallen order. 2: SWTOR. 1: The skywalker saga.
Just by adding Ashoka, Plo Koon, Mace Windu, Asaj Ventrus, and maybe even snoke would’ve made battlefront 2 the perfect game. Plus more maps of course

@@zachbowles4842 Well, I can see why some people wouldn't count it. It only improved the combat gameplay but storywise, it was very short and not as impressive as the first game.

i didn't like kotor 2 at all and jedi outcast terrible at first, but then became great as it went along - i find it alright
Agreed with all of them but I would probably have switched some places but all in all that is pretty much my list aswell Especially with Kotor at 1
I think Jedi academy is better because outcast has a very short and erupt story and ending. It should have been longer.
YEAH ME TOO, i always play academy, but outcast i never wanna return to , that narshadaa level just sucked.
Academy was way shorter, tho.
@@objektgerste6019 I just mean the ending. In outcast, you break into 3 rooms, become god and kill the bad guy instantly. Pretty anti climatic. In academy, you get 2 endings, and in one ending, you and the Jedi raid the temple against the dark Jedi and have an epic final battle with Tavion. And the dark side ending, you raid the temple by yourself fighting both Jedi and dark Jedi, and have, 2 boss battles against Tavion and Kyle.

Personally, I think Racer, Jedi Starfighter, The Clone Wars (2003), and Bounty Hunter deserve a lot more love.

KOTOR is arguably one of the single greatest games ever made, like it’s right up there with legend of Zelda ocarina of time. It’ll always be the greatest Star Wars game ever

Here's my personal list from old to new, the two KOTOR games, Jedi Academy, the Force Unleashed, and of course Jedi Fallen Order. I just love ANY Star Wars game featuring the Jedi.
Classic SWBF2 is the best by far!

I wish SW the old republic got more than an honorable mention. I understand the gameplay doesn't compare to the top ten but the cinematics are almost as good as the star wars movies could be because I'm a insane old republic fan.
The original battlefront 2 is absolutely iconic and an absolutely incredible game i loved that game so much and played it to death!

SW:TOR isn't a great MMO (imo), but it's worth playing through to experience the different class stories

Who else wants a World of Warships/War Thunder style and/or Post Scriptum/Squad/Arma/Hell Let Loose style semi-realistic Star Wars combined arms infantry/vehicular combat game? I love all the above mentioned games and it would be absolutely fantastic to see a Star Wars game in a similar style.
